Decent time out dude. I've had the pleasure of it before and much of the Eastern Brecon Beacons - It's a Herefordshire thing much of the time - well has been since my youth. As Alan said down below there's some great routes nearby. He's a hive of info. I love to find the hidden gems - you certainly showed one there in Dinas Castle. Good on em for tackling the erosion to. Well, new to your channel - just subbed on account of the pro-active vid. All the best. Mark (Hereford)

Hiked this loop in December 2022, my first winter proper wild camp (made a short vid of my own too) thanks to this great video of yours. Fantastic footage and a great guide.
Ditto for your video of Llyn y Fan Fawr, which I hiked with my 9yo son in may last year, after coming across your vid.

Excellent walk through of a cracking walk. Dragons Back, also known as Y Grib. There are some classic circuits in the Blacks and a couple I would recommend for you is a walk from Llanbedr up onto Crug Hywel before doing Pen Cerrig Calch & Pen allt Mawr. Check out the boundary stones (some great tales on Mary Macnamara and her hubby online) before retracing your steps a lttle and heading down the eastern side of Cwm Banw before a lane walk over a mile or so to Llanbedr. Two quick others to check out would be Up onto Y Das before heading west to the trig on Rhos Dirion before turning right down the ridge for a few miles then turning right dwn onto Grwyn Fawr Res (Search the Royal abseiling story if you are looking for viewer info) then follow the narrow track back to the top of Y Das before descending back to the car. The Cats back taking in Hay Bluff and Offas Dyke path is another. atb Al

@@ohwhataknight No probles at all Chris, look forward to seeing your efforts - one other "must do" is the Llanbedr Horshoe - over the years I have done it 3 times, its a ridge walk of 17 miles.

    Hi Chris.
That was a great route. I’ve done the Brecon so many times (coupes of times a month) but never been to this part.
Was looking for a different route and this looks just the job 👍
