Rick, what a beautiful Muscle car you've built, i started following you when you were patch welding the chassis frames and still had a 4 door shell hung from the roof... that must be four years of more ago sir... you are an inspiration to patience and determination.. you should get in touch with Hot Rod magazine and have Frieburger come do a feature on it... take care my friend and enjoy the summer cruising in your awesome car... take care and all the best from England.. Del.
Congrats Rick on this milestone. I like the looks of slot wheels on the Nova, period correct aftermarket wheel for back in the day. Looks like you got the yellow buffed out good.. bummer on the hood. We had the same thing on our dash, i tried to do the carbon fiber paint job on it, wasn't happy with it, painted it black, and you can still see the carbon pattern in it.
Hoooooman the car Looks and sounds AWESOME buddy. It's been quite a long adventure with you watching this car come together. You made er bud!!! Great work!!
That is a thing of beauty to see you driving down the road in the old girl. You have done so much work to it and she has turned out beautiful Rick. Nicely done sir.
The Nova is lookin great Rick. You have done a really great job on rebuilding it and I have put on a few pounds while I helped you along by watching you work while I drank pepsi. Great job my friend, Thumbs up and Cheers. OLDDUDE
This video just made me smile ear to ear awesome to see this long road come to an end and the car looks great !!!! Awesome job rick you have every right to be proud buddy
that yellow looks good in the sun, car sounds good to, hope everything has been going good sir, ive been doing flat bed work for boyd brothers now, been doing that for 4 months or so, loving it...anyway have a good day
Rickfix..., i followed that build and noticed u posted this finished product...., and of course u follow my friend Pete your friend Pete.... Damn he is a " brand". I'm 49 and live in Ladner b.c. Canada, opposite end of Rick! He is east east ... Rick is great, honest, humble, realistic and did a great job!! It inspires me to finish my 68 dart. Pete ( swrnc or diyautoschool ) did a 68 dart and it's a template for doin it right!!
Yay! You must be proud cause she's awesome! I won't get to meet her this year but I'll try again next year. It's a long trip from Alberta and maybe by then you'll be all together and so will I. ;)

Dirtyburger11 thankx ryan, she went through alignment with flying colors and shes working pretty good, put about 60 miles on her, still got some bugs but nothing major, looking forward to your visit, take care
You've just invented Ghost Carbon Fiber it's kinda like ghost flames. She sounds and looks very sharp good choice on the slot mags and Cooper Cobras. Have a great one until the next video.
Beautifull job. re the plastic protectors for window cranks, make them out of a polycarbonate coke bottle or milk container, cut to same size as crank and you have saved yourself $20. Re hpr, I miss his videos and have wondered if he is ok, his chanel was closed. :(
Hey Rick, i know its early days but how is that VHT Header spray you put on those headers. I'm looking around at different coatings but i cant find any real world reviews after its been used. Has it cracked or peeled since you've been running the Motor? Cheers, Sam. Car looks AWESOME. love the wheels.
Swilling thankx sam,the vht header spray isnt cracking or peeling but ive got little rust spots coming through which could be just that the headers werent new when i coated them,i cleaned them good but probably missed some rust, ill give them a show on my next vid for ya,tc
would a flat black on the hood be a sin?--- back in the day we used it to cut the glare of light in the eye's. Be a a nice touch with a carbon print in char coo webbing --- never mind my spelling:-) a yellow so cool needs a total off set to send it off--- Helps if it has a reason. Just a line from a dreamer. like how you put the Mustang seats in get a few miles more on you ass then any nova seat I drove in. Grate job.
if you got a connection to get trim..email me bwolive1..gmail.. love the craigers...showed vid to wife...se said i should get craigers for mine...prob is...what they cost..info be nice to have...just dashes can restore dashes...cost about 850 not counting shipping...my instrument bezel...i cant find..so..its going to get epoxy where upper right is missing a piece..got to get rear seat cover ordered and put on and my carpet is mint all but worn spot by highbeam switch..im a second owner..might have put 5 thousand on it since i bought 8,9 yrs ago..not drove this last 3 yrs...well legally..head blew 3 weeks after redone...that was few grand down the tubes after spending 1200 a week in a rental van..well because cavalier got hit while off the side of the road...progressive ins gave me a screwing...reason i had gotten in a van for 7 weeks...do the math ontop the 1600 to redo motor that re blew head gasket...needless to say..i shut that busines down..lol...he ran motor with out oil and antifreeze so i was told and got them to testify...is what it is rick....but..im dying to get this thing riding...so many are liking me restoring...orig owner hardly ever had this 4 door in the rain or snow...me..well a few times...its in damned good shape...restoring is coming along...never get rid your nova..love my 4 door...
