@@cre8tivegarage157 it's an awesome upgrade on those older cars. This is the same unit I installed in my 240 but I pulled it out before I sold it since the new owner wanted the cheapest deal possible.

Did your dash throw lights? Normally a canbus adapter is required for low and high speed jeeps! Also did you wire for Uconnect?
No lights on the dash. And no I didn't wire for uconnect. That might be a newer jeep thing
did you like the Kenwood dmx125bt? Planning on a adding a subwoofer in the near future.
It started having software issues and I missed the volume knob. I prefer the Sony xav ax1005dab
Do you have any issues with your mic placement? I have people tell me they get a feedback of thier voice when on bluetooth calls. I currently have my mic placed on the little cubby above the radio.
Not in this vehicle I've heard of that issue when the speakers are facing the mic.
Is that Screen you just installed single DIN or Double DIN? I have same model and didn't know if I had to buy single DIN.
The one I got is a double din but doesn't play cds or dvds it's a media player. the unit itself is a bit smaller than a regular double din that does play cds.
Do you need a radio replacement interface? I just dont want to go off and buy one if i dont need it becasue they are expensive.
In most vehicles when you go from stock to aftmarket you do. I'd strongly suggest you contact tech support from a trusted site. I've used crutchfield.com for many years and have nothing but positive things to say about them
Funny, base model in 2007 was loaded in 1997.
How / where do you find the harness adapter and the face plate skirt?
I've been able to find everything I need through Amazon or ebay.

No sir nothing else. double check your connections hopefully your head unit isn't faulty...

It was a scosche install kit from Amazon. I listed it in the video description I believe.
Same one as you. But for some reason mine done have the other black one and other little ones you have. Everything works fine but it just don’t play any sound
@@JoseRamirez-mt3je do you have one an unlimited jk ? Or different model ? Some people have had issues where the cheap harness doesn't have the amp wire the ( solid blue wire ) so if your jeep is equiped with an amp from the factory make sure it's connected. Or you may need to try a different harness.
Did you add a USB port to the cigarette lighter socket? If so link?
I did not. Bluetooth was the main source
How does it sound ? Quality compares to old ?
Sounds better than the stock unit. Definitely not competition quality but a great upgrade.

What head unit are you installing?
Originally I installed a Kenwood dmx125bt. It did ok but I missed having a volume knob so I switched to the Sony xav-ax1000

That's odd. The only times I've heard people have this issue it's because they have a factory Amp. Double check your wiring ? Check to see if there's a solid blue wire in the original harness
