U wanna know how I did it? How I used my influence & power to make the world side with EtH 🙂 Bet u thought u hipsters will get your way getting another manager. U were so sure, u were so adamant, u were so confident that you'll get your way 😆
At 1st I would drop lil gem comments to the likes of Goldbridge here & there, factual facts about why EtH is not at fault & why he needs support whilst identifying the issues we faced. I planted the seeds so the positivity can spread & grow, especially with Mark having a large platform I knew he would be an allie.
I did something similar to the Overlap lads, I knew their voice matters so I behind the scenes articulated to them why it's the right decision to stand by EtH as things stand. With Gary, Keano etc. having pull with the fan base I knew it would sway many ppl to change their mind about the manager.
See it's my fault I gave u too much time & I engaged with your surface level thinking & since then you've gotten a little too comfortable/brave, case of amnesia, forgetting who I am & how I literally created u. I changed the whole landscape, everything u see & hear nowadays is me.
So shook that u block me & remove my comments, especially those that hit hard 😊

I had the same discussion with a friend of mine who supports LFC and he said the reason nobody is laying into LFC for "bottling the league" despite being 5pts clear, like they did with AFC was because they got a new midfield... and I was like, so LFC get a pass because they made some signings? Guardiola has won a domestic league title in almost every season he has been a manager. Only on 3 occasions in his entire 15 season career did he fail to do so, one of them was losing to Mourinho’s Madrid with 100 points and another to Klopp’s Liverpool with 99 points. It tells you that, as long as Pep is around, you need to have an near perfect season to stand a chance of winning the title.

The two points can be looked at in so many ways for Arsenal. The games that Terry ahs mentioned are absolutely valid and are my first thought. However The Newcastle away game ref decision (1 point).
Kai Havertz disallowed goal at 1-0 away at villa to make it 1-1 (1 point).
That's two points from refereeing decisions already.
City's Doku moment at Anfield could have made that game a draw.
The offside at Spurs the other day would have made the game a draw probably.

Hey please don’t let Zinny haunt you, it’s easy to forget what he has done for Arsenal. Zinny and Jesus were brought in to provide a winning mentality in our dressing room and to take us to another level which was reached on qualifying for Champions League. Undoubtedly Zinny and Jesus brought improvement to our team and our style of play but now we are a level higher than Zinny as our recruitment of even better players continues and we chase titles week in week out and play CL. I strongly believe Zinny has only been used this season as much as he has due to Timber’s season long injury and Tomiyasu missing a huge chunk due to injury this left us with young Kivior who is improving and Zinny. Zinny will either be sold in the summer or used as a squad player, he will drop right down the pecking order behind Timber, Tomi and Kivior. We have had an amazing ride again this season and it’s not quite over yet 🤞 I know slim hope but we will buy more quality this summer and we should be in for an even better time next season because Arteta has consistently improved us and he won’t stop until the trophies are back with us 😃 Sorry for my essay Robert, just churning my thoughts out and you are the lucky or perhaps unlucky recipient! 😂 Enjoy our match on Sunday #COYG ❤️⚽️

Difference btwn Arsenal and LFC going for the title vs City is that LFC always played to win vs City and City always played to win vs LFC. Now most of those games ended in draws, but had Arsenal played to win at the Etihad, I have no doubt that even as a City fan, Arsenal likely would’ve won. But if you have to risk it to win it
Ps. City’s big wage bill is based off last season and like LFC, City’s wage structure is heavily based on bonuses for trophies won which is why last seasons was so big and hence the treble. You’ll find the same for LFC. In season where they won the PL or CL their wage bill was much higher than when they won nothing or a smaller comp. Same with City.

It's not just the points the psychological impact on city would have been devastating. its not hindsight becuase lots of ppl were saying it before.
talking about the Liverpool 1 when they won is wrong because that season city were not close. look at the season where city were close and Liverpool lost by a point... beating city would LITERALLY have made the difference.
u will occasionally drop points to a fulham to west ham typr teams etc that happens. city have raised the bar in the league and have such a stranglehold that u have to break them, and thats by beating them. the minute that gane ending a draw u could sense city felt they would outrun arsenal in the run-in... u felt it they felt, and thats what happened.

Carra mate, your spine of Allison, VVD, Fabinho and Salah was £221m. And I’m being generous not including more expensive players like Kaita and Nunez, who would make this a lot more.
Raya, £27m, Saliba £27m, Rice £105m and Havertz £60m. There is only one£2m difference between the main spines of both team. You can swap White for Saliba if you like as Arteta didn’t actually sign Saliba, but he bought him back into the team.
You won’t hear that. You’ll hear net spend because Courtinho went for £140m…. But Klop did not sign or make Courtinho. He also didn’t want to sell him.

The wage gap argument is nonsense, as per usual, from Carragher.
Alot of Man City's squad have been winning major trophies for a decade now, so they have hugely successful players, which any club has to pay big wages. Just like Liverpool have to pay the likes of VVD, Salah, Allison, TAA etc for achieving some success.
Arsenal don't have any of those players. Most of Arsenal's squad wages are based on what the players were 3/4 years ago, which was nobodies.
Arsenal's wages will have to increase drastically over the next few years, if they want to keep hold of players.

As an arsenal fan I see the hate from everyone but it’s fine and being called bottlers doesn’t make sense. If not arsenal or Liverpool who else comes close to challenge city?? Which are proven the best team in Europe! Coming second place does not mean you have bottled the league it means to me we are on the right track!

    “When they didn’t beat City”
Liverpool didn’t beat City in the year they won. They drew and LOST!
Arsenal Took 4 points from City AND Liverpool this season.
It wasn’t the Villa game. They’re a fantastic top 4 team.
It was taking a point from Fulham.

I'm not haunted by anything carragher talks about. I'm just laughing at how terrified spurs are of us winning the league. It's just a pot of tin carragher. Arsenal and the fans have had a season of glory. No trophies to polish, but our glory is based on moments and that's better than anything.

What people have forgotten is that for the last 3 year's man city have drawn or lost on match 37 & 38 ...
& the last 2 title race final day decider games they was involved in! Was nail biters for those city fans!
I think think it's disrespectful how people is looking through West ham like city don't have to play them still or something!! West ham drew with city 2 year's ago on match day 37..
I say that to say this. People are forgotten man city cannot draw this game coming up and west ham have it in them to fight for a draw.
Now although arsenal have to win also! but we ain't got the stress of we could lose top place drawing the match!
win or draw it could still be as you were in the table if city win otherwise they're praying that Everton is doing a job on us
