    Pen y Fan, Fan Brycheiniog, Fan Fawr, Fan Fechan, Fan Nedd, Fan Llia, Fan Gyhirych, Fan y Big, Fan Hir etc etc
    Why call them anything other than "Bannau"?

    The fact that, within Wales itself, there are lots of people who want to carry on calling this place The Brecon Beacons should mean that the two alternatives are carried on together, respecting both traditions. Either that or one wins and one loses, leaving a lot of people feeling that their views don't count.

    Im confused. I thought the Brits were mad for protecting their culture. Why do they hate a country from their very own "union" not using its correct and original language?
    This has been quite a shocker seeing how awful the Welsh are treated.
