My friends and I planned a whole trip to Williamsburg just to ride Verbolten. We got our ride in, then it closed later that afternoon. Ended up riding Alpengeist 3 times instead. Btw I got goosebumps hearing that stock wind sound effect again in this vid, haha. It haunts you the whole ride, 2:10 had me geeking. (Also I know its a dark ride but I wish the lighting effects were brighter or they had some black-light thing going on, it would've been trippier, it's mostly just pitch black in there at all times)
i’m german and i don’t get the name of this coaster 😅😅 apparently it’s the adjective verboten mixed with english bolt, lol. i love the black forest here though so that’s pretty cool. my local park is phantasialand
@@cheesesticks8695 not the video audio the actual on ride audio, since 2017 has been pitched lower. Watch any original pov video from 2012-2015 and you can hear the difference
I rode it last year and it definitely feels like the lights inside are super dull/not working like they should? It was basically pitch dark the whole time until the drop track, like at 1:12 there's a bunch of lights but I feel like I didn't see any of that?
@@kameronharrington5478it depends on which theme your cart is on. Verbolten has 3 different themes, the one on the video is called “spirit” and it has the most effects, then there’s “wolf” and “storm” they barely have any effects. Overall all 3 themes have gone to crap over the last few years so
I love this ride. Its not often a rollercoaster is full of so many surprises.
Same! One of my favorites at Busch

I remember going on this ride and I was NOT prepared for that sudden drop in the dark part
Real
WOW THAT RIDE LOOKS FUN AS HELL!
It’s awesome!
I sat in that exact chair
You would think by now they would have added the effect in the shed before the ending.

I have ridden the Williams VA version of this and it’s a fun coaster.
There's only one version of the ride...well technically three.
Good lord the theming on this ride has downgraded over the years. Also am I the only one that noticed the audio got pitched lower than the original?
The audio seemed fine to me

You can't see anything.
They took most of the effects out.
