Very well-done video and great explanations! I need to replace my C6 ball joints. This video gives me the know-how and confidence I can do this myself.

Incredible video man! I just bought a set of Bilstein shocks, new wheel bearings, lowering bolts, stainless steel brake lines and a pair of new sway bar end links. Since I have to pretty much remove everything in order to get to the wheel bearings got me thinking to replace the ball joints and this video made it look like a breeze. Well done and thank you for explaining everything.

I just replaced the lower ball joints on my 03 Z last night. I was raising the ride height a smidge via my coil overs. Didn't remove the control arms from the car. Used a breaker bar to remove & install. Went like buttah! I just needed the wife's assistance (only cost me a take out pizza) on install to hold the press and receiver together over the control arm while I supported, lined up and snugged the tool.
Probably the best, and heaviest tool I got from HF. Thanks for your videos.

im doing this next week. I was thinking it would be easier to leave the lower control arms on the car. Easier to loosen everything up too before you remove the top arm to swing it down.

Good call on the HF ball joint separator. Some trimming may be needed to the fork to fit well enough but it was a good time saver for cheap $15 and no damage to any control arms.

Once I have Jasmine up in the air, I want a complete bushing, ball joint and wheel hub replacement at one time. Love driving my C5 and want to minimize the down time. Great job Chris. You and a couple others offer up so much info that save guys like me time and valuable money. C5 parts not cheap to replace if you break something not made any more. Again thanks alot. God bless.
