    Hard to believe 3 people in a row said glock 44 first I had one and it was jamming 3 Times a mag sold it got tx22 and been happy since tx22 feels great and miles more reliable at least in my own experience and the m&p I don't have experience in besides in 9mm

    • @prairiestatepatriots
      @prairiestatepatriots  Před rokem

      The M&P 22 feels nothing like the 9mm. I didnt like it at all. This glock was also well broken in before we did this video. The owner said after he had shot about 1,000 rounds through it he stopped having issues. My biggest pet peeve with the taurus is the closed top on the slide. After did this, I stripped it down to clean it and after 220 rounds it had ALOT of carbon build up on the breach face. It was still enjoyable to shoot though. Thank you for watching!

    • @prairiestatepatriots
      @prairiestatepatriots  Před rokem +2

      That seems to be the ongoing opinion but as we stated in the video, the Glock we shot wasn't new. The owner even told us that when he initially got it he had alot of issues with it. But after shooting ALOT of rounds through it and breaking it in he didn't have anymore problems. I was definitely surprised by the Taurus. I really didn't expect much from it but was kind of blown away. It was very comfortable in the hand.

    Nice video! As far as suggestions, maybe someone could sit down with each pistol and disassemble and reassemble critiquing them. Also maybe to have done a direct comparison with the G19 vs G44, while the G44 was apart would have been nice. Maybe instead of music through the first part, you could talk about each pistol between each magazine. Also the new person was shaking quite a bit, nervousness? Who did the music? Sounded a lot like Satriani. Thanks

    meh... interesting personal opinions and nice shooting, but anyone can pick apart a perfectly good gun for lots of reasons. I shot them all in six months of rental testing before I settled on the M&P .22 Compact. yeah the trigger is a bit long, but it didn't affect my shooting, and it ate every brand I put i it. The Glock did not. The Ruger SR-22 has a backwards safety from what I'm used to, the H&K did not like some ammo either. The Taurus jammed. Only the S&W did not fail, even when very hot and dirty - no matter what ammo I used.
    I think all the guns are pretty darned good, actually. It's the ammo that can suck with .22LR. Even very good ammo like CCi can have squibs and missing primer. It's the gun that can handle it that counts, and I went with the M&P. So, that's my persoanl anecdotal opinion - as good as any, I guess.

    great to see 22lr reviews. I have a program i use. Ill shoot 100 rounds of 9mm or whatever centerfire round im drilling with. and when thats done ill shoot as much 22lr as i want to work on sight alignment and trigger squeeze. I used to do it to save money but now i do it cause its fun. seems to me that little 22 is accurate out to a longer range than the 9 or 40 or 45.

  • @randyrush9856
    @randyrush9856 Před rokem +4

    Personally, from my range experience with the three, I prefer the Taurus, because of the grip comfort in my hand, the trigger, and the 16+1 round count. It's a very good pistol. Second place would have to go to the Glock, but why isn't Glock producing magazines that hold more rounds? There is no excuse for it. I also never have liked the angle of the Glock grips. They have never appealed to me, they feel awkward. Third place would have to go to the S&W, because of the long squishy trigger, narrow grip with not enough texturing. It too, has only a ten round capacity, although, more understandable for It's narrow compact size than the Glock, but look at the Keltec P17! If Keltec can do it, then S&W has no excuse.

    • @prairiestatepatriots
      @prairiestatepatriots  Před rokem +1

      The grip on the Taurus was very comfortable. I agree about the Glock magazine capacity as well. And yes, the trigger on the S&W was definitely a deal breaker for me. I believe S&W makes great firearms, but this one just did not fit the bill for me. Thank you for watching!

      Ya, the TX22 is a great gun if you want to educate someone on how to check for jams and learn the "what to do if it don't go bang". Rented a couple at the gane when I decided to use one to teach the kids to shoot.... Was horrible. Got the M&P instead, as I hate how Glocks feel in the hand.

      The Glock .44 is a finicky pistol that’s 10 rounds of boring b.s. ….. It cost almost $150 more than the Taurus tx.22 …. You get 16 rounds in the tx.22 …. I believe the tx.22 is the best pistol Taurus makes….. Price and capacity makes the Taurus a better value IMO. These three guys obviously Glock fan boys…. Which is cool because I love em too… I don’t think you can just always say “ Glock is the Best”! It just simply isn’t the case anymore… Thanks for the video.👍
