Thanks for the video! I just did this job over the weekend and watched this video before I started to get a head start. Having finished the job, I learned a few things that I hope helps someone:

RockAuto had the ball joints in stock and were less expensive than Amazon. Quick delivery too.

I ordered the ball press kit from the link supplied by @Poweredby8Racing from Amazon on a Monday and by Friday it still hadn’t shipped yet. I tried my luck with the rental tool from my local O’Reillys auto parts and it ended up working out great. I didn’t need the additional spacer that @Poweredby8Racing uses on the lower control arms in this video. It pressed out all the way with the basic kit. If you are doing this job and have a O’Reillys nearby, rent their press kit part #67045.

I did the lowers while they were on the car and attached to the suspension. That was easier than having them off as it was like I had an extra set of hands holding them steady. Note the car was on a lift, wouldn’t work as well on the ground or on jacks.

The tolerances must have been different on my lower arms than in this video. Mine were very tight. The old ball joints came out easily with an impact gun but getting them in was impossible. I ended up doing them by hand with a breaker bar and they slid right in. I couldn’t get them to go in straight with the impact gun. I wasted a lot of time trying. I’d recommend just doing it by hand.

Not sure, sometimes rental kits are incomplete or different. So not sure.

Have to ask, why buy the same part that wore out? Upgrade to Moog with a zerk grease fitting and never worry about it again.

OEM work well and have many track miles on them. My main track is Sebring and it beats the heck out of everything.

Moog isn't an upgrade. But I'd wonder if you couldn't find the front uppers would mixing and matching be alright?

At 7:50 time I give both part numbers. There Ian only two part numbers. The uppers are all the same part numbers.
The bottoms are all the same part numbers. Front and rear do not matter , only upper and lower.

@@Poweredby8Racing right, I'm just not sure which one goes in the rear. One is like $20 for 19329420.
Then 19186956 is like $50-$70. Which one would I need x4 of? If that makes better sense. I really appreciate the help. Thanks!

      19186956 is the lower
      19329420 is the upper

So I have gotten the ball joints out without issue and am good there. I am having one heck of a time pressing them in though. They just don’t want to go in straight at all. The last attempt chewed up the inside ring of the control arm and I am thinking I may have to enlist a shop to help out here.
