Riding candymodium at night is insane. Literally can’t see the track and the airtime hills catch you off-guard. Great way to close the night in the park
My first time i rode it i had my eyes closed the whole time not realizing it was worse 😂
I haven’t rode it at night yet, I’m going tmrro so hoping to get on at night

Agreed
It’s probably my favorite ride there! Is it really a lot different at night? Should I try it?
i actually love this guy. no matter what the ride is, he’s just like ‘ok guys here we go… wooooooahhhhh this is amazing yayyyy woop woop let’s gooo’ i love it 😂

@@grafftagzuk2297 I think the commentary is decent but looking at the rollercoaster is fun
@@grafftagzuk2297 shut up man
i love how he just screams for all the airtime on each ride, its hilarious, also this guy is a legend for giving commentary while on the ride.
He's having SO MUCH fun and I'm here for it
I love how much fun he has in every ride!
Agree! The commentary gets me every time - “twisty bit!” “Whee!”
Yep. He has such fun. He’s a silly boy.
“Yay tunnel I love the tunnel!” My favorite part

It’s pretty obviously forced for his audience
his happiness on these roller coasters just make my day.
He had me peeing myself with his reactions to the Wild Cat and Wild Mouse
I love all the coasters at hershey. They may not be record breaking but they're all fun and unique
WCR actually has the world's largest underflip. Just rode it today, and it is pretty fun.
@moodin3348 was it rough or smooth?
@@CloverOT It has been a while, so I don't remember it that well, but it was pretty smooth though.
@@CloverOT Having ridden it last week, it's very smooth but it flings you all over the place
To be honest they are not that unique, they all feel kind of samey!... They lack theming and other stuff, I know not every park can be Universal or Disney but a little theming wouldnt hurt the coasters!... SeaWorld Orlando takes the spot in uniqueness for me, theres not a lot of coasters but the ones there are, one you ride the waves standing up, other you fly through the air, theres the water rides, then theres the hyper coaster... Then one where you go back and forth trying to clear a top hat!... They are just unique every single one of them!
Due to a medical condition I no longer can enjoy my #1 thrill ride...but thanks to you this is about as close to getting on a rollercoaster I can get. Thank You so much for this video.. .it really took me back to the good ole days.... 🙏💯

Just curious what is that condition and what is your number one ride?
I'm also curious what your condition is
@@cccEngineerI think he has high blood pressure
Say what you want about this park having two hypers, what’s important is how good the rides are!
The two hypers are so different from each other too. Candymonium is smooth, graceful, and all about floater, and Skyrush is all about speed, intensity, and ejector
Cedar Point has 5 lol
But then again a lot of parks don’t have even 1
@@DoritoTime and killing you’re legs
Yea they are two hypers but they are completely different experiences
Tbh most parks have only a small ammount of hypers
When I went to Hershey Park in May 2022, the CandyModium was the only rollercoaster I went on, it was insane, the airtime hills, the sudden drops and fast rises is what got me off guard, best ride ever. Even though it was scary, I will go on it next time I come back
especially at night tho
Philly native here, I went to Hershey Park for the first time in the late 90s for my eighth birthday and it was my first amusement park ever. I remember staying at the Hershey hotel and meeting the Reese's cup mascot at breakfast, and going on the Comet with my dad, the first coaster I ever went on and for many years I was too afraid to go on the upside down ones. Finally in 8th grade my school took a graduation trip to the park and my best friend convinced me to go on Great Bear, which is now my favorite. Last year I returned to the park for the first time in a while to take my stepdaughter for a visit.
Went first time in ‘79. All they had was Comet, Looper and Trailblazer. It was one of the most magical experiences of my youth.
Born in 73, rode the Sooper Dooper Looper around 82-83, I was scared poopless. Fell in love with roller coasters for life. Mt parents bought me the t-shirt "I survived the Sooper Dooper Looper"
14:35 I can hear a bit of pain in the screams at this point 😂😂 great compilation Robb!

Trailblazer was my first roller coaster (from Hanover, PA). and I remember being really apprehensive cause I didn't think I would like roller coasters, and once we started moving, my dad kept saying how big the drop was going to be trying to freak me out, only for it to be a tame, smooth roller coaster. And after that, I went on to ride every roller coaster in the park every time I've gone back.
I have acrophobia, my parents are taking my friend and I to Hershey soon, and being autistic to top off my phobia, I'm watching this to prepare myself, you make me realize the rides truthfully arent long, and your positivity is infectious! Thank you, and wish me good luck!
The Great Bear's roar NEVER fails to give me chills - every single time.
Also - yes, the Trailblazer was my very first rollarcoster (from York, PA)☺The Comet was second.
Same! This is the coaster that got me into riding roller-coasters. (I'm from York too)
From Red Lion. For some reason my dad skipped the comet and took me on the SDL for my second. Trailblazer was first.
We went to Hersheypark about three years ago and the Wild Mouse is very deceiving. As we walked by it, it didn’t look like much, but once you get on and you take those turns, I was holding on for dear life thinking we’re heading right off the tracks. The photo they take captured my wife’s reaction which was absolutely hysterical and a must by pic. Love Hershey Park and can’t wait to go back again some day.
Is it made from actual chocolate?
It wasn’t deceiving I almost fell asleep
I don’t like the wild mouse it makes me sick lol
Yes yes yes to Wild Mouse. My dad loves all coasters but that one he is just like nope, can't do it.
I feel you man. Wild mouse's are way more intense than they look.
Trailblazer was the first tubular steel coaster I ever rode. The wood coaster at GwynnOak Park in Baltimore was my first coaster.
Nighthawk at Carowinds was my first rollercoaster
This is my home park. I grew up about five miles away from Hershey. As long as I can remember, my family went to Hersheypark. At that time Comet was the only roller coaster and so was my first. The Looper was the first looping coaster on the East coast. I was even a ride operator one summer! Big news: Wildcat is shutting down for good end of July 2022. Rumor has it that it will be getting the RMC treatment!! Look for it opening maybe next summer! Thank you for the videos!
what does RMC mean?
@@djk6297 Rocky Mountain Coasters- a roller coaster manufacturer. They take wooden coasters and use steel track to create hybrids.
@@bryanscollick8305 like making a wooden coaster have inversions? I've kind of seen that, though only in roller coaster tycoon
@@djk6297 okay so they make some other stuff but the main thing is the conversions and yes basically they just outfit the wooden coaster with steel tracks allowing for inversions and other elements that wooden coasters don’t allow
This is also my home park! The Comet is still my favorite wooden coaster. I remember Hershey as just the Comet, the Looper, and Trailblazer. When the Great Bear came, that was huge news. Such good times. The Wildcat needs a facelift - I can't ride it, it's so rough.
It makes me smile because this guy is so happy on every ride i love it.
Me too. I was listening for every weeeee
This was my childhood amusement park, having grown up in Mechanicsburg. I have fond memories of going back through the line to ride the Sooperdooperlooper over and over again. There were no trees around it back then, and now the trees are taller than the roller coaster!

Yeah I’m from Baltimore and we’d go every single yr in the early 80s until the 2000s….now me and my boys go a couple times per yr…it’s changed a ton, but ina good way…way more rides
Candymonium is just so relaxing, the hill doesn’t seem as high as it is and it’s just incredibly smooth I was about to fall asleep when I rode it! 😂
I’ve had a really stressful day because I let some icky negative people affect me and THIS made me smile!! Thanks for the mini vacay thrill ride!! 🤗
I love watching rollercoasters/not a fan of riding them..but the shear happiness you get from them made me smile through most of the video 👏🏽✌🏼

U are a fan of riding them
Your commentary and energy is a whole Mood! Love Hershey coasters and love your video!
This video actually helped me with my fear of rollercoasters !! Thank you for posting this

I'm not scared of rollercoasters, I'm just scared of how much pressure they put on you.
when u go down the drop u get the stomach feeling no matter what😳

Trailblazer was my first rollercoaster when I was little and still a good ride 🙂
This guy seems like one of the funnest people to go on a ride with. I'd love to go to an amusement park with him
I remember when Storm Runner ended the first time I rode it, the guy in front of me said to himself, "Vertical horsepower? More like vertical horseshit." Very succinct review.

There is nothing to be scared of on the rides. The drops aren’t as bad as they look the inversions are completely fine the speed is really fun
candymonium is so fun! absolutely insane! the 2nd drop is higher than skyrushes first drop. so amazing.

i just love how pure he is with commentating every ride.
As someone who absolutely hates the feeling of roller-coasters, Im extremely impressed with your ability to give such good commentary while being thwipped around like that
trailblazer will always be my favorite rollercoaster, its a good break from all the crazy rollercoasters and a pretty fun ride, i wish it was longer
I love rollercoasters and this is the first time I've ever seen ur channel & the commentary really makes me feel like I'm there irl & having fun it makes the experience so much better
14:41 - can personally attest that this subtle little bump in the Wildcat is so incredibly jarring and really gives you that flying-off-the-tracks feeling for a moment
i was on that ride too-and i Physically remember how it feels after a year-
prob the most "scary" part abt yeh whole ride
Bro your energy is infectious, keep it up! I had so much fun watching you have fun!
I remember going to Hersheypark 20yrs ago from Ireland and riding the Superdooperlooper, Wildcat and Sidewinder. Fun times!! ❤
Comet was my first ever roller coaster! It shook me up so bad I didn’t ride another for five years. Looking back, I’m sure I’d love it now! I need to revisit Hersheypark now that I’ve conquered my fear of roller coasters at King’s Island. Great video!!
Spent our first day at Hershey yesterday. Loved every ride. Thanks for posting this video. You helped me prepare for our trip
The commentary and joy in your vids are so contagious. I wish I could go to the parks with you!
Bucket List park. No doubt. 18:28 This shot that shows the color theme of the park and ride segments is awesome.
Trailblazer was one of my first rollercoasters. I used to be TERRIFIED of coasters, but now I am in love.
This video was great! Love the commentary. I don't do coasters so this is the closest I will get to riding one! We live close to hershey and I've always wondered what the coasters were like to ride. Thanks for making this video!
What a GREAT review! Thank You for this!
It’s cool because wildcat has RMC right now and opens in a week! Also, sidewidener is now jolly rancher remix and is a lot better themed. Love Hershey ;)
What I love most about Hersheypark is the coaster variety is amazing their is something for everybody
stormrunner, great bear, and Fahrenheit were the only ones i didn’t go on when i was there because stormrunner and great bear weren’t open. Thank you so much for this experience
Lightning racer is such an under-rated coaster! I love lightning racer and it was one of my first coasters that I rode! Hoping it will stick around for many many many years to come!
Never change, Robb. Your commentary makes the videos.

I've been on the candymonium and the great bear yesterday. 11/10 love it!
Candymonium is my very first coaster. It was crazy. I also went on wildmouse and lafftrack, lafftrack was probably my fav ride in the whole park because it’s really fun and so much things to look at. I hate how long the line is though.
Grew up in central PA but my dad had a work picnic every summer at Hershey so we got to tag along, indeed Trailblazer was my first coaster because I was terrified of them and he wanted to encourage me to ride the others.
Immediately after we did the SuperDooperLooper, which pulled my head to the floor in the loop 🤣 thankfully I was still hooked and now look forward to one day going back to experience the Comet, which to me is an example of "perfect, no notes" as a classic wooden coaster.
(Thanks for the recordings!)
Comet was my first "adult" roller coaster. I've been hooked on coasters ever since :).
I think my first adult coaster was Predator at Darian Lake
The joy in his voice
I never rode Wildcat in its original form, but locals told me it was stupid rough! I rode it after the RMC treatment and it was glass smooth!
Awesome! I'm stuck with a boot on my foot so thank you for the virtual rides! You made it really fun. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Love watching you Robb .you do a wonderful commentary on any park awesome dude
That first drop on Great Bear reminds me of Nemesis with the way it curves off and dives down
I went on skyrush and BOY is it exhilarating! It was my first ever "big coaster". It was so fast, I felt myself lifting out of my seat a little on the drop!
Great POV's! Fahrenheit was my favorite 🤩
Wow, Hershey park has a lot of good roller coasters!
Wild Mouse proves you don't have to build a 300ft B&M hyper to have a great ride experience. It's small, simple, but the speed and laterals along with some genuinely great ejector make for a friggin awesome time, even if it's short.
Don't make the mistake of skipping the smaller rides, guys!
We had something similar at Busch gardens and it was the scariest experience on any roller coaster 🎢 I have ever had. Mentally I thought was going off the track.
Dude, I love wild mouse so much, I rode it three times in one day, it’s that much fun.
It’s a great ride, but when I was younger it was a bad experience for me. I was like seven at the time and was very short and my dad is very tall. So the seat was not secured. When we went on the turn I slid off the seat but my dad caught me.
Yeah wild mouse is ok but it doesn’t have ejector lmao
I just tried the Great Bear Ride, it was AMAZING, I faced my fear! Be careful if your wearing a hat or glasses though, they can come off. My glasses came off and I caught them just in time. Overall review, 8.5/10. Would try again!
I could feel his joy - how wonderful. I need to save this video and watch it if I ever feel sad.
Storm Runner has to be my FAVORITE ride in this park, and among my favorite rides like EVER! I honestly wish I could say I even mildly like Sky Rush...but those restraints are just the worst thing Intamin could have ever imagined. I am honestly jealous of people who don't find them painful...I have tried just about everything I can think of to keep the restraint from crushing my legs, but that first drop ALWAYS pushes it down so damn far that my legs' circulation not only feels cut off, but the air time is actually so painful because the restraints feel like they're actually going to cut your legs off. I know they supposedly changed the restraints after the first year, but I have noticed NO difference! Wahh
Hold your legs back tight under the seat to prevent the airtime from pulling you up and into the restraint so much
fr though 😭😭 I was just there yesterday and the restraints on skyrush really made the ride unenjoyable
I was there yesterday and my thigh was in pain my friends thigh also hurt for hours later..
More like Thigh Crush. Lmfao.
The Comet was my first roller coaster. It was at Crystal Beach on Lake Erie in Ontario. It's so cool to see it again!
This was so much fun to watch!
I loved this video and commentary! Thanks for giving the history of the rides.
Glad you decided to choose my home park for this kind of video. And thanks for including their kiddie coaster for this or I would've called this video incomplete.
I’m going to Hershey Park in two days for the first time ever!! I’m so excited!! I’m trying to get over my fear of going upside down on rides and hopefully this trip will finally set me free from that phobia!

I LOVE Hershey park because it’s like never crowded
I don’t know what this guy does with his videos, but they are amazing!
I went there in 2013 and I saw the hershey chocolate factory there. I love how the height requirements use different Hershey style candy. If I can remember correctly, it's hershey miniature for 36 inches, hershey's kisses for 42 inches, Hershey Bar for 48 inches, Twizzlers for 54 inches, and Jolly Ranchers for 60 inches.
going today for the first time, can’t wait to ride these coasters!
Trailblazer was my first!! I rode it with a bunch of my cousins, and it was so much fun :D
Imagine being in the same car on the roller coaster as this guy
Robb, you always make me laugh!
One of my favorite Hershey park memories was on the Trail Blazer. It was in the 80's and the park was closing soon so my parents told us to pick our last ride to go on and we all said trail Blazer. We got there and to our surprise no line we all got in our seat and off we went. When we pulled back into the station still no line so my dad yells one more time and they sent us straight threw! No lie we rode 4 times straight back to back never exiting our seats it was awesome and I have never forgotten that day. The best part is ticket price back then was like 10$ for adults and 8$ for kids.
I watched every ride and laughed through each one with u thanks.
I’m going to universal for the first time in a month! April 14th and I’m so excited but I don’t wanna spoil the rides so I’m watching povs from other theme parks to tie me over for now
Man gotta love it that you make Candy Moniam look like a baby ride
I’ve never been there, but I’ll have to go. I love how so many rides are close to each other, or actually pass through one another.
2:22 Horse of fire awesomeness!😂
I love it when he said weeeeee🤣
I went to HersheyPark yesterday! Candymonium was my first ride! I did it like 200 times! I did all the others as well! It was AWESOME! loved this place. I would definitely recommend it the only problem is the Lines. If you get a fast pass it’s not that bad. I believe the one that lets you go on it once and if you want to go on it again you have to wait in a long line I believe that’s like $150 if you want to do it as many times as you want it is about $210. So for two people it would be about $420
Listening to you enjoy life, makes my soul happy 😊.
