I've been on them all so many times, but VelociCoaster has to be my #1 pick for Universal. Launches, the top hat, and that barrel roll. Brilliant, world-class coaster.
(Velocicoaster and Hulk are in the Islands of Adventure I believe). I’d have to say Velocicoaster #1 pick. The line is ridiculous, however it’s worth it. It’s really smooth and fast (I’d recommend hitting the Hulk before it, just to get used to the speed and upside-down parts). Secondly, the Hulk coaster. I’d say that both of them are tied but if I have to choose one, it’s the Velocicoaster. The Hulk is really fun and exciting with less story-telling (less waiting around). Also, if you have the express pass, you will definitely benefit for it on the Hulk because the Velocicoaster ride still takes about 2 hours to ride on it (EXPRESS). When I last went to the Universal in Orlando, I got it and I rode on the Hulk 9 times in about 2 hours (TIP: ask the person to wait until it comes back to ride in the first row!! Although you do have to wait longer, it’s totally worth it). I rode the Velocicoaster once in 2+ hours. The ride aspect of Velocicoaster is what gives it first place.
3rd place was the ET coaster!! (The ET and Jimmy Fallon were in the OG park). The ET rollercoaster was so sweet and brought back so many memories. One of my favorite aspects was how it took you into a fantasy world, and it smelled so strange but really good and how’d I imagine ET to smell like! The absolute bow on the top was how it wasn’t like the normal rollercoasters, but you were riding a bicycle (there were about 20, 3 columns, and maybe 6-7 rows?), and the bicycle was floating (it’s hard to describe, I’d highly suggest going on it if you ever go to Universal studios). On the bicycle, there were handlebars that my friend noticed were from the 80’s (they used to be into customizing bikes). The ET ride brings back so many memories, it is a beautiful ride. 😢
On the other side of the line, there’s the Jimmy Fallon ride(Race Around New York). I rode it once and boy was that enough for me. (No hate but I’m advising against going on it). It’s one of those 3d+glasses rides, which aren’t my favorite in the first place. There was about a 20 minute wait and once I got on, they had those horrible seatbelts where once you make them tighter, you can’t loosen/unbuckle them until the ride ends (I’m not plus-size, I was one of the smallest people riding it). That was the part that ruined it for me. Then, it started. It was pretty cool seeing the video. Halfway through, the video stopped and it went black (from my recollection). Turns out, somebody’s seatbelt was unbuckled 😅. It took about 10 minutes for them to troubleshoot that, with my seatbelt getting tighter and tighter. When they got the all clear sign, the video RESTARTED. We were about halfway done with it (when we land on the moon), and we had to go all the way back to the beginning. Overall, the Jimmy Fallon ride experience was horrible for me personally, but I’ll give them credit for the video quality and how it jumped out of the screen (3d).

All of them especially the OG Hulk Coaster and when Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge had the dueling feature enabled
I too rode the Original Hulk and Dueling Dragons in 09 but I heard the newer hulk runs faster than the original ever did with the Fresh Upgrades and Velocicoaster is Velocicoaster
the hulk would be more scary than the veloicoster didn't have the shoulder bars

I still remember we went to universal last summer, i geeked out at everything harry potter but before that, we went on mummy and i forgot about the launch. Scared the hell out of me 🤣
Fr- when i went in the mummy ride, and I was like oh this isn’t to bad in the first half, but when it started reaching to the launch I was like what is happening, and WOOSH the launch happended and I panicked screaming like I was about to die OH YEAH!!! I forgot to take off my glasses, they almost fell out 😢😂.
Went here back in 2017, the Hulk rollercoaster at night was next level 😎
Ngl, when I went to the hulk rollercoaster and was kinda scared. Like I barely was scared, ( I rode it when I was like 11 I am 14 rn) I didn’t really feel a lot of pain or discomfort. Like it was more TWisTtTtt then AaaaHhhH. - you know what I mean right, cause I really don’t know how to explain it 😅 like the rock it rollercoaster was more scary then the hulk, including the other rides. - im saying these items as a person who literally NEVER goes on rollercoasters, and trips like these, I usually don’t ever go on scary and high things because I’m scared of heights. 😂
The fact that I got back from Universal a few days ago and now I am getting so many things Universal; ads, videos, pictures… I love Universal so much 💙 I hope I never get tired of it, because it is such a fun place! That’s actually my fear, that one day I will grow out of it.

I went to Universal in September and I enjoyed every moment of the Rip Ride Rockit!
Fun fact: I almost lost my glasses on the Hulk! I was traumatized. Because of the glasses of course

Dueling dragons was just awesome. One of my all time favorite suspended coaster(s) ever. Hagrids is great, but there’s no comparison in terms of thrill level.

My favorite rides are also Velolcicoaster, Hagrid’s, and the Mummy. I also like Rip Ride Rocket, Escape from Gringotts, and The Forbidden Journey.
The wall part and alot of rip ride rockit always makes me think if i went on it and had my hands up i'd hit them and its terrifying , alot of the turny coasters do that too.

This video is great! I love watching coaster vids and living through them. I dont like coasters and the stomach in the throat they bring. But the one sort of coaster ill go on is forbidden journey. Its smooth enough and doesnt have a drop. Though i do have some arachniphobia and have to close my eyes at the spider part. Im mostly there for the shopping, food and theming.
The last time I went was like 2013 I think and I freaking loved the Mummy. Idk why but dark coasters are my favorite

I went on velocicoaster yesterday, it was the best roller coaster ever. So fast too. Recommend you ride it
Dr Doom and forbidden journey are most definetly not roller coasters.
Docketed doom is but forbidden journey basically is one
Dr Doom is a drop tower, and forbidden journey is a kuka arm ride system that can move 360 and full vertical rotation. The requirements for a roller coaster are it be/ atleast have one section which is gravity-powered, and travel on a track. @@123Raider

The version of the hulk ride from 1999 to 2016 was ok but the version from 2016 to present is fantastic
I’m not gonna lie, I went to this place for my birthday, (3 days ago) and I never got to get in. I’m also scared of roller coasters. So lucky me, I guess 😂

I didn't try those when we went there last Sept. But, based on the first three video, i guess I can try the velocicoaster.. I dunno if the video made it is fine with me, that it is exciting to try it.. But, it's a no for RIP.. I don't like too much high and sudden drop like you can really see it. When I see the first POV like it's going up already so slow, that's give me a no no...
And what did you use to film these rides

Those two coasters were known as "Dragon Challenge" or better known as "Dueling Dragons" before they changed the name. The sister coasters were torn down when they reached their end of life and Universal Orlando replaced it with "Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure."
