Rosé was the best performer, both solo and group wise. Her vocals were out of this world, and her dance, her own added little steps and jumps, expressions, stage presence were on point and the raps that she got, in some songs, though short, were awesome. She added some extra spice and hype words, especially during Tally. For those who closely follow her also understood the On The Ground line change 👀👀 and it only made the performance even more perfect. All in all, she was great in every aspect and she was enjoying herself and making sure the audience is always entertained too. Rosé is really consistent so it's not surprising, but locals who went to Coachella were charmed by her and it proves that her praise is not due to biasness, but because Rosé is phenomenal.

I went wknd2 and Lisa absolutely slayedddddddddddddddd her solo. Her dancing ability is crazyyyyyy good!!!! Watching the videos doesn't compare at all to seeing it up close live. Jennie was definitely distracted tho I think the heat was getting to her because it was crazy hot and all the lights and smoke probably made it 10x worse. She seemed to be sweating the most too. Jisoos solo was super cute and sweet, also the crowd screamed the loudest for her. Rosé was 100% giving vocals and THE MIC was ON!
Lisa and her team knows her limits. That's exactly why her stages main focus was her intro + various dances + using her being a charismatic and consistent performer to the fullest = most entertaining. Honestly they played their hand the best and even with average talent Lisa comes out on top. Whoever was behind the idea of her stage is super smart and knows their client well , if it was Lisa giving the ideas then that's even cooler .

I think ppl really don’t understand how hard it is to perform. Like you have to entertain the crowd, sing and also dance; when so many things are expected one of these features of the performance has to be compromised. You can’t sing the ENTIRE song and dance like Lisa at the same time, its not humanly possible, similarly you can’t dance amazingly and still slay vocals like rosè. One of those aspects of a performance always has to be undermined, especially with solo performances. I think Idols are so under-appreciated for their efforts. Have u ever seen an American artist dance at coachella? No, cause its just not humanly possible. That’s why BlackPink works so well as a group, because each member brings their talent in the respective aspects of their performance. Dance, vocals, visuals, stage presence and charisma.

It amazes me how they even managed to change her hairstyle from wavy hair to pigtails and braids in just 5 minutes. I think some people are forgetting that Jisoo had to prepare her solo while still being on tour and rehearsing for coachella as well. She deserves credit. I'm not surprised seeing her solo stage not having any changes, cause the girl barely had any time to breathe. I went wknd2 and Lisa absolutely slayedddddddddddddddd her solo. Her dancing ability is crazyyyyyy good!!!! Watching the videos doesn't compare at all to seeing it up close live. Jennie was definitely distracted tho I think the heat was getting to her because it was crazy hot and all the lights and smoke probably made it 10x worse. She seemed to be sweating the most too. Jisoos solo was super cute and sweet, also the crowd screamed the loudest for her. Rosé was 100% giving vocals and THE MIC was ON!

Lisa and her team knows her limits. That's exactly why her stages main focus was her intro + various dances + using her being a charismatic and consistent performer to the fullest = most entertaining. Honestly they played their hand the best and even with average talent Lisa comes out on top. Whoever was behind the idea of her stage is super smart and knows their client well , if it was Lisa giving the ideas then that's even cooler .

I think ppl really don’t understand how hard it is to perform. Like you have to entertain the crowd, sing and also dance; when so many things are expected one of these features of the performance has to be compromised. You can’t sing the ENTIRE song and dance like Lisa at the same time, its not humanly possible, similarly you can’t dance amazingly and still slay vocals like rosè. One of those aspects of a performance always has to be undermined, especially with solo performances. I think Idols are so under-appreciated for their efforts. Have u ever seen an American artist dance at coachella? No, cause its just not humanly possible. That’s why BlackPink works so well as a group, because each member brings their talent in the respective aspects of their performance. Dance, vocals, visuals, stage presence and charisma.
And because it's humanly impossible then just stop dancing like crazy and give a real music show. It's overdemanding it will kill these idols someday. But fans don't seem to bother that much.

I just want to hear Lisa actually singing that “dolla bills” part while just standing still, just that part, cuz I’m pretty sure she can’t and dancing has nothing to do with it. And the second lvl of difficulty would be to rap and sing the whole thing without backtrack and dancing. Guess what - she won’t be able to. She just can’t do that live in one piece without the backtrack and postproduction or sounding terrible in the process, so of course she had to compensate it by dancing or “performing” as you say.
@@MeryKeit u forget that being an idol means u have to ENTERTAIN. The industry SHOULD be about talent but its not, its about money, power and popularity. So, the more u entertain, whatever that may encompass, the more u sell. Yeah, maybe she cant sing, maybe she actually doesn’t have a good enough voice to sing without the backing track, but there’s a reason she’s a celebrity and not everyone with a ‘good’ voice isnt. She doesn’t have to be the best at singing as long as she can compensate with another talent aka dancing. She can still put on a show. If being a an idol ONLY revolved around vocals, there woudnt be many kpop groups or idols. So, yeah maybe she cant sing, but unfortunately talent has nothing to do with performance in the world we live in now.

I have a love hate relationship with Rosie.Sometimes I love her voice,other times it sounds so PAINFUL and whiny.She seems to actually live music unlike some of the other members,but other times she’ll half ass it…
this right here. she's my bias but she often disappoints me especially in recent years with her sloppy performances on tour. her occasional lipping doesn't help. and the bare minimum of her solos is infuriating when we know she can do better. the only area she's improving in is vocals but she's definitely not a great singer and is still a tad inconsistent. after a decade of training - being an idol you'd expect so much more from her and the rest.
