I own a Pinarello F12, the bike is flat out fast and handles like nothing else. All these bikes are fine machines, for me I love the Pinarello looks all the way back the Think 2. You strip off the paint (maybe not the Cervélo in this group) and it is difficult to tell them apart. That will never be the case with Pinarello.

it wasn't long ago that 28mm tyres were regarded as super wide, massive, gigantic and only used in winter rides. I ditched 25mm for 28mm back around 2017. The difference in comfort was easily noticable and being more comfortable especially on longer rides led to better performance too.

You can get a Pinarello F5 with 105 di2 for the price of a Dogma F frame. Yes it is lower grade carbon but do you need Dogma levels?
I bought the F7 with Ultegra Di2 and upgraded the wheels to Zipp 404 and the tires to Vittoria Corsa Pro's. In total the bike costs about 7300 like this if you can get a good deal. With Assioma power meter pedals, two elite bottle cages and camelbak bottles, garmin mount and garmin 840 the bikes comes in complete at 8.5 kilos. Not heavy by no means. Take out the pedals and all other stuff easily a 7.5 kilo bike.
So the new F series from Pinarello is the value for money bike. It is slightly cheaper than a non s-works sl7 with similar equipment and any s5 by a large margin.

    Interesting comparison..
All 4 of these bikes are VERY focused, similar ..yet different
The takeaway at the end of the video encapsulates the state of the bike industry..
All 4 bikes are PURE RACE bikes
Very few consumers for these bikes could tolerate the huge compromises of lack of comfort , minimal performance gains , especially at the OUTRAGEOUS prices they command
As stated too here , 99% of consumers riders can get the performance parameters that suit their needs with bikes that are half or a third of the cost...which is still...OUTRAGEOUS
There is a very strong market demand in the 2nd hand market for lightly used , NOS road bikes that provide a SUPERB alternative.
If you shop well as I have , one can find these bikes , components at a fraction of what they cost NEW as well as less then a mediocre NEW bike
I have purchased numerous NOS or lightly used HYPER bikes that were the best of their generation s
All of them provide SUPERB performance parameters, quality and most importantly..PURE rider satisfaction, feed back , that the majority of current GEN bikes are lacking
The costs are also substantially less too
    Bottom line
    EXCELLENT alternative

For an average rider like me, spending 10.000 pounds or more for a bike is not very smart. I understand for some people that is not a lot of money, but for most of us it is. On the other hand, like every road bike rider, I too can see the appeal to ride a bike that win the stage or indeed the tour. I think it is partly to do with "identifying" ourselves with pro-riders. For me, I ride Specialized Tarmac as someone who likes climbing. I think it does fantastic job on that.

You can also 3D print titanium to any aero shape. If titanium 3D printing manufacturing technology improves further and lowers cost in the future. We might see it rival carbon fiber frames.

Having said that, my bike is a 2021 Giant TCR Advanced SL, rim brake with Ultegra R8000, Mavic Cosmic SL 45 Wheels, Continental GP5000 clincer tires, 3T Aeronova bars and Garmin Rally XC200 pedals. Took me 2 years to build and...afford. Love that toy of mine.
