you guys missed the fact that the items that they are charging for were in tekken 7 and cut from tekken 8 to be sold back to you.
They did this with the character customisation from soul caliber iv to v and again to vi

Not going to lie, I don't think they are familiar with TEKKEN at all, I can tell you that I'm definitely pissed off, the fact that they at least had everything included in the season passes that came out, and now they are instead doing a microtransaction, battle pass move, It's disgusting and it should be talked about more, but everyone is afraid to say anything anymore because too many people still buy into it and defend it.
Call of Duty has been doing the same for a few years now too! Disgusting.

At this point KOTOR has been confirmed, unconfirmed, cancelled, and uncancelled so many times, I'll believe it's actually happening when it releases. And even then I'll be somewhat skeptical.

Thats how i am after every game now a days. it's so easy to be hyped over a game u think looks amazing or a franchise u like, like starwars. After awhile when most games come out and they all are crap i just gave up and only get the games after reviews.
The problem about the T8 fight pass is MOST of the items are for your character avatars which if I recall not a lot of people even go to the tekken....what's it called? (see even I can't remember because I don't go) to play with other people/hang with friends. Everyone just goes to rank mode from the main menu. So having a lot of items in the fight pass just for your avatar...which the only thing they can do is run around a small hut full of arcade machine is a huge no.
That’s so dumb. So anything for the actual characters is paid.
Yeah that fight lounge and the avatar was only to compete with what street fighter has done with their social system...but it's a quickly put together no afterthought system that has no real good social features and is just there to sell cosmetics which people don't even want because people don't even interact with the lounge that much

If I want to continue playing past that first month. Sure, ask for money. I clearly want more content. I’ll gladly pay. Don’t sell me half a game with the promise of more to come later or hide half behind a pay wall on launch.

Picked up MK1 on disk for £20 the other day. Glad I waited, guess I’ll do the same with Tekken, which I was going to pick up this weekend.
Bandai namco has been supporting xenoverse 2 for 8 years with optional dlc that you don't need to get a complete game.

I dunno if OJ or any of the guys know but there have been quite a few dating sims in which you date senior citizens. Can't remember the names now but they are up on Steam somewhere. And also, there was talk for a while of a Golden Girls fan game in the style of Persona but that was sadly cancelled mainly cause game development was too difficult for the devs, not based on any cease and desist from lawyers.

Think about Team Cherry, they have one of the most anticipated games in the gaming space. The AAA gaming industry needs to get small. There will be a point that nobody will buy expensive trash when amazing games are great and $25
My problem with fighting games online is 90% of my matches are one-sided in some way. Either my opponet completely destroys me from full to dead, which feels awful. Or i do that to the opponent, and honestly, even when i win like that, it doesn't feel that great. Rarely do i feel the matches have a proper back and forth unless you're a top-tier player and you get ranked high enough.
i've come across a lot of pawns that don't have any upgrades and i'm nearly level 50.
Tbf the game is so easy you dont even need to worry about it. That probably why a lot of people arent really working on making their pawns better. Personally when im looking for other pawns i just get ones that look cool or have 1 ability i want.

i rushed the endgame area put my pawn in all the gear you can get for free out there for fighter and the weapon plus he is level 90 he gets likes and items every single time i go to sleep

When you have magic and monsters/demons, flying units, summons, how can you go back to regular humans with sticks where basically any character has the same animation no matter the country except for a few unit types?

I know it's been decades but i wish they would make a new Bloody Roar game. Or at the very least put the originals on the Playstation store. I can think of other games i wish would get revived as well but i've been waiting for Bloody Roar just hoping for a small light. When they did those Playstation tiers including the classics i thought maybe but still no luck.
For warhammer 3 i hated that the dlc gets a 3 race pack. The issue is that we wont know if the unit becomes unbalanced between the races.

You don't know? It's always been unbalanced.
Old races need updates but they either fall short or don't come at all... They just laid off a lot of people too so don't expect to have the same quality or support you were used to 2 years ago.
I stopped supporting them at the chaos dwarfs update I didn't buy for the first time since the first TW Warhammer game. I've bought every single one before that, it was amazing.
Sieges are such a chore they didn't even bother making them fun. No naval battles either that would have been 10x better than adding more unbalanced packs.
Nurgle is still shit to this day and I don't trust CA to make them interesting in thrones of decay.

I stopped playing Tekken 8 because I sucked and I didn't want to invest time and effort to be competitive. I would have jumped back in if Eddy Gordo was free. He's not. Now there's a battle pass and I can honestly say Tekken 8 is the first game I regret spending $70 on.

That move by Tekken was really shady - didn’t expect that from that game at least. As much as I don’t like government agencies to get involved this is definitely something that needs to be addressed because they’re not being forthright with what the game is-baiting and switching it to unsuspecting consumers after they already made 70 bucks off of them is not cool. I rather they be up front and list what it will have before even taking preorders.

One more reason to avoid AAA multiplayer games. This stuff where they patch in monetization later will probably be a regular thing in the future.
I'm going to fight back against this narrative that games cost more now than in the 90's or 2,000's. Wages for most devs haven't really gone up. Sure, more programs have become necessary for development so more licenses but those programs greatly reduce the development time of assets so products can be produced at a much greater rate. All products are digital goods so no manufacturing costs. Really, game production costs about the same if you exclude the skyrocketing ceo salary.
Tekken was always my least liked by the big 3, but this time around I think it is still packed with a lot. That's why it got such praise. It scummy they are adding in past cosmetics via the pass though.
