Thank you so much for this video! My childhood friend passed away the other day at only 19, and I found an old fedora of hers that she left at my house years ago, and it’s dirty and the band’s all grubby. Now I can replace the band on it and really honor her.

I love the denim for the hat band. I have a hand painted boho raffia hat that I could not figure out what to finish it with - I am going to put the denim over a hand painted silk band and secure with a bright sparkly vintage brooch😁THANK YOU for the inspiration!!

A very cool job and a great hat, the leather shark's fin shape makes it really stand out. I found this video by looking for 'how to sew a velvet ribbon on a fedora hat', but putting a denim band on a hat is a very stylish thing to do. Thank you.

very useful. I honestly thought you bought your hats in that shapes. I never knew you could reshape the hat with a steamer. I really like your use of the time laps feature also. I'm used to seeing slomo vida on instagram so this was really cool. I like that you're getting more and more comfortable behind the camera. keep it up. I want a bangarang pin. really cool feature. have you ever considered designing accessories? I know fashion "isn't something you feel you do well" but I think you'd be surprised. I'd love to wear alot of the clothes you wear to work. edgy but still very classy. thanks for this.
