We have spent 24 days in May traveling what we now see as our favourite canal on our narrowboat and it's time to turn around and head back onto pastures new.
Hi, we are Rozzie & Rob with our lovely cockapoo's Ralph & Rosie. We have given up the rat race, sold our house and have bought a new narrowboat, Thistle & Rose. Our vlogs are showing our learns as we go from bricks and mortar to life on the water. Join us as we literally learn the ropes of becoming continual cruisers on England's 2500 miles of canals & rivers.
Our vlogs are ideal if you have ever wondered what it's like to live on a narrowboat or are considering to make the leap and buy your very own narrowboat. Your right the aqueduct without the extra width on the side makes it look like your floating in the air from the camera view lol awesome video as always!

Stunning scenery and footage again. Absolutely love the Llangollen canal a few of the other full time narrow boaters tend to do it in the autumn/winter when there are less hire boaters and you can moor for longer. It was lovely to see it in full bloom at this time of year.
We are pleased we did it in spring! And we hope to return in autumn/winter too to get the contrast.

Hi you two. I had to close my eyes when you were going through that aquaduct it was a bit high. Yummy smell of chocolate, glad you found out what it was.

I am in the States, so i know nnothing first hand, but from the footage from many boaters. I would like a boat and think i would stay on that canal. It seems to have everything you need. Safe journey.

Fit like. You were very brave crossing the Welsh aqueduct on the way back. I saw on a recent vlog that you have both deciding to stay on your boat for ever. Good decision in my view. Take care.

Hello. I think that was the best and most scenic length of canal in the UK. Over the years I’ve canoed across and boated the aqueduct. Canoeing seemed the safer. Your bum is only about 4 inches off the surface of the canal, the rim of the iron work trough is just over chin height. When I boated across it was in my brother’s narrow boat about 10 years ago. It’s a bit scary I’ll admit. I used to climb 60ft telephone poles with no problem. The only problem we had crossing the River Dee was my brother’s dog, Jac. He would jump after anything that flew, we had to keep Jac on a lead.
We saw lots of canoes! I’m not sure I could cope! But the views are well worth it!

Amazing coverage you two. We are local (Middlewich/Holmes Chapel) and our new boat is due to hit the water this month from Elton Moss and we will be doing the Llangollen very soon (done bits on hire boat previously).
On a separate note, what insurance company do you use as we are getting wildly varying quotes having no previous no claims bonus?
How exciting for you! We are in Middlewich this weekend for the festival!
We use craft insure, and have done since day 1. They are very competitive.
