This is their first time doing this many songs back to back live. I think they became very tired during super shy, that's why it was hard for them. I could hear them struggling to breath in the mic. They were very energetic and to dance and jump for an entire hour while singing is really hard for any human, much less these petite girls. Also, they only have 1 year of experience and they're super young so they don't have the same amount of training as other groups have, they're a rookie group. They did very well as a rookie group and young artist in general.
To be fair, every performer on stage was using back track. Due to the outside venue. This is common on all outdoor venues. I was personally enjoyed newjeans. They did a great job overall and can’t wait to see them in Coachella 2024. ❤❤
They were amazing the whole time…not sure i’ve heard anyone say anything bad about it.

@@LaraSanda They werent only "jumping" and "Dancing" they engaged with the audience, held cute conversations with them, sang live in most of their songs in the setlist, hyper performances, hype up shouts and screams and even genuine smiles and passion knowing also how overwhelmed they are because of the fact that they were suddenly thrown to perform infront of a huge crowd in a western facade. They delivered enough for what seemed like first timers are capable of that exceeds their limits.
They have the best stage presence as a group, on one lacks not even a one person

It can’t really be considered lip syncing if you’re just relying on the back track more. Also it’s difficult so they did amazing! Also it makes sense why they performed ASAP, honestly. Hurt I kinda agree but that’s their concept.
Hurt is amazing and I’m glad they performed. It’s one of my favorite songs. The only issue is that the outfits were lame. They should have worn the Attention or Super Shy MV outfits. The clickbait title is getting out of hand and not necessary for you to have people watch your videos. Ppl are watching anyway.

I don’t think artists should be able to sing perfectly well while doing hard, fast or tiring choreo.. I understand you say that they train for exactly that but bringing vocals while doing complex choreo that gets you out of breath (no matter how hard you train) is really hard to do. Also them becoming less vocal during the second part I understand but I’m not sure what to think of it. I watched the live myself and didn’t mind or notice anything really so I’d say the performance was a succes. The girls really did great and gave their all!

I skipped the hurt performance since it did not really go well with the festival's vibe. ASAP though, the beatdrop was surpisingly hype, but the rest of the song were such a lackluster which is a great thing because it was saved for last, enough to conclude their whole performance 😂

I think their performance was really good but singing and dancing at the same time is their job but I don’t think we should be too hard on them because they’re still rookies. Especially performing super shy in the second half of the video means that they performed before that and were prob tired and I know that isn’t an excuse but as rookies they performed well

As someone who learned the whole supershy choreography I don't know ANYONE in the K-pop industry who could perform that song purely live, it's not just exhausting but also physically painful I know and I would bet real money that only Beyonce' could perform that song live, especially when all of their songs have choreographies (except for get up and hurt). And even with the back track on the second half you could still clearly hear the girls voice, it's just there to cover their breathiness or possible shaking voice

They literally gave a concert with all their album songs. Minus be who you are and zero those don’t count to me as a feature and don’t have albums. You said not all songs need a choreography: they did not have one for hurt? And for reference NJ referenced their first US stage performance a concert and like I said they gave us ALL their album songs. 👏🏼 give it up to these talented women 👏🏼
Concert goers were hot just standing and watching their performance let’s give them some grace they are in the heat and layers of clothing?? (dani long sleeve and I think Hanni is wearing tights). They are also in leg warmers and BOOTS 😭👏🏼🙌🏼 they are fucking rockstars for that haha.
They even switched up their performance with a live band and rock and roll-ish beats to my opinion to appeal to US fans.
Their energy is contagious. I got chills just watching the performance here on CZcams 🥹 and honestly it’s a lose lose whether they lip sync OR dance/sing live with some unstability in their voice. But they DID THE DAMN THING 👏🏼 they are a rookie group and just having watched twice live in concert who have years of exp on their back- the first NJ US concert makes me so excited for what else they have in store ❤️
Let’s show more love and positive energy like NewJeans. Most of all they seem very grateful for the opportunity and HAD LOTS OF FUN.
I feel like first they were energetic and that’s good, but super shy is a hard song so they needed a break from the singing. Then they needed a break from all the dancing so they performed hurt. I think that’s fine

@@aspenjones8841 actually it’s not her entire channel as she does have other videos about funny pop culture moments and stuff I could understand your frustration if she was actually hating on them with nothing to back up her reasoning but she does have valid points and idols aren’t perfect so their performances are bond to have mistakes and cheats but with the career that they chose criticism will follow and it’s mostly the fans who can’t handle that criticism
My only real criticism with their performance is the outfit cause it's good and the girls pulled it off well but i think it'll be a better styling decision for a festival to go with their hype boy era styling or even with ETA styling especially with the wings. But it doesn't matter much i just thought the performance in general was gagged might as well also gagged the western audience with the outfits

A.s.a.p dont belong on a stage because its so ugly to listent and weird so yeah a.s.a.p was really not usefull on stage but when it comes to hurt am not really a fan so if they wanted to make peapole dance they should perform zero but this performance are well done and really great unlike blackpink ( no hate) who Will give the best or the worst performance ever

like we all love newjeans, but there were somethings i didn't like during newlolla, this was obvious that their debut songs are really famous like hype boy so everyone was singing together, but a time came when members looked tired, like everything was good but there was nothing special in the performance, i know its their first time especially they are so young and they re going to improve more in future when they will have their concerts, but i guess it was too early for them to go to lollapalooza.
