I think something needs to go over the sink area. Maybe a cool custom hanging light fixture made by you as that area is super dark and would be a good statement piece.
There is actually a can light directly over the sink, so I could change that out. Also thought about some narrow floating shelves 🤔
The new look is great. I think the lights are definitely the kicker for me!
If you have any left over counter top, you could make a little folding area right next to your washer and dryer. That would look nice and be functional!

looks nice! if you ever feel like doing something with the upper 7" space, moving it to next to the stove and making it a pull out spice rack would be a nice feature if you like to cook a lot. also, for over the sink, building in a drying rack for dishes that are hand washed was something i did in my kitchen and i absolutely love it and wish i had done so sooner.

Looks great! I would suggest putting a filtered water dispenser there beside the fridge or maybe some sort of ice maker. After having a fridge that has a built-in water and ice dispenser I can't go without it.
Thank you! I do have an ice maker in my freezer and use a filter pitcher for now.

I would build a refrigerator surround/cabinet and add 15 inch base cabinet if there’s enough room or do a shelf on the side of the frig cabinet

Looks so nice. I would have considered adding a built-in table where the empty space next to the stairs is, or at least making the table fit there. Plus you need one more cupboard for the sink area also taller like the one in the corner. And of course, crown moulding for the kitchen and LED lights for the top of the kitchen cabinets. Of course, these are my suggestions, you do not have to follow them. But you should haha
Haha all good points. Didn't do the one over the sink because there is a can light in the ceiling that would get blocked. The new table can definitely fit where you said, can't do a permanent install because I have that secret hidden door under the stairs 🤘

Well I haven't built cabinets but mounting is pretty straight forward
Put a cool painting or photo above your kitchen sink
Put a pedal bin next to the fridge!
you should put a pull out spice rack in the space between the corner upper cabinets!
I was looking to do something like that. Didn't find one to fit yet.
@@Kordare drawer slide on the bottom/top of cabinet, custom make a shelf to fit? feel like spices wouldnt flex the drawer slide too much as you pull it out
