- In this episode I am making my way to Etosha Heights, a private game reserve and custodian of the Black Rhino. I am very excited to ride my motorcycle "Savannah", a Honda CRF250L through this reserve - and all the animal encounters that are awaiting me! On the way, I pass another animal disease control point, and I have a rather awkward conversation there..

"Take me along ..." Yes, that is how many of us feel.
I could feel his boredom as a stand guard 💂♀️
❤❤
Right at end when elephant is walking towards you at the water hole had me in tears..
We have caused so much damage to our world and ALL LIFE that it supports.
I told you the day when you entered Namibia , you will have a great time , Namibia is a country where a piece of you will stay behind forever. THIS IS MY COUNTRY OF BIRTH ! And I am so proud that you share it with the world.....I can only say THANK YOU ❤
As an American who has been to Namibia I can attest to its beauty and the warm hospitality of it's people. Oh, and they have lamb sausage for breakfast! I know you will have an amazing time in and around Etosha. It is a country to be proud of, for sure.
I can't imagin all the memories this lady will have to look back on when she reaches her golden years. She is indeed a class act.
I know "golden years" refer to the later part of one's life but Norley's years now are pretty golden.
Needs to write a book.
That’s my thoughts exactly!
@@alanfoster6589 Yes good point made she definitely does and after viewing many of her videos I am certain she will.
@@alanfoster6589 Make that 'books' ;)
" - Take me along
- Thank you"
is a budget version of
" - I love you.
- I know."
This reminds me of that episode In FRIENDS, where
Ross: "I love you"
Emily: "Thank you"
😂😂😂
Brotherly love.😛
I wouldn't mind traveling with you.
🤣😂🤣😂
So long as Savanah is faster than the guide's motorcycle you have absolutely nothing to worry about.
It brought me to tears, to see all the wonderful world we are living in and not appreciating it enough 😢 all these innocent animals, following their instincts, trying to survive on a planet, who mankind systematically try and go on to destroy all of it.
Not any documentation had me, the way that Noraly had me. She is truly a ambassador for a better world.
She shows the crowd, that’s not all about money.
Thank you once more for what you are doing.
You amaze me 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 Ride save and go on. We desperately need more people like you!!!
Nature in itself is spectacular. Watching it through Noraly's lenses is just phenomenal as she passes on her sense of wonder, enjoyment and enthusiasm ..... Always a pleasure to watch Noraly's work...
Agree with both of you
At the watering hole, when the elephant was walking toward you in the blind, it was so amazing to watch the slow motion of the elephants very elegant walk toward you. The bend in its ankle area was like watching a ballineria on stage. This whole series is just magnificent, thank you.
Yes I totally agree, breathtakingly beautiful, what magnificent creatures, I found myself holding my breath as the elephant approached. What an amazing adventure Noraly has taken us on in her videos.
I wish all mankind could learn to appreciate and protect all of these beautiful creatures.
Why do idiots want to kill these amazing animals. I cannot understand it
@@Peter-gi3re That is easy. To make lots of money in a relative easy and short way.
an elephant never has more than 1 foot off the ground at a time
Magnificent is the right word... and that elephant footage was not in slow motion
What an experience of a lifetime! “Oh look, a zebra!”....Zebra: “oh look, the elusive Noraly and Savannah....get the camera!” Great video! Have fun,🏍🇺🇸
And then that one elephant is assigned to come over to the blind to verify they were really seeing Itchy Boots.
Haha
The way she says zebra is so funny. Love it!!
@@giles-df9yu That's the correct pronunciation - ZAY-BRA (not ZEE-BRA as Americans are wont to say). Odd that they would want to dictate the pronunciation of the name of an animal that they do not have in the West.
Cheeky small talk: "Take me along" Response: "Thank you!" LOL
The guy was stuck in work, probably bored out of his mind.
Then Noraly and Savanna go past.
I would want to go with them as well.
I'll just grab my bike, keys and helmet, then we're off.
yea, much better than _"no, thanks.."_ 🤣🤣
I am still laughing at this response
I was filled with an upwelling of anticipation as the elephant approached you in the blind. Nothing from David Attenborough ever engendered such a powerful personal response. Thank you.
I made a similar comparison on a previous video.
Noraly is the new David Attenborough.
Except she can portray things in her own unique way without camera crew and studio editing for backup.
What an amazing beautiful lady is Noraly.
Netflix is kicking themselves that they have not bagged this series
Lol she hide away. The girl just wanted to greet.
Your videos are always worth watching. I'm Namibia living in France and I watched this with a smile . I hope you will have nothing but great memories of your journey in my beautiful country.
The man at the entrance of Etosha height s conversation in Oshiwambo was like: "ijaa, she is here, she just arrived now"!😎
Actually, that was the most appropriate and kind response, even though you didn't hear him. My goodness, the view from where you stayed was phenomenal!
I was a bit concerned by that guy's body language. I'm glad she got out of there quickly.
@@Roadghost88 He wasn't threatening at all, it's quite normal for men to engage in a bit of light flirting with women travelling alone in this part of the world, it's meant as a compliment and not serious at all - obviously there are exceptions.
It's such a long time until Monday... I am looking forward for the next episode!
Wonderful - so exciting to see all those animals.
I have the upmost respect for the people who create, care for, and manage these wildlife areas. The world needs many more of them!
Fantastic episode - I share your enthusiasm Noraly!
Simply remarkable . . ..
You can't put a price tag on that kind of experience.
The scene by the water source with the elephants is truly captivating.
It's like planet earth asking where have you been.
My fave parts = the fabulous drone footage of the surrounding beauty and then the majestic, awesome elephants. They are SUCH special, intelligent, loving giants. Omgosh, when that one was checking you out in the blind - that moved my heart. What an honor! My heart also weeps at the horrors all too many of them (and all critters) endure out there. Omgosh, I wanted to hug them ALL. You are so blessed to be living as you are, but I know you know that...
~Thanks for you Noraly. Ride safe. 😍
I'm really happy for couch riding in this stunning adventure!
I see on FB that this is going to another fabulous Itchy Boots adventure! I can’t wait to watch and enjoy seeing some African wildlife through Noraly's camera lens. Let's go!
My dream since I was. Skittle kid was to go-to the Serengeti I see the elephants and rhinos in their natural habitat. Watching that elephant walk up to you brought a year to my eye. How amazing . They are such majestic animal's
The chances of seeing these animals in such a vast land is quite minimal... I would advice on conservancies like Lewa... OL pajeta ... Ol Jogi.... In Kenya... For maasai Mara and Serengeti... wild beast migration is key especially around now....
Yes
I cannot express the joy I feel going along on this magical journey. I feel so blessed. Thank you, Noraly 💛
So much beauty in Namibia. Watching the elephant noticing you made me cry. 💗
Your adventure continues to amaze and inspire. You are truly an ambassador of good will and kindness. 💕
.....the JOY that you find in living makes my day 😊👍
Oh my! The amount of quality video footage you will have later to look back on is just staggering. And to think you have all edited this yourself to share it with us, I SAY THANK YOU ❤️
"thank you" lol These are the embarrassing moments that wake me up in the middle of the night 10 years later.
When a man pays a compliment to a lady, and she says "Thank you", that is true courtesy.
Aye right, leave us with the perfect cliffhanger over the weekend! :op ^^)
That is the fourth perfect place your staying at. The Thailand treehouse, the swedish pod on the lake, the lodge in Namib desert and now the Etosha lodge. This place is just Wow, wow and then some more wows! Beautiful!
That’s actually a very good top 4 of places I stayed that you put together! 😅😊
The ‘Pod on the lake’ was an especially difficult to find on the satellite views in Google Maps, in that the imagery was quite dated with the pod being placed well after the photos were taken. I do enjoy following along, and looking at the images posted in the same area by vacationers and business owners. Quite educational, but difficult when Noraly heads off-road!
@@ItchyBoots Well, these are the places that are easy to remember, which is for a reason. They were out off this world-kind of great. ^^)
@@davidpackard1862 That means, you say you found all of them? O.o
I’m not sure about the Thailand location . . . having been hooked starting with the South American adventure, I was late coming to the Itchy Boots party. I’ll have to back-track to the starting point in India, but that will be something to look forward to. Most of the time I can find the starting point, destination, and perhaps a few waypoints during the trip. Quite easy when Google Maps has satellite imagery and street views, but I’ve not found any location in Namibia with GM street views, just images posted by shop keepers. Northern Europe, South Africa, and the larger cities in South America had quite good coverage. I think one of my ‘best finds’ was the ‘cocoa break’ location in Iceland. In that case both the GM satellite and street view images came before the building, so that took some inference. What episode has the ‘tree house’?
You must have been excited for the day, as "Let's Go", replaced "Good Morning internet!" 😄 Loved the video.
@15:20 the Elephant's slow approach indicates curiosity / nothing aggressive . It just wanted to say Hello. It will likely remember you for a long time . . . . . .
I had such a great experience in Etosha Park a few years ago. We came across a whole herd of Elephants crossing the road and nearly collided with Giraffes, as we were speeding around a bend in the road as we were late getting into the camp before they close the gate for the night.
Spectacular videography at 15:20.. classic Itchy Boots, can't explain why, but I got teary-eyed...each of the three times I viewed it. Thank you Noraly, you are the Netherlands gift to all of us who love nature for its beauty and elegance.
same for me! I agree!
Me too :)
Wow. Getting up close and personal with Jumbo at that hide👍
Wow I love it, Just adding another thing to my growing bucket list, staying in the middle of a South African game reserve with no fences between you and the animals, Fantastic
" The Lion, The Lion,
he dwells in the Waste,
He has a big head and a very small waist;
but his shoulders are stark
and his jaws they are grim,
and a good little child
will not play with Him." =))
Noraly has such a childlike joy. If only we all could look at the world thru eyes that see the wonder and the positive and the good!! We can learn a lot from people like her!
Norley, you are such a strong woman & a great role model for
*young ladies all over the world.
And for men too!
Girl or boy🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Older women also! I'm 65.
@@emilye126 You are correct & I'm truly sorry for not including all people. In my rush to leave a message, I didn't include everyone. So I'm trying to leave positive messages early so she can see them & hopefully keep her inspired. Because she inspires us ALL!!!

Noraly, do you realize how many people want to go with you? That would be nearly 100% of your subscribers. Thanks to your videos, we get to experience a small part of it. Thank you!
P.S. I rode 454 miles/730 km over the last two days.
The really big question is: Is Savannah faster than a charging lion? If not, you bring a whole new meaning to “meals on wheels.”
thats my concern bro
Yeah cause the park guard followed her and she stated that motorcycles are not allowed in the park.
Funny cuz lions fear humans ..unless attacked or provoked they won't bother sum1 cycling
I find that elephants are majestic animals. I can only imagine what it’s like see them in the wild. Thank you for videoing so we too can see what nature has for us. 👍👍🇨🇦
You are just an amazing young woman !
Its your generation that gives an old guy like me HOPE !
Danke schön Noraly😍
Thanks again for continuing sharing your thoughts and footage with us, I know by experience how much work it is to make, edit and uploading your film is! Keep up the good work.
You are a wonderful abasador for s bikers. And here in Holland we usefully we stop for a zebra…..
EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD LEADER
This channel is amazing! 🇧🇷
Oh WOW!!! That footage of the elephant was phenomenally beautiful. Thank you for taking us along with you.
The game reserve is absolutely phenomenal. The ending scene by the water hole was very surreal. The elephants and other wildlife are just another step in your adventure. Ride safe Noraly!
The elephant came over to say, " HI ! " & Noraly ducked behind the wall . Well, it was rather large . . . . . but it's slow approach would indicate a lack of aggression & most likely curiosity . Still , very cool ! !
I hope she got a good discount. Etosha Heights is £665 per night.
The officer said “take me along” as probably 500.000 viewers are thinking:)
He probably said : I love 💘 you.😛
500,001 viewers 😀
Smart Noraly. Just said thank you. 😂😂
Always refreshing to watch itchy boots!!
Hi, From about 1860 missionaries from Finland brought christianity to northern NAM, some finnish words have found their way into the Oshiwanbo language, so it is no coincidence that moro is used throughout NAM , as many other tribes also speak Oshiwambo, Happy travels
Hi John, I am Namibian.
Interesting.. Is "moro" finish?
Moro is actually used in finnish language as a greeting. Thats why I was really confused first time I heard her say that because Im finnish 😃
Oh my goodness, Elephants...such a majestic animal👌👌
Waiting for next episode to see more..👍
Folks, get your popcorn and beverages ready because the next episode is going to spectacularly spectacular. More so than usual.
Thanks for taking us along. You’ve really changed my understanding of Namibia, after a lot of documentaries convinced me it was nothing but desert I now understand if is a lot more complex. The whole African journey has been excellent, I think the best series so far.
I agree.
What a beautiful Lodge!
Another great episode, thanks..
Noraly gets me so excited to see wild animals!!!
You are an international treasure that should be shared with especially the youth around the world because our future rests with them
They really should create a SuperLike button 💕💕❤️❤️
Super episode, Noraly!
I think that elephant knew that you were in the blind, and wanted to meet you.
Next episode teaser was a plus!

The last image with the elephant drinking in the waterhole....amazing.
Lions.....perhaps tomorrow! All the best for you Noraly.
Ciao Edoardo
Amazing video! Really felt like I was there with you. Love your excitement when spotting the zebras.
Incredible the way the elephant came straight towards you with the seriene background music. Fantastic as always!
Amazing to see the friendly curious elephant approach Noraly. Must have been a wee bit frightening because I notice she backed off a bit.
Natural beauty and an escape from the troubled world we live in. Your positivity and kindness is infectious. Thank you.
Your videos just keep getting better every time. Thank you
Noraly, watching the African wildlife through your lens beats any National Geographic or Discovery documentary.. BRAVO!!
Yet again you have topped the last 2 videos Noraly. How do you do it? The elephants at the waters edge is exquisite. In your short life you are managing to fit into your life what most of us would only see 1% of. You are so lucky. To live life while your young. Explore, be an adventurer. The video of the elephants is worth more than a diamond from the diamond mines. Amazing!
Noraly😂😂😂the guy at etosha height gate's phone conversation....."yes she is here, she just arrived now"
Thriller begins now...wild. The elephant came so close. Wow. God bless you. Stay safe. 👌👌👌👍👍👍
He could smell a kind friendly scent but was startled by those big beautiful blue eyes when he got too close. Guessing Norally's eyelashes are bigger than the elephant 👍😉
Episode where elephant tries to get autograph from Noraly! What a great place to stay... best shower in Africa? Looking forward to the next thrilling video!
The elephant walking towards the hide brought tears to my eyes.
Such timeless grace and beauty.
-Just another old man and his dog
Watching you from Canada. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Absolutely amazing!! You are living the dream, my dream anyway. I Absolutely love elephants 🐘. Absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much for taking us along 💕
Thank you for yet another great episode, Noraly!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip you are on with us.
Good afternoon Noraly, from Derbyshire England. 😊😊😊
Watching your channel is like hiking up a mountain, the view gets better all the time. Thrilling episode. Not fair.... you've left us hanging over the weekend. Safe travels.
Amazing footage of those elephants. Can't wait for the next episode to see more wildlife. Thank you for sharing this amazing trip.
The elephants, trees, water and reflections was such a sight, I was half expecting it to start turning into a Salvador Dali painting.
Geweldig, de Olifanten. Ik heb er mooie herinneringen aan. In mijn jonge jaren heb ik een jaar lang twee olifanten verzorgd in een circus. Nooit zal ik dat vergeten. Geweldige beesten. WoW !! Love it.
Where are we going today.
" This is crazy."
The best adventure by far.. Noraly and Savanna will like the lush green from Etosha National Park.
I love watching your footage. You inspire me! Never missed an episode xo
La spontanéité magistrale avec laquelle elle réagit adéquatement à chaque situation me fascine.quelle grandeur !
I long for the Bush again. A few years ago I had the privilege of spending some time in the Okovango delta area and saw many elephants, your video brings back many good memories.
WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! What a spectacular episode ! Absolutely amazing thank you so much, Noraly :)
I can´t blame the guy,- I would wanna 🏍 along with her too 😊 ...
What a wonderful way to end the video, Noraly. I'm so happy that you are getting to have all these amazing experiences. Go live life to the fullest for the rest of us who, for whatever personal reasons, aren't able to. At least we get to live vicariously through you. Much love from Hawaii . . .
Amazing shot of those "antlers" of the tree poking out of the waterhole.
what can I say... no words... just WOW!! It's like watching a BBC Earth documentary! Big thanks to you Noraly!
Wow, riding your bike into the game park. Brings back memories (60 years ago) of us going on safari in the Serengeti when I was a boy in my dads car during school holidays, we were not allowed to get out, mind you we were too scared, my sister and I clicking away with out little Kodak brownies, black and white pictures. Look forward to next episode to seeing some animals. Even when we went up to the Ngorongoro crater, a natural watering hole in the dry season, we had to go in one of the parks land rovers, but as the animals were used to us we did get quite close.
Another wonderful video! Thank you!
another great video looking forward to the next one hope to see some more animal's enjoy every moment
I heard Savannah mumble "Lion's, dogs I can handle but Lion's"
OMG where is this crazy woman taking me ?
LOL 🤣😂
You forgot the peanuts 🥜at 15:50
