Satisfying Step-By-Step Custom Hat Making - Jak na to + styl
I’ve never wanted a hat so badly in my life
Ikr!!!
Me too!!!
I never wanted to Make a hat so badly!!😌
A little bit of snot came out my nose.
Ahhh to see such an old process still being used to this day does my heart good. This is truly art! Some things should just never be left to all automation, this is one of those. So much pride and care goes into each of those hats. Sir I tip my hat to you. Godspeed...
Yessssssssssssssssss... Took the words right out of my mouth... What is not broken does not ever need to be fixed.
Never knew it took this much hardwork to make one hat. I now have a new appreciation for hats.
U are an artist. I really enjoyed this vid and your craftmanship.
I had NO idea how “hands on” hat making is! It takes quite a bit of upper body work to go through each step in the process! What an artist you are. The finished product brings to mind the way men used to dress on a daily basis!
For the most part, *it isn't* any more though. Most modern hats that are sold in stores are mass-produced by machines, and their (non-existent)quality is absolute garbage.
The guy in this video is a craftsman who makes them in the old and real way. But that is *not* common practice in our modern times.
There are a few hatters like him still around, but not many.
And high quality fedoras, like the one shown here, cost a fortune to buy, since they are so rare nowadays.
- федоры- это название формы?
Да шляпа ,всем шляпам- шляпа!
А цвет!.........УАО!😮
I make custom hats the same way. It’s nice seeing so many others continuing this craft into this generation.
Hello. Im really interested in this art. What type of felt are you using? And where do you get them?
good to see talented people displaying their skills and craft. i couldnt be a hat maker tho...way too much ironing for my liking
You, Sir, are an artisan. The person who wears one of your creations is a very fortunate one indeed.
Keep doing you.
Great craftsmanship is hard to find nowadays. When you find it you'll know it and appreciate it. Bravo 👏
The whole thing from start to finish was beautiful to watch!! I just love to see a Craftsman work.... ✌🏻💗😊❣️
When you come around to liking something, just because of the way it was made, you know the craftsman has done a great job.
I'm glad you're keeping this craft, this art alive.
I want one now.
That’s my hat guy!
I absolutely love my custom hat. I get compliments on it whenever I wear it. Jacobs is a true artist and craftsman. Working with him to design my hat was a dream.
Just started wearing Grown Man hats. Purchased my first beaver this year .Nothing but compliments at every event
cool
How is it this man is just making a simple hat and I'm beyond enthralled with it? Lol I could watch him hours!
I've never seen this before. It's relaxing
The best 5:56 of my day! Truly enjoyed watching your skills at work... inspiring! Thank you!!! TK
He explained it as it's so easy to make such a hat, but actually it takes years to reach to this level of skill. Just amazing man 🤠🤝👍
I'm obsessed with wide brim fedora hats, my region gets rain through out the year and my friends always get jealous of me walking in the pouring rain with my hat.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! 😁❤️
I love that you're able to keep this legacy alive and well! 😊 👍🎩
Yes, ur awsome. Thanku for keeping this wonderful art alive.
You know that would be the best damn hat you ever wore too.
That dude KNOWS his craft.
An art form. Beautiful.
From a custom felt cowboy hat guy I really appreciate these videos. It’s definitely an art.
I would travel to Georgia just to support this amazing artist!!
Amazing work sir. An artiste at his craft. I want me one o dem, ain’t playin’!!
There's alot of labor involved in making custom Hats. They are absolutely perfect if the Hatmaker uses a Conformator to perfectly measures your Head. This Guy is pretty good!
Amazing! Thanks for keeping this art alive. It is simply beautiful.
❤ My hat's off to you! Excellent!
Red would love this guy. Honestly there's just not enough scene on him dedicating his time for a new hat
Old school hat making, love it.
Wow great talent 👏👏👏. Proud of you. Lots of respect from India 🥰
Absolutely fascinating craftsmanship and well produced video. The narration was top notch. Thank you for sharing Sir.
I like cap 🧢.
This was so fun to watch! Wow a visual treat!! And beautiful craftsmanship 😍.
Wow!!! What a marvelous hat. However, what is the most intriguing aspect in this process is~ You!!!
It is astonishing how young you are to have had such a vision and to make it a reality at such a young age.
To have gained that knowledge of high fine quality and keep that attention to detail to produce an exquisite expression, inspired by your surroundings, to add that flavor and aesthetic that is uniquely Yours~
To me is a megalithic achievement.
A testament of your creative genius, maturity of mind and your hand as a master craftsman.
What's most astounding is that as a Young Black Man, in a world that dishearteningly makes it very difficult for Young People of Color to succeed, Your passion and drive to make your mark of excellence in this old craft...
You, as a Young Black Man, are not an Artist~ You, like Your Hats are a Masterpiece Work of Art!!!
The World must be proud of your success. I recognize this achievement to reach a level in this craft.
At the first moment I can afford to,
I will put in a request for a masterpiece from your work shop.
I've previously purchased hats from Selentino's, however, I have my sights on your artistry, that I truly am in awe of.
I will seek out more about you and figure out how to connect for Business.
Keep up your awesome work as an Artist and never lose that great smile.
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Randy Chavez
Dude is rocking the hat look.
Major Payne would be proud!! Love it!!

Love seeing how these are made
Like your style, great to see the tradition of hat making continued.
This is awesome. I just love the whole process. Thanks for sharing.🌻
I am in absolute awe.
Really love the whole process of it, i wish crafts like this will never be gone especially now that society seems to value efficiency more than creativity
I dont have enough style to pull off one of those hats
yes you do. look back in history, these hats were worn by farmers working in the fields with overalls and boots. Blue jeans and a T shirt is all you need my friend. Peace!
You see these kinds of videos from Europe/East Asia. Traditional/hand made content like this seems so rare in the US.
Refreshing!
Final product was just awesome 👍
Absolutely Fantastic!! I love this! Such a craft! ❤️🤩
when I see craftsmanship like this I always hope they’ll be able to succeed and stay open… so much so that even though I hate the look of hats on me I was watching this really trying to find a reason to buy one 😂
never knew this much work goes into hat making
Wow, this is a really interesting craft.
I want one of those hats.
Theses hats are beautiful i want one
get one! if you need help let me know.
Amazing!! you can feel the love behind the craft
Great to see traditional Craftsman
Amazing! I want more videos like these.
This is how we make hats! *lights hat on fire*
Fabulous! ❤ Watching this brings back life!!
Now I wanna fly in town just to get a hat!
Thats such artizan skill. It make you dream to have one!
They used similar techniques for my cowboy hat. Like the press and the fitting.
With so many things we purchase being mass produced in foreign countries, it is so refreshing to see high quality products handcrafted here in the U.S.A
You are right, but do you know much a hat like that costs? Over $600 USD at minimum, and it could easily go over $1000 USD too.
So the handcrafting comes at a very high price. It's still worth it though.
It hits different when the product is made manually and not from fast machines
Wow, what a craftsmanship. This gentleman knows what he's doing. Howdy from the Netherlands. 🤠
Wow
Really dope... makes me wanna learn how to make hats...
Same. I love when I see something that makes me question if I could truly acquire a skill and love it.
I'm from Bainbridge myself, had no idea you're there. This is epic
Thank you for sharing your craft with everyone who is fortunate enough to watch this video. Fascinating!!!!
I tried to cover over a junky fedora with a medium weight material and ended up with a wrinkly disaster. This was so interesting to see how hats are actually made 😅
That was DOPE! This ignited a flame long forgotten. Thank you
Bravo! You nail it. . ..such a good taste and know how

Thats badass! Love to see people with craftsman skills!
Your work is lovely, beautiful hats
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
Most major hat companies don't do the fire thing. It's usually done recently by up and coming hat makers because it's become popular amongst younger generation.
When you love what you do you don't work a day in your life😍
Well… that was beautiful
What a beautiful product
You are amazing my young King!!
Beautiful work
Lovely process. Great looking hat!!
🙌 Outstanding Craftsmanship 👏
Truly beautiful work.
Absolutely beautiful my friend! If you don't already, you are going to have some awesome stories to tell in several years. I'm sure there will be some well known people coming to buy your product. I'd love to make my own hat, but wanted to check and see if you could point me into a place to source the materials? (fur felt, hat blocks, tools, etc.) Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Keep at it, what you're doing is awesome!
Fantastic man! What a talent you got there!
