What settings would you use to play this game on the 4070 SUPER?
The 4070 super is a solid GPU with a good price
I’m thrilled to see that you’ve incorporated the "MSI Z790 Tomahawk MAX" in your benchmarking, since it supports the latest PCIe 5.0 standard! Does this upgrade make a noticeable difference in the performance?
0:35 Didn't even stutter!
😂 The name is not as bad as some other ones out there. But I do think that these monitor model names need to become easier to pronounce. Gigabyte is on the right path with their M series. M27Q, M32U and so on.
Thank you for the content, it was very helpful. Great job.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another nice video, love this game already I am running the RTX 4070 ti super, but my processor is the I5 12600k, my screen is a 27” AOC 4K monitor. What do you use to enable changing your settings while in the game ?.
It's not fair to compare 1080p on a 32" monitor ,try 1080p on a 24" and 1440p on 27" and then compare vs 4k on 32" monitor.
I spoke about 27-inch 1080p experience vs 32-inch 4K experience. I've spent many years playing games on a 27-inch 1080p monitor. 24 inch is too small in my opinion. So, I know very well what it feels like in comparison🙂
Do u need launch also?
Good to see that in this game enabling DLSS upscaling does reduce VRAM usage, unlike in 2 previous Nixxes PC ports - Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank. It was really strange that even at Ultra Performance preset VRAM usage remained exactly the same as at native resolution.
It is indeed a pretty well optimized game overall. Probably the first game released this year, which runs fine on day one.
There are still some small issues here and there. But nothing game-breaking. I think Nixxes are doing a much better job at porting games to PC than most other companies.
What gpu cable brand are you using? Thanks
I use EZDIY-FAB GPU Power Sleeved Cable Extension, 16pin(12+4) 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0. Bought it on Amazon.
IVadim, The game is very interesting and the setup is perfect for 1440p and 4k in a pinch. Thanks for the video!
My pleasure! 😀
4070 super overclocks extreamly well.
My aorus master holds 3015mhz core clock at all times
and I've added 1600mhz to the memory.
I get around 102-120fps 4k dlss quality FG.
how are your temps usually?
@@jokur7 I bought a few 4070 supers, and returned them all.
Then I bought the best model I could, the Aorus Master. I knew it was special the second it came with a special 4 year warranty. The maker is that confident in its components.
With the max overclock, in a tiny case, with default fan curve. My card never goes above 61c. Period.and most the time it's 40-50s.
I absolutely love this card, dead quiet zero coil sounds. Play anything at 4k ultra, or with dlss and 1440p is childs play.
It was worth every penny. I'd rather have a premium version of a nice card, then get a card 8 fps higher that overheats and is at 100c hotspot.
I have great pridein this beast.
Are curved monitors good for fps?
I don't mind as long as the curve is not too aggressive.
120 fps on rx 7800xt native 1440p max with FG no problems, 120 to 140 fps.. I set everything to max and its 60 to 80fps with some drops under 60 in cut scenes but i played only like 1 hour..
Fsr fg is pretty low quality.
Yes , The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 super is an excellent choice for 1440p gaming. With a TDP of 220W, it is also very efficient. The current market price is also quite reasonable.
It's fine. Would've been close to perfect in terms of specs if NVIDIA designed it with 16GB of memory. Frame generation consumes a lot of that memory to work properly. No peace of mind with 12GB.
Can't play this in the philippines using PC sony sucks.
Indeed. That is such a silly restriction. And one that can not be easily overcome with VPN either if I understand correctly. The stupid part is that you don't even need to link to PSN for single player. I haven't linked and the game lets me play single-player just fine. Sony hates money I guess🤷♂️
