Right to the point ,no time wasted ,no extra talk, no blah blah blah blah, awesome video. Thank you
woah ive seen alot of diy videos, but your one is PERFECTION!! straight to the point and very enjoyable to watch!
You make pouring concrete countertops easy, it looks really nice and clean, goes nicely with your cabinets. Thank you for sharing your talent for making things with us, you rock.
Your videos have helped me grow as a person.
Love how you do this with your dad. It ended up looking very good. We recently renovated our kitchen with a service and we were able to get pretty good results. Can’t wait to see new videos. ❤
Those countertop forms are SO neat! Never knew that was a product!
This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for posting. I'm so fortunate to have your video popping up on my feed when I just started thinking of making something like this.
Looks gorgeous. Never believe it's a diy
I always feel so inspired and motivated after watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your process with us!
Love this tutorial and the vacation rental came out brilliant!
Beautiful job, I love your white concrete countertops. Thx for your excellent tutorial. You've convinced me I can maybe do this! On a wing & a prayer.
Concrete countertops will always have a special place in my heart 🥹 These turned out great!
omg. This is so nice. The imperfections are the ones that make it beautiful
Stefani it's Beautiful! All of your work is!!!!
Wow, great job 👏. It looks absolutely beautiful 😍
So pretty! Fantastic job 🎉
Wow!!! So beautiful, you DID that!
Thank you for the tutorial
The countertops are gorgeous!!!
That’s a lot of work, now I understand why it so expensive (in Flipping houses TV shows).
I think the imperfections and the odd spots make it unique and stylish.
Great work.
I'm impressed. Good job!
I would have done a 1/4” to 1/2” plywood underlayment atop the cabinets and then attached the rockboard. This would ensure the sink weight, when it has water in it will be strong and it won’t deflect or stress the concrete top and possibly cause cracking/ spalling. If the cabinets are 33” tall then you need a full 3” top to get to 36” finished height.
She did it right, the z-form calls for a specific thickness of cement board.
@@mr.merica5789 except the cement board has very low rigidity. My statement still stands. You need to support the rock with plywood underlayment.
I was concerned about this too, especially considering the long narrow section in front of the sink. I bet there’ll be a crack on the left and right side after a while. Beautiful countertop though.
@@muzaaaaak your statements do not „stand“. You would be looking at plywood as the form wouldnt cover the added height difference. Bye.
@@micheljansen85 Then I guess its a shitty product.
Nice! The black sink adds a nice touch
Hi Stefani,
Very interesting on concrete countertops I never knew how was done thanks for sharing.
Good morning Stefani. Congratulations on creating another excellent video with superb production values. Your kitchen home decor and home construction skills are impeccable - with a wonderful sense of aesthetics. Not surprising however - from a strong self sufficient woman such as yourself. TYFS and have a great Monday and don't forget to take some time for yourself 🌹🌹😉😉😉😉
Love it. They look great. I wanna try this!
Looks beautiful!
You did an amazing job on the house and all the projects in the house especially this one. You do an amazing job on all the job you. I'd like to do this job but I don't know. Thank you for sharing everything
It looks so good. Definitely inspired.
Absolutely impressive
Your countertops came out beautifully!
You are a genius, has nordic style is really beautifull.
This looks amazing
I love them! Good job!
I love te way you did this. Very nice vid!
THANK YOU. The kinda step by step I live for. Appreciate you for sharing!! I make neon signs and didn't realize the process of redoing a counter top could be something i could build like i do my signs. Star dust sprinkle of celebration happening in my brain. :)
Love that your dad is helping 👍🙌🏻
Stefani, you are awesome…great projects, great videos, and great quality of work.
You would make any husband or father SO proud!!!
Or sister or mother, or girlfriend.
Beautiful! I’ve always thought about creating a concrete countertop, but have shied away from the complexity involved. The method you used looks very doable, though. It would be interesting to see a one year review of this project about how it has held up and how satisfied your are with the performance of your countertop.
You did an amazing job.
Looks great! Thanks for sharing.
This looks soooo good!
Thanks. Will do this for my parents country home too
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
Very impressive love your work
Great Job Stephani!
Great job, video was very helpful 😊
You did a great job.
Great transformation
That was just beautiful
Well done you. Great work.
Amazing and inspiring video
Very Nice! Love it going to have to give it a try!
Awesome job! I am thinking of doing an outdoor kitchen with a concrete counter...
Love this! Nice job!
awesome job well done!!
Looks nice! Maybe you could make a follow up video on the counter top. I would be interested in seeing how it looks after a year. I mean are there any stains or cracks? How does the coating hold up against the typical kitchen stains (water, oil, red wine ^^ ) cheers, Michael
That is definitely the one drawback - especially in the kitchen. We would use an organic based sealant, but it wasn't strong enough to resist stains - especially wine and citrus. If you don't wipe it immediately, they etch. We used stronger industrial level sealant, but then it's not the best for health reasons. Catch 22. They are beautiful when 1st installed though for sure.
@@DesignRhythmThe question is: Does it look good like old uses leather seats or does it look crappy and you want to throw it out? ^^
@@succubiuseisspin3707 Honestly, it looks crappy. Unfortunately it is not a patinaed look that you are thinking of... Basically picture all kinds of sweat rings from glasses that you can't get rid of without re-sanding/polishing/sealing. However, the feeling of density with concrete, which we all love, still remains. Like I said, you just have to really watch it like a hawk / use coasters, clean up spills immediately. But one party, and it is etched.
great job, I've found that vibration is a key to a great concrete countertop, you can carefully use a reciprocating saw without a blade as makeshift concrete vibrator. Also to have a finish without any voids even super small one, concrete topping can be used after the first pass of sanding/polishing with 60/80 grid.
Loved it.
beautiful
Great job!!!!
Looks really good I want to do mine
I loved great job
~~Very Pretty~~
You did a great job 😊👍
Looks Awesome 👌
Would love to watch a update on how it held up after a year!
I’m gonna do this
The only thing I would’ve done additionally?: silicon caulk around the bottoms & edges of the foam forms prior to screwing then in-place.
& (no joke intended although it sounds funny) I would have used a vibrating massage device from underneath several passes in lieu of just tapping the edges.
Nice. Very nice!
I love it!!!😊
Beautifully done video. Very professional presentation, narration, camera angles, music and editing. One of the best I've ever seen. Congratulations. And thank you.
That came out really nice. Curious, since the top is concrete, when building/installing the counters, do they need to be stronger/thicker than the norm to handle the weight of the counter top?
Good job
My god that was a hell of a lot of work!!!!! I was tired just watching. I don't think any concrete counter out there is perfect!!! Maybe with some type of design/color in the concrete, it would hide the imperfections. If you have to have it perfect, that is. It turned out beautiful, Stefani. Excellent job as per your usual. Thanks for sharing. Loved attaching the dry vac to the sander. 💓
Thank you for watching!! You are the sweetest ❤
Nice I want that
Good Job, i like it
You made that look easy compared to some other videos I've watched that did concrete counter tops. If I get the opportunity to have a concrete counter top I will have to reference back to this video for sure.
Turned out great. Thanks for showing the detail. You mentioned you would have like to have used a large screed. Would you have also done something different with the Styrofoam since it was higher than your finished surface?
Amazing work, im sorry I have a concern though that with this system it seems people aren't pitting any reinforcement in the thinnest bit of concrete, a little piece of 10 m rebar, it comes in fiberglass now as well, across that bit in front of the sink or in other videos was a range top. That's a small brittle bit that needs something
I like it, subscribed.
Those imperfections add carácter like Venetian plaster … great work 👍🏼
Excellent video, really clear and now i want to make one! Please wear a mask when you are mixing or sanding concrete though, the dust is really based for your lungs :-)
Nice!
❤love it
Came out very nice. I wonder why you didn't put some reinforcement into the small strips in front of the sink. That looks pretty fragile to me.
perfect
I do love the idea of this stuff. Our bench is to large for a single piece of most bench top materials so the idea of this is perfect. I would have thought mesh would be needed along the thin sections in-front and behind the sink etc. How has that stood up over the years?
Great video! I’m using the euroedge with white tote as well! How long do you have to wait before applying the sealer? Can you do it right after taking the forms off?
This looks great! I’ve watched so many concrete countertop vids, this is well done! Love your ceiling and the wood drawer fronts as well! Could I be critical about one thing, this is totally a matter of taste, but, while I love the drawer pulls, they’re too white for me. Just me though, I hope you love them! You’re space is totally cool, kudos for the hard work!
WOW 🤩💯🥳 Love it!!! Girlll you did a great job!!! 🔥👏🏻💥 looks really awesome!!!😍 Very curious about the total cost?!
Nice 😍
Thanks for this great video!!
btw..what is the refrigerator in your space?
Great job. I was wondering if it is possible to add some veining in the concrete.
Awesome job! What kind of burner is that??
great job , resin worktop might have been less messing about, but great job
Nice work, it’s beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Very nice! I have two questions for you:
1 - Can you please share the link, where did you buy that beautiful runner?
2 - Would please make a follow up video on the counter top. I would be interested in seeing how it looks after a year. Are there any stains or cracks? How does the coating hold up against the typical kitchen stains?
Thanks in advance!
great
Love these! Do you know what would happen if you modified the concrete to be more like terrazzo by adding shards of pottery or other stuff in there?
Great vid. Went to the blog unable to find this info and material list without having a instagram acct.

Beautiful! Off topic question... what brans is the coffee pot? It's so cute and I love the color.
