A new “Prestige” system has been added that allows players to play through the level 1-15 progression up to three additional times per commander. Each time a player activates Prestige with a given commander, they will unlock a unique Prestige Talent, which can be used to change the core gameplay of the commander.
This video is a demonstration of the prestige talents Dehaka currently has in Starcraft II co-op missions. The changes are LIVE, so you can try them out yourself!

Please excuse my "bad micro" for Dehaka. I really tried to micro as hard as I can while still trying to talk through it. I DID have a separate control group for the haks. I tried keeping a separate control group for each of them but it doesn't work for me since they look so similar that I can't really find the correct control group to pull back before they both die.
Also, please keep in mind that I've been playing a different commander each day, so my overall experience with each of them individually is relatively low, so I don't think it's fair for people to expect me to micro perfectly and never lose any units. Also, while it's really easy for you to sit there and just say "haha just assign new control groups", please also note that it takes time to learn these in my muscle memory especially when I'm recording this prestige on the very day that I leveled it up.
I appreciate your attempts to help me, but please also note that microing paper units that get focused down is difficult. Mistakes are bound to happen, especially when I'm trying to explain and macro behind it.
A tip: watch series on kaldroStream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.

My one take for Dehaka: I do wish they at least made essence shared between the two. Even if the essence was split halfway between the two, it would still be pretty helpful. But that's just me.

The name Zweihaka is so smart
Yaay, they removed the cd from Kerrigan's Crushing Grip! They increased the energy required to 60, but with Kerrigan's fast energy regeneration it's certainly usable a lot more often than with 8 seconds cd. They also decreased Kinetic Blast cost to 40 energy. By the way, I didn't see that in patch notes, perhaps I missed it!
Crushing Grip is terrible now man. I have no idea why you like Desolate queen now; it's total garbage. Sure Crushing Grip doesn't have a cooldown, but it deals damage over like 5+ seconds or something and has a tiny AoE. As normal kerrigan you can just kill all the ground units with a couple of quick psionic shifts; with crushing grip all you can do is disable a small amount of units, and they'll only die if they had like 48 health or less.

MY MAN! Dehaka's prestiges are one of the best and interesting amongst commanders. He truly is beloved!
I found that the devour healing also is applied to ally units in the first prestige. It might be worth throwing a few points into that as well
Man, Broodbrother is not how I hoped it would be. It's kinda bad. I thought the splitting of Essence wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it really stunts the leveling growth of the Haka's, which stunts the ability use and stats of them, as well. If they could make them not split the Essence completely in half, and allow them to share the Devour buffs (at least if within close range), that might make it viable.
Makes you wish they both shared essence instead of needing independent essence.

I would have loved to see something like "Dehaka now has the ability to devour pack leaders. Upon comsumption, dehaka levels up by 3 levels. But the consumed pack leader is no longer availible for the match.
Would be cool to have seen that as the "Primal Contender" thing. Speed up Dehaka's levelling at the cost of a pack leader. A small price to pay for salvation.
@King Ecbert yeah 3 level is just underwhelming, especially at later times when pack leader summon is pretty handy at times

If you are playing the mutation "heroes of the storm" can your dehaka eat the enemy dehaka? that really got me thinking
It was possible before, so why wouldn't it be now? Enemy Dehaka is only hero that your Dehaka can eat!

I think your lack of control groups are working against you for broodbrother. Since Dehaka has so few buildings that need to be managed you can easily put Dehaka on control group 1, Zweihaka on 2, both on 3, then your base on 4 or something (or whatever combo works for you) and be able to switch between them extremely quickly to micro either together (3) or individually (1,2) depending on which one might be low.
Also if you want to try a new unit comp for Dehaka just go creeper hosts. They are ridiculously cost efficient and basically spawn endless free scourge that can also attack ground. It is OP against every enemy composition and way better than his mutas imo.
Creeper hosts and some guardians to support them(unless its scourge zerg) is my way to go aswell.
Or just simply using tab button for brohaka
I use 1 and 2 like you said but I use 3 for the rest of my army.

Munch is a lot stronger than I thought it'd be on first impressions, the no fire breath Dehaka kinda hurts but I think the stronger Mutalisks and whatever other units people can find to work way more than makes up for it. The nerfed level cap also isn't that big of a deal since by the time you reach your new level cap you've probably reached critical mass of super Mutas.
I thought the pack leaders would be better and it probably is but their vanilla forms are already some of the strongest units in the entire game so the overkill power doesn't feel meaningful with the sacrifice to availability. As you said I'm really curious how it preforms in the Heroes of the Storm mutation.
Broodbrothers I thought would be the best but I really did not foresee the fact that they wouldn't share XP. I'd be really interested to see somebody what somebody who mastered it can do with it but I think having 2 Dehakas stuck during his weakest phase for even longer be EVEN weaker is probably not worth it. If you can get your Dehakabros to level 8 then I think you'll begin your absolute tear.
Also I wish Zweihaka had a better name, I know it's German for 1haka and 2haka but I wish the name was better.
What's your CPU/GPU and graphic settings? When I consume psionic units with P1 my fps drops to 0 for 2 seconds, no issues otherwise.

So after playing a bunch of double dehaka, I started using leap as an escape, my apm increased by 1000000%, I realised that both dehakas wont ever max out meaning even less health, I get double abilities and started devouring hybrids, I realized its not worth it unless im tryning to flex on my teammates and the clone looks cool
So one of Dehaka's devour abilities allow him to hit air so what does lings that can hit air look like?
air buff gives allied units range unfortunately

Heh i knew it, you died too with having double dehaka lol, i just want shared essence or at the very minimum, shared tab between them so you dont have to manually switch to use skills, that would make it a lot better to play with (loved the skin on zweihaka tho).
But with a shared tab you can't splitt them. You double tap leap and the other one runs across the map.
@@bean2345 Not really, by shared tab I mean that when you have both selected then you can use skills from both without changing between them, you can still make like 2 armies and have different control groups, that wouldn't force them to come to the other's location.
Pretty sure the point of broodbrother is micro, so having shared tab makes no sense (like if you roar, both would roar, which is useless; if you devour, both cant eat the same unit 😂).

@@kirkperez2014 Still people don't seem to get it, it's not hard to understand... When you cast a storm with templars, do they all cast a storm on the same place or does just 1 cast it and you can keep casting more without changing manually with tab to another one? That is what I meant, you cast consume with dehakas and the first one does it, cast it again and the second one does it, same with the rest of skills.

I tried prestige after seeing your video, but I didn't understand that I will not be able to move back to standard mode ... Will i be able to play normal mode again after I finish one prestige?
