It's weird how everyone calls out Doku when he's new to the league for just being a dribbling and speed merchant with no end product, yet people will come after you if you call out Grealish for being a dribbling merchant with no end product. At Villa the man was incredible he had the most chances created in 1 season and was top 3 another season I believe, playing for a far inferior side to the big boys back then. Idk what's happened to him, might be one of those players that needs to play every week to get form, idk, Jesus is a player like that, when he got a good run of games early days at Arsenal he was banging goals, after he was plagued with injuries and been in and out of the team, he struggles so much to score

Jesus was never banging in goals for arsenal, never been clinical enough and went through a 6 game goal drought before he ever got injured for arsenal.
I completely agree with the Salah observations here Terry. He is definitely not done and it doesn't make sense for Liverpool to move him on yet as a younger replacement of similar quality would be extremely costly.
That being said, the replacement would need to be bought in January so that the free Salah move is offset.
He'll go somewhere for a large signing fee, earn the really big bucks in the Middle East before retirement but not before the current contract rundown.

I believe that Grealish' problem at City is he don't have enough space to operate in. I believe as Chelsea never dominate the pitch in the same way, it would be a better fit for him, and I've said that for years!
Terry I know you don't hate Grealish but again you under emphasise his actual role at City which is to slow down the pace of the game & control the game.
There's a correlation that when he doesn't play for City games suddenly become box to box games which isn't what Pep wants.
Often you've said that Foden should take his place on the left side but from what we've seen from Foden's skill set first of all Foden's best position is in midfield as a 10 that's where he performs best & where he gets goals & assists. You probably would argue that when Foden plays out wide left or right he still gets G&A that is true but also there's a important factor that Pep currently desires for his wingers & that is to control games which so far Foden hasn't shown (sure he might obtain that ability but currently he doesn't have it).
I agree that Grealish should attempt more often to take on his man & to create & shoot more but ultimately Pep desires his skillset most of controlling games & he's one of the best in the business on the wings.
You can sign a winger for 500K to ball retain for you lmfao any winger can do what grealish does. You don't need to spend 100M on a winger to help keep possession. If any other winger had the G/A of grealish, they would get ripped a new one.

The issue with Salah is he's returned from injury and he's up there with Nunez for big chances missed since returning. He's not young either, it's not like Saka when he has short periods of poor form (December and March) because he's only 22 so you expect that from someone that young but Salah is 10 years older and his poor form has been going on for 3 months. He's fallen out with the manager, he's been benched, he's been injured I think at a certain point Liverpool should give up and look for someone younger. Look at this Bakayoko from PSV, he looks class and plays the same way as Slot likes to use his right wingers.
Replacing Salah isn't an easy task, we saw with the mane replacement...
