I like the black trim. I have missed allot of your videos and I watch this one and the car is almost done and looking really sweet. The clarity is awesome and so smooth. Missing Milo allot too.

Rick I am doing the same thing with Darkness with the trim..I put wayyyyy to much urethane down and now I am using a razor to clean it up and I am also blacking out the trim..I have to get those clips on to figure it out..can't wait to see yours and I will follow suite..keep it up CJ
My wife found my RockAuto list as well....but didn't order any of the parts because had them listed by name, not by part #. So she had no clue once she saw all the different choices of brands. The only reason my wife knows blinker fluid, muffler bearings, and radiator rods don't exist is because she hears my son and I poking fun.....lol Have a great 2015 man!

I would like to see how the paint adheres to the anodized aluminum. I've had trouble in the past where after the trim was out in the sun a few months, it would start to peel off. I was guessing it was because the aluminum would expand and contract more than the paint I was using from heating in the sun and cooling at night. It might be something worth researching. The Nova is looking great. New car parts always make great gifts. If your the one receiving them. tc Rick

Hi Rick nice job the Nova is looking awesome! Have you thought about a black chrome look for the trim pieces? maybe try some black paint in some clear and spraying them like that see if that would look cool or not?
restoring my 4 door 78....did yours have on back window the lower trim...was there actually a chrome trim there or not...i know i was trying to get and not even shur there was any...taking out directly the inline 6..got a local engine builder doing a 350..just a little step up cam for sound and headers..got so they say the last set of original tail lights from ecklers nova and got 2 new headlight bezels..those came from a gm wharehouse and were the only 2 left of those ..the box was friggin old as dirt i know that...i striped down the front end..cleaning everything up and painting...re sealing the tar areas because its all so old and cracked..that or it got that way after my brother having a day off said he wanted to help clean the grease of the 250 and being i had to work..like a dk head.he took oven cleaner to everything...PISED.yup..after all paint come of every where..creating surface rust..im nearing half done in 2 weeks now..got a lot to do yet..workin on cow pannel area and sides of firewall..got to yank motor and do remainder of fire wall..i was told to start where i did before doing big part pof firewall..and frame last...wished i had sand blaster..but drill/angle grinder wire wheel is working well.control arms will have to get the dremel tool treatment where i cant get anything else in to do whats needed..i got fenders to do on inside.lot of other parts are primned and painted.just have few little pieces to finish...front grille plate headlight what have you got 2 rust spots to re weld up...its not bad..but i am abouts 4 weeks hoping to get it runnning...then finish whats needed including fix front dent on the hood..then get slight twist out.then paint it..your nova looks sharp..love the yellow...
