To Fan y Big from Blaen-y-glyn | Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons

23rd May 2023. Starting at Blaen-y-glyn car park we take the steep climb past the waterfalls up to the ridge, we then follow the route along Craig y Fan Ddu, Craig Fan Las, Bwlch y Ddwyallt, Craig Cwareli and Craig Cwmoergwm to Fan y Big. We then returned along Craig Cwmoergwm and turned across the open moreland of Gwaun Cerrig Llwydion rejoining the ridge Craig y Fan Ddu before the walk down to the car park.

It's a tough start on that walk, with some good views of waterfalls on the way up. Didn't head for the crash site on that visit, but filmed it on the Carn Pica Video.
