I dare you to make a musket blade
When you have only about a minute left in the video and the strength test begins, it means somebody's blade got snapped
We can almost predict the winner just by seeing the way they make the blade...
agreed, when the guy said he didn't have a big enough oven to give it even heating that was a big tell sign.
It also depends on if they have enough time to make 2 blades, or write a song about it, or light some fireworks... those guys usually win.
Your typical Maid or the fireball guy
Fact
LOL the one guy was literally like: Ima make my blade heavy and not as sharp.
Has he ever seen the show?
I liked it better when they used the ballistic dummies, it was more satisfying
Luigi true
Why not both?
@@hiteshlalwani8039 the materials for the dummies probably causes the price to spike depending on it's availability, so it's easier to use just animal corpses.
Luigi same
Probably more expensive.
Sabre: Snaps
Judge: “Well Steve... it looks like we have a problem here” 😂
Just here to hear my daily dose “IT WILL KEEEEL”
Keal
Me too
Keep keealing my dude
It will corona

He was sharpening the blade on a flat surface with the sharp edge directly towards him. If that blade caught he would be in trouble.
It would probably KEEL!
*slices himself in half
It weel cut!
Lol I saw that and came to see if anyone else did lol
Hey sometimes you got to throw safety out the window to do something well. Bladesmithing is not a hobby for those who are scared of getting hurt
@ Steve’s channel I understand sometimes taking little risks here and there but safety is always paramount. If you think hard enough about a situation you can normally find a better way to do it.
The kill test guy sees my crush smile:
"It WilL Keeel"
She will Kneeeeeel.
Doug
Keal
Marcaida
Nathan Torres stfu
6:05 bruh your blade couldn't even cut an apple, it landing on the floor did more damage than your blade
😂
A baseball bat would’ve cut more lmao
@@finnmartin7081 It will keel. By blunt force...
Just love how the cameraman got a shot of a very important good doggo being extra good 0:28
I love how nobody ever brings up the deer antler handle.... i don’t think they noticed
was probably in the actual cut of the episode.
IT WILL KEEL
Everyone: That's all I wanted to hear 😀
Not keel , keal
The winner looks like the master blacksmith in The Witcher 3 in novigrad, no wonder he won
True
This is a severely underrated comment
Haha
I see no dumplings soo...
Yea lol😂
"Overall with the way this weapon moves and feels
It will kill"
Nice Rhymes over there
*His forge just simply wasn't long enough. You can't make a sword in sections.*
Actually you kinda can. His forge was definitelt large enough. He was just an unskilled smith - too fat blade, too little tools, no distal taper, bad tempering... He was just bad overall.
@@horvathbenedek3596 He purposely made the blade too heavy and with a very poor edge, exactly the opposite of what a Saber should be. I don't know why he thought that was a good idea.
@@jesuschristkillmealready5419 It wasn't a decision he made. He was simply unskilled, or inexperienced in making swords. Making a sword requires a fuckton of grinding. And I know from personal experience that if you have never made a sword, you'll DEFINITELY lowball the amount if grinding you have to do. He probably ground it till there was something resembling an edgr and then stopped. Commoj mistake. Also, clip point on a sword...
But the real issue was hest treatment.
Who are you for comment 🤔
Napoleon: Sacre bleu! IT WILL NOT KEEEEEL!!!!
Longue vie à L'empereur 🇨🇵
I've never felt worse for the second place then this episode, he seemed like such a nice guy
Its 2020 and people are still calling Doug “the kill test guy”
Jake Simpson keel test guy*
Keel test guy
When the guy in the wheelchair checked up on him it legit broke my hand
Your hand? Autocorrect got you good ^^
Felt like he was using him to get sympathy or something
I have watched this show so much that i can tell if the heat treat is done correctly or not just by looking at the color.
So can a lot of fans of the show.
Nobody:
Doug: IT WILL KEEEEL
*EVERYBODY LIKED THAT*
You are lame
Mad Intellectual that name be lame too tho😳

Yoo he has no filter he just said " bad heat treat" 😂😂😂😂
How is that funny.
the guy in wheelchair was super nice and sweet person
Napoleon's Cyber 😂😂
Seth seems like such a good guy
If his grain structure is coarse, the blade had almost snapped off at 7:23, because grain structure is like the most serious and important part of steel blade strength, other than a stress fracture, stress riser, surface crack or a rusty brown or black spot in the blade’s steel.
His blade was on the edge of breaking at 7:23
J "with no mercy at all..." we dont expect any, J.
Love the sportsmanship and judges' attitude. No one makes fun of anyones work, and when judges test, they know can say "A's blade was sharper than B's blade", but they dont and only critique the weapon being judged and only compare (respectfully) at the final decision.
That doggie is adorable 😌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
With the way this weapon moves and feels
It will keel
I swear Doug is a poet
It's a shame that Steven's blade wasn't quite so sharp and ended up breaking, and Seth's blade suffered some structural issues. The blowtorch heat treat must not have worked quite as well as thought. Shame man.
7:53
He has a soft voice but when he gets to work there's a lot of grit
i've been waiting ages for a new video!!!!!
8:22 he breaks the front off the skull and 8:24 it magically reappears
Probably got a new one once it broke
Why am I addicted to watching these types of videos??
Hi! We’re glad you enjoyed the clip! Thanks for being a #ForgedInFire fan!
AMAZING VIDS!
Great video
0:44 Hey! This guy's got an NC Tool Anvil! :D
How is this guy a blacksmith? Even from home i could tell that he had an uneven heat treat.
@ 9:00 music builds - blade comes down , hits ram' s skull - CRACK !!! - KALANGALANGALANG !!! (broken blade hits floor ) - Steve reacts: "Dad gum - bad heat treat " :)
Both of them quenched during massive heat variability along the lengths of their blades.
J is awesome when he does the strength test
nobody:
doug: it will keel
Awesome vid
Hey... I put a few nails through this baseball bat....
"It will keeeeel"
I already tried it, it did keel
Wow!!!bloody.Cool.Educational.
I love Seth's energy he makes me happy
I love the way Seth will invest his money, he definitely spends it wisely. Great guy!
that whispering dude haha he knew his mistakes yet participate
Eyy I didn't even notice this was new until I finished it. Nice
Here for “It wil KEEEL”!!!
nice
i love this show
0:14 there Face...😂 Napoleon saber
Steven's clothing in the final round reminds me of Sniper in TF2 lol 😂
I always feel bad seeing blades break
no need to
Every episode always has a heavy and a light blade
Good time seen this
They were both smart enogh to focus in making a good blade rsther than trying some fancy damascus.
Last time I was this early nobody cared
Arthfael Online. Still the same! Sad Imbecile¥
Still no one does
Nothing has changed, nobody cares still.
Dog giving the cameraman the side-eye at 4:25
why are these videos so addictive 😬
Nice
Steven's got a beautiful looking home.
Positive words claiming to have most fun and not most stress.
Seth's saber is absolutely beautiful
6:57 if you came for the *”it will keel”*
Do they still make new episodes? I love this show and these little 10min videos aren’t enough! Yall could atleast make them 20min long
6:16 what did it’s nose ever do to you
I don't know why this series is in my recommended, but I'm not complaining either
Love this channel, watch the blacksmith on competition
Guy won me over at deer antler handle on a Napoleon Saber.
thats a lotta damage
8:28 that last cut scared me. His sword seemed so wobbly at first
How come the old guy always with every hit goes heum! Heum! Heum! Lol
Improvise,adapt,overcome
Just from watching him heat-treating it with torch, you could tell, it will snap.
8:08 calls a sword a knife
Oh well some Germans call certain swords "messer" meaning knife/long knife, sorry I spelt it wrong
From the rooter to the tooter
Wasn't expecting Doug to take off the tip of the pigs nose...
I love watching these videos just to hear those incredible 'murican accent
forged in fire: exists
smiths: GOT ME SOME OF THE SAME STEEL EEVRYBODY ELSE USES AS WELL AS DAMASCUS STEEL
4:40 I think that's actually a jewelry-making technique, cutting grooves with a little three-square hand file
After the kill test of Steven's blade, you can see that Dough was pretty disappointed.
Steve was too over confidence that's the major reason🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And with no *mercy at all*
Im going to *BASH THIS RAM SKULL*
I could tell when he quenched his blade that it wasn't going to hold
2 good ol boys makin a French sword love it
MY MAN USED A *DEER* HANDLE
"It will keeeeel" hope im cool now
You could clearly see when he went for the quench that his blade was not nearly hot enough for proper heat treating. Not much he could have done though, his oven just wasn't up to the task for a blade this size. Disaster waiting to happen. Seth got off good though, his blade wasn't that much better haha.
It will kill tagline,,
is hunting me. Hahah😆😅😅😅
you should make scanderbeg sword
It will keeeeel
Oui oui
I thought the first one was going to lose even though the second one could not cut much.
That blade said, “Im free!!!”.
"That's not vegan."
