We discuss current inside the waistband holster kydex holster belt clip options like the ulticlip and discrete carry concepts belt clips. If you have any questions you can find us at blacksmithtactical.com
I watched this video like 10 times before I ordered my dcc clips, currently using the rcs clips. Installed the dcc clips and I will say, very strong, very good quality, very nice design. I personally still went back to the rcs clips after about a week of use. The dcc clips are on there way to fraying my kore essentials belt (amazing quality gun belt). Also, they are no easy task to put on and remove. The tips of my fingers are paying for it after just install in the morning, removal after the work day, and some training at night. I am also a mechanic, so my hands see there fair share of abuse during the day. I can handle quite a bit of “pain” in the hands for something beneficial, but the rcs clips are easy to put on, hold tight, and do the job perfectly. Just my 2c for the people on here who were looking to upgrade.
@@blacksmithtactical scratch everything I said, after using them for a couple weeks they broke in wonderfully, and I cannot go back to a plastic clip. Leaving my above comment to show that once they break in, and once you get used to them, there is no substitute.
Which discreet concept carry clips will fit my iwb holster made of kydex material? There are many versions. I need for 1.5 inch belt . Also will they work without a belt too?
@@deepb249I think he meant the clip style. If it's like the two on the right a single clip like the ones on the left isn't going to fit; and vice versa. I've never used the DCC or ulti-clip style but the larger plastic (FOMI) style clip has never let me down.
There is a lot of variables that enter into that situation like belt options, carry position, ride height etc. If you have a holster with adjustable ride height then lowering the ride height is the easiest way to solve that problem. You can also add a concealment wedge to your holster that could help to by pushing the grip closer to your body.
@@blacksmithtactical Thanks for the points, it seems to be the way I am headed. I've done all other things: Belt is rigid vertically but flexible horizontally (kore belt), I have the clip at the highest spot possible (so gun sits lower), and tried different placements. I am trying a wedge next! I think this should fix it. My first subcompact, so this issue is new. I used to carry a 5" MP or a 1911 commander.
I LOOKED FOR 20 MINUTES FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS! THANK YOU!!!

The DCC clips are a love or hate thing. They are by far the most secure and durable belt clip but can be a hassle to come on and off.

Also, my kore belt is as strong as ever, and hasn’t frayed anymore than the small amount the first day I started using the dcc clips.
Thanks for the update, I wear (and love) my Kore belt and had the same concerns…ordered 2 clips today!
No belt wear in 5 years with the same belt and SAME PAIR of Discreet Carry Concepts clips which still hold strong as the day they were installed.
DCC are by far my fav. Low profile, indestructible and they keep the holster planted.
Can the DCC Mod 4 1.5” clip be used without a belt too? Or just their behind the belt version?
What about proper length for varying belt widths.?
I had an ulticlip but i kept pulling the holster off my body with the gun when i drew so i got rid of it
Excellent informative video thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
When yal going to carry the ulti tuck
Yo blacksmith tactical whats up

It really depends on which iwb kydex holster you have.

I have an Alien Gear IWB . can i use any of these clips to get a LOWER ride height?
Since I don’t know what the hole pattern for their holsters is I can’t answer this. I would reach out to them
What’s the best option if you want to clamp on to your pants instead of belt ?
Probably the ulticlip
What would be the best option if you have some belly and edc a short

Can I wear the ulticlip on a belt too?
The Ulticlip xl can but none of the other Ulticlips can be used with a belt. They can be worn behind the belt but not clipped onto the belt.
Who makes the first one???
Raven concealment
Can you use it for Psa dagger?
We offer all of these clips on our holster line and we offer our full line for the psa dagger.
@@blacksmithtacticalperfect do you know where I could find a link or what to look up exactly?
Name of the 2nd clip please
Discreet carry concepts mod 4 universal.
Never understood the idea of putting a light colored logo on a black belt clip….
We don’t get an option for color it’s how fiber lasers react to the polymer in the belt clip.
Monoblock > everything else
Until you try tuckable clips.
My we the people holster had that thick plastic clip it broke
Then they give you one replacement. After that, you have to buy them.
