It wasn't the own goal that caused Arsenal to gain their confidence, it was the offside goal that Havertz scored. Immediately that happened, Tottenham players got nervous, they were like "Oh no we've been found out" and that's what lead to the own goal.

I watched back the penalty incident and I'm shocked that anyone's complaining. They say Trossard clipped him but actually it was just an ever so slight contact on the back of his calf. I play football and it happens all the time and I never fall over from that sort of contact. Spurs fans are getting desperate

Why is anyone talking about a penalty on Kulusevski??? Trossard can not possibly be out the way and Kulusevski's heel clipped Trossard not the other way around. Kulusevski tried to stay up and didn't even appeal for a penalty to start with. The Tottenham players didn't not even ask for a penlaty on that one instead they are complained for a penalty on Rice's tackle on Maddison instantly after which was shown as a clean tackle.
These penalties that the Tottenham fans are asking for are the worst penalties in football. Not only can defenders not tackle inside the box but they cant even run in the box anymore as if an attacker touches a moving defender it becomes a penalty. What should Trssard have done in that situation??? Kulusevski changes direction and runs across Trossard with Trossard literally trying to get back to defend the near post. These penalties need to stop being given unless the defenders are intentionally making the attackers clip them which VAR can clearly determine.
VAR were 100% right not to award a penalty for several reasons. The first and main reason is Kulusevski caused the clip by accident he ran across Trossard and that change in direction is why it happened. Secondly Kulusevski was running away from goal and was not able to get a chot off at that time and was simply trying to get space to pass the ball. Thirdly Trossard was moving away from Kulusevski direction and moving vertically towards the goal. There was nothing that could have been done more by Trossard to avoid that tiniest of clips. Fair play to Kulusevski he tried to stay iup and even more impressive was him not even reacting for a penalty.

I agree with Goldbridge, but perhaps not for the same reasons... Count up all the points lost by Arsenal from abysmal refereeing/VAR decisions and count up City's dropped points for the same.... Arsenal would be 2-4 points further ahead of City and probably have this title wrapped up in the next couple of weeks.

We emptied 4, 5 stadiums this season. Not lost a single game against rivals top 6... took 4 points from City/Liverpool ... didnt lost a game at etihad , lane , bridge or anfield... best goal difference, most scored less conceded. Most clean sheets... But City Individual quality and Pep Will still find the way to fuck us up... sometimes u can clearly see, the city players get away with it at refs and many decisions go their way... so I dont know ... Maybe Arsenal need to buy 3,4 more players. World class quality, but dont know if Arteta has the pull... and maybe next season 98 -100 points will be enough...
