How are people blaming Hojlund? The guy has had 1 shot in 4 games……what kind of service is that to feed off? Rashford prefers to shoot, Garnacho prefers to shoot, Bruno prefers to shoot so where is he getting service from?
Because if you are not getting chances to score, then you need to get involved in other aspects of the game like link up play and holding up the ball, which he was atrocious at yesterday. You can't be someone like Haaland who relies on getting fed passes on a plate. Look at strikers like Kane, Toney and Nicholas Jackson. They drop deep and get involved. Hojlund needs to learn that rather than people use this 'no service' excuse
He is bad. Even if he can't get service, he should be either demand the ball OR play deeper to get involved. He act like Haaland, who don't do shit in build up, but at least Haaland has goals output.

@@DC94359actually that’s where you’re wrong. Most fans that based thier opinion in reality knew it would still be an issue unless players started crossing and passing to the striker. Without service we knew he would struggle. And a lot of Bruno’s chances created are passes to the winger where the winger takes on a very low success shot. That becomes a chance created even if there was basically no chance for it actually being a goal. That makes a huge difference.

Manchester United need a ruthless manager. Their own Arteta or Klopp, someone that goes into the club and however big the name if you don't fit the system or don't work hard enough then your out.
What I will say in ETH defense with Martinez you defensive line would be right up the pitch with your midfield. The reason I think he should go is because of the 400k a week contract for Rashford and giving the captaincy to Bruno. Arteta and Klopp wouldn't have done that
There are issues with the United system but one question I would ask is have any of the players actually bought fully into any system of play from any of the last 3 or 4 managers? Fans want a style of play - where is the evidence that the players can adapt and play in a way or a system with any consistency?

certain coaches who beleive in their philosophies wont adapt like pep/klopp for example. ETH has shown more stubborn than anything else because on what he has done at ajax. so its a case by case basis you cant expect coaches to adapt to players, players need to adapt to the coach. Simple as pie.

Anges system is horrific. He tells both his fullbacks to invert into number 10s, the second they lose the ball they're in danger everytime. Their defence were injured for most of the season. They had to play two full backs as centre-backs for large part of season.
