Great video. Just had my rear passenger start humming like crazy. I thought wheel bearing and so did Les Schwab, so hopefully I'm on the right track? Thanks for the video!
Sounds GR8 🎉🎉🎉
Nice video, I'm sure it will help. How can you tell if the wheel bearing is broken? Or what sound did it makes?
Rear Wheel Hub Bolts Torque Specs: 96 ft-lbs
Rear Axle Nut Torque Specs: 118 ft-lbs
Rear Caliper Bracket Torque Specs : 125 ft-lbs
Wheel Torque Specs: 100 ft-lbs
Not "hammer everything on with a 800-ft lb impact because you're too lazy to use a torque wrench".
You said the lower ball joint takes a 13/16 wrench. I thought all the fasteners in the Corvette were now metric. Is that 13/16 perhaps really a 21 mm and you just didn't have the 21 mm socket or wrench? Looking at your tool assortment and obvious experience, I find it difficult to imagine not having a 21 mm. Thanks for the video.
Thank you Great video!
Im trying to diagnose a vibration in my recently imported C5 into Australia. Found rear passenger wheel has movement in the 9-3 o'clock position. (None in the 12-6 position ). Im thinking wheel bearing or tie rod end?
I’m thinking you should put the stock calipers and rotors you took off the front ,and put them on the rear?
Hey that’s not a bad idea. I may just look into that. Appreciate it, I’ll let you know how that turns out.
Nice
Thanks
Will you be willing to work on my c5 vette, oil pressure sensor
