These are very nice guards. Fit is excellent, simple to install, and they look awesome with my matching handlebars. No worries cutting your factory bag support (as long as you leave enough length) as the fit is nice and tight. I also didn't use a bolt to secure the new guard to the factory bag support as I didn't feel it was necessary due to the excellent fit and basic geometry of the install.

When will these be back in stock? They've been out of stock forever.

So the remaining piece of bracket left on bike just slides into the Factory 47 guard? No rattling? Tight fit? Cool part.....little apprehensive cutting my shit tho ya know?

I just installed these on my 2019 RGS. They are pre-drilled with a hole that you an add a bolt to secure the bars to the cut off end of the saddlebag support bracket. Factory 47 does not provide a bolt and nut, which is pretty sad for the price of the bars. I have some SS bolts and a lock nut ready to go, but honestly, these things are pretty tight and I'm not really sure the nut and bolt will be needed. But again, they do provide a pre-drilled hole in that 4" standoff if you feel like you really would like to add a nut and bolt to the assembly.
BTW, they do look pretty bad ass when mounted!

@@zonktified1247 what size bolt did you use in the stand-off?

@@bmess6 hey Bob. I ended up not using one because the fit was really tight. But of I recall the bolt was a #6 or 8. 10/32 maybe about 3/4” long. You could also just tap the cut end and screw the bolt into that too I suppose.
