What most people don’t know is, plastic surgery in SK is relatively cheap. Cheaper than your 1 semester tuition.
It's not that cheap, in Europe prices are the same. It's just that in Korea It's really affordable, and you can pay on credit if you don't have much money. Also, the surgery clinics are literally everywhere. You can book an operation, and when it's done, you stay in clonic for a few hours and go home. It's so simple and common there. I have done nose surgery (because i couldn't breathe properly), and my doctor was like,'You can go back to work after surgery is done' 💀

Look at strictly medical nose jobs before and after. None of them get a small upturned button nose. The nose looks the same if anything it just looks staight from the front or if the dorsal hump causes problems it might be straight from the side too. But not upturned. And it's ok to admit it. Nayeon is not a bad person for adding a cosmetic procedure onto the medical one. Many people do that. I would too xD

She obviously has the most work done in Twice but still hasn't reached the uncanny valley luckily. Her face isn't everybody's cup of tea, but those who like it reallyyyy like it. There's no in between. From what i've seen statistically, she's either ugly or drop-dead gorgeous to people beholding her for the first time.

About the teeth Chaeyoung said that she should remain her teeth till 28 years old because the fans love it, Nayeon was planning on fixing her teeth a long time ago but didn't because of her promise to Chaeyoung. Now that she reached 28 years old she decided to get her bucked teeth fixed more related for her over all health than appearance. Having a buck teeth for a long time is not good, it can cause food debris stuck on her lateral incisors which is not good and can cause caries, Also Buck teeth causes Gum Laceration wherein with a class 1 bite she is either Biting the Mucous membrane of her mouth or Her gums with her teeth which can cause a wound or what you call a Mouth sore or ulcer which is white in color and very annoying, Itchy or Painful. Also a Buck teeth as you grow can change the position of your Jaw which can cause Temporo Mandibular Joint displacement and can be very painful as it can cause the buccinator muscles to be stressed, Worse is it can cause what you call a locked Jaw in the event that she yawns. Another problem with having Buck teeth is that when she grows around the age of 40s or 50s her lips would shrink and her teeth would be always out which you can see on old Grandmas who haven't checked or done anything on their teeth to have the proper bite, As you see the problem with that an aging is that she would always be salivating or drooling outside her mouth if she continued with that buck teeth up to old age. A lot of western old people are actually like that specially those on the Rural areas. Most of the old rednecks are like that. That's why the new generation of rednecks learned how to visit their dentist and the benefits they get for having a proper and good bite specially that they enjoy Very tough foods like Deer Meat or Bear Meat.

Nayeon’s cosmetic surgeries are the most frustrating ones I’ve ever seen. Especially the front teeth. She got rid of the most “signature” part of her image. That is so unwise in my opinion. It’s just not a good thing for a celebrity/idol to make herself less unique and less memorable. Nayeon is my favourite twice member and I can only wish her good luck.
i think it may just mainly be the video cuz in other pics and vids her teeth do look cleaned up but she still has her bunny teeth. and tbf it doesn't drastically change her face anyway and she's at a stage where it doesn't matter. she's already a huge name. she's not currently building an image and she never said she wanted to be known simply for her features. it can help fs but she doesn't have to hold back on what she wants just bc others might not vibe. her face, her teeth. also think it's worth noting that alot of the time teeth work is needed. it looks cute but it could easily cause her discomfort. i would rather she be healthy and happy. she's a grown woman after all. her face is still her face, she just added to her looks to get the vibe she wants. she just looks more mature and elegant.
Fixing teeths is not plastic surgery. In my country almost everyone has fixed their teeth and the health insurence even pays for some of it, but not stuff like veeners tho. Almost everyone in my class plus me have had braces.
Do you know how hard it is to live with bunny teeth? My friends had it too and it was horrible. Bunny teeth can cause health problems. So if you’re a real Nayeon Stan, you shouldn’t be frustrated that she is taking care of her health

As for her teeth, as far as she did it for herself and not because of the pressure of something or someone else then that's fine. As long as she's happy and satisfied, Afterall its her body and her choice. With or without the bunny teeth, she's still the same person. Nothing's changed.
I do think ppl overreacted about it in general like she was a different personal all of a sudden. She looked great in her recent interviews and was her bright self like in the kelly clarkson show.

Nayeon didn't have to do this, and it's very sad that she (and/or JYPE) decided to do this. This is the ugly side of K-pop. If you compare Nayeon's face over the years, all her characteristic traits are gradually disappearing, and what's left is a polished bland generic product for global marketing purposes, not an actual person.

She did NOT change her teeth because of dental hygiene. I have food stuck to my teeth after every single meal. So I use a toothpick. I also brush my teeth once in a while. No big deal. Never have I wanted to change the whole apperance of my face because of it.

Wasn't she supposed to debut in another group before sixteen? It makes sense that she's gotten a nose job before sixteen. And even if it isn't true, a lot of people can get nose jobs even if they're not becoming an idol. I think that the conspiracy theory that you made doesn't make sense at all 🕴

In the interview with Kelly Clarkson, Nayeons smile isn’t as bad as in this video. Like it looks natural but I did notice a difference. I’ll miss her old smile but she’s still very beautiful.

Um it’s pretty normal for ppl of all ages to get surgery in Korea💀 (sad reality). There are stories of kids doing good in school as an incentive to get surgery as a birthday present when they’re old enough. Celebrity or not, surgery is a part of the environment over there. Just wanted to correct u on that bit, whether the company was the one who egged her on to get it, or if her family or her were already planning we don’t know.

Nayeon was supposed to be the visual of 6mix, the girl group JYP was supposed to debut after MISS A and before TWICE. It didn't push through though. If you watched sixteen, then you would know that. JYP already have some girls in mind that he wanted to be a part of TWICE but things progressed differently from what he initially planned or wanted. He obviously wanted 3mix and Minyoung, along with Momo and Chaeyoung but he did not want or expect Momo to be eliminated, Minyoung to not perform well even though she was one of the strongest vocalist in that competition and for Tzuyu to be so popular amongst the general public. Your conspiracy has nothing to do with Nayeon's supposed surgery. And before TWICE, Nayeon was probably the most promoted trainee since she always appears in a lot of JYP artists' MV as the main girl.

I love my teeth, so it makes me sad that she's changed them. People making fun of a key feature of yours can make you feel insecure. Sometimes idols make it their personality to mock that one feature of another idol. It's sad. 4:10 you are naive to think they only get work done after or right before debut. Some may get procedures earlier than that. Also, some idols may get surgery before debut for reasons other than kpop. Their lives don't revolve around kpop. I never watched 16 but it feels plausible that JYPE had a good idea of who they wanted to debut. So maybe they gave them a memo?

The veneers make me sad. Not because of how it looks, but because it means she must've hated her teeth and all the attention on them all this time. It was the thing everyone always commented on, but I guess she secretly never liked it.
About her nose job, Nayeon, Jihyo, and JY along with 4 person was selected to start another group before twice but the group never debut. Maybe that's why Nayeon had a nose job before sixteen.
