I feel for you... I'm in NH and we have had a tremendous amount of snow in the last few weeks. It's to the point now were the snowblower can't throw it over the banks.
Hopefully the temps will warm up so some of it will melt, then you have the other end of the spectrum of flooding. Glad you rebuilt your deck last Summer so it can hold all this snow. Be safe Rick.

You guys are getting hammered this year. We've had much less snow than normal, but colder. They just started cutting and breaking the ice on the Red River lt flows north so the melt in the US heads this way while we're still solid ice. They break it to minimize ice jams and flooding. The ice is about 1 foot thicker than normal.
wow...over waist deep.... remember that as a kid out on the farm...had to keep the 1/2 mile driveway clear plus the barn and the back of the barn so the cows could roam. then beside the house so the coal truck could dump and turn around. ohio is getting snow big time but its south of columbus from me. -9 temps are great for ice fishing. been out alot and the hit the 15"crappies time and time again. a 1st for that. no walleyes tho which is odd for deep water. keep safe

I havent seen that here in Indiana since 1978. What's the point of digging out, cant go anywhere? I just hope you had plenty of grub. I dont know if that high snow will make your house easier to heat or make it worse to heat?
