Glad you're ok.
This is what is called civilization. It's not huge glass buildings, fast cars and planes. It is dropping everything to help a total stranger and not expecting any payment. It is treating every human being like your brother or sister.
Well said.
Good poin
Very well said 🧡
Correct 💯 percent
"dropping everything to help a stranger" are my favorite side quests while traveling. And other people love to help me as well, no matter where I go. keep your attitude dude and share it to people. We have to much racism again lately

Hello, my name is Jim, and I live on the west coast of BC Canada. I am sure there is nothing original I can add to the comments, but I will say this. I am 72 years old, and took up back country riding and camping about 4 and a half years ago. I ride a Suzuki DR 650, and after watching Noraly's ride through Alaska and the Youkon, it inspired me to do just that. I rode from Vancouver BC to Tuktoyuktuk NWT and back, taking as many dirt roads as possible in the time frame I had. I was gone 40 days, camped 30 nights widerness camping, and rode 11000 kms. Noraly was the inspiration to do this, and she has my utmost respect and gratitude for demonstrating the courage to step outside ones comfort zone. Next year my younger brother Mark and myself will truck our bikes to Yuma AZ and then ride Copper canyon MX. Thank you again Noraly for the inspiration. From all of us you inspire, we wish you a speedy and complete recovery.
After all I’ve seen with you girl I cannot believe that a medical room caused the most damage. God’s speed in your recovery.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I was thinking exactly the same comment! She’s so tough entire continents couldn’t bring her down and it took a surgeon in a hurry to stop her. Unbelievable 😖
Sala médica na HOLANDA, 😢😢😢😢 ....na HOLANDA diga-se de passagem..😅😅😅😅😅😅
No surprise for me. After a urological surgery I could not lift one of my arms for over 2 years: Wrong bedding from the surgical table to the gurney, nerve pinched in the cervical vertebra area most probably as my head was not supported properly still being with anesthesia. No help afterwards. Only almost daily swimming in a heated outdoor pool helped finally after having tried docs and physiotherapists for over a year unsuccessfully. Lucky not to have caught multi-resistant hospital germs aka MRSA. If you want to stay healthy, better stay away from hospitals, if possible of course.
This woman's work ethic is on another level. Five years traveling the world creating content for us to enjoy, breaks her collarbone and while laying on a hospital bed with a collapsed lung..."uh one more thing I wrote a book by the way".
I need to get my ass off the couch!🤣
Noraly you're an inspiration to us all. Get well soon!
Too true, she’s absolutely remarkable..
😢😢😢 so sorry my sister Noraly but with the power of God I know you gonna be okey so soon. And with your energy am sure you gonna get cured so fst be well Noraly say hi to your patients for us

Thank you Tanzanian doctors
This gives so much hope to see this kind of kindness and non selfishness. It warms my heart deeply. ❤
Tanzanians are great.
I love my motherland Africa ✊🌍,, you could imagine how caring we are right? For people to cancel their daily mission just to get you help.. that's massive 🎉❤... I wish you a quick recovery dear❤❤❤... One love from Nigeria 🇳🇬🎉
Seeing our Noraly in this condition surely pained so many of us. By far her hardest injury since getting on you tube. We all wish her a speedy recovery and fast rehab. Thank you for many videos over the years and we await your return.
she is one tough lady punctured lung and didnt even know. she is a trooper.
Yes I agree.....Honestly I have been riding my whole life. And there is a rule we have always had. For good reasons. NEVER RIDE BY YOURSELF......always ride at least in pairs. Because ANYTHING can happen. Not to be disrespectful or a downer to the channel But Even with my experience riding motorcycles more than 45 years. I would never Try any of this. Simply because of the risk of the most simple thing happening that could put you off the bike, Break downs, So many things that could take your life. if it was me I would recruit riders to ride a leg with me to make a safer trip. I really like your channel, I have been watching you since about 200k subs and I would like to see you live a long life. Please listen when I say this. Get a partner......or post your planned rides on your website and recruit riders to ride a leg with you. Even if you want them to ride behind a bit.....It is for your safety. PLEASE.....
Although the Africa leg came to an abrupt ending we are very relieved to know you're safe, it could've been far worse, please take as much rest as possible, we are all praying for your speedy recovery which I'm sure you will cause you're noraly after all !!
We are all so glad to see you well! Sometimes one is so lucky and you are, deservedly so! Be well get well and we will see in good health! On to the next destination!
Graças a Deus vc está bem Noraly
knowing she was usually a month or more ahead of her posted episodes was what kept me calm. lol
Yeah, the African leg 😢
I was worried about predators when I lay there for a full half hour... Thank God everything went peacefully
This is the adventure and this is its taste, it is fun sometimes and harsh at other times, and it is unfortunate that the end of the Africa trip in this way we hoped it would end in Egypt, for example!
In general it was a year full of Noraly beautiful smile and we always accompanied you thank you iron woman 🌹
We'll miss your return in October if we stay alive. I was also at the doctor's today, and it looks like it's very 😢 bad.
See you Noraly❤

I’m happy to see a place where people still care enough to take of a stranger. How touching is that ?God bless them all🙏✌️❤️🇺🇸
Two things that i love... 1. your tenacity and resilience 2. common people are kind everywhere period !! Get well soon Noraly !!
"common people are kind everywhere period" seems weird almost bad that passing strangers and friends offer better care than those in a 1st world nation who are paid to actually care.
I love your resilience, your attitude to life it is what it is.
Love watching your tours videos , i love what you said new bike new season . Better, stronger and wiser be safe .
@@philhunt9297That is such a bullshit generalisation. The majority of the people who devote their life to healthcare very much care about their patients.

Pronta recuperación!!! Te esperaremos de regreso!!! Te vamos a extrañar cada semana!!!❤
From desolate deserts to lush jungle, small villages to big cities, mud pits to highways, small mouse lemurs to huge elephants, riding deserted roads to literally getting run off the road…you have shown us that Africa is a land of diversity, extreme adventure, and beautiful people. Season 7 didn’t end how you envisioned it, but the journey was a masterpiece. It has been an absolute pleasure “riding” along with you. Thank you, Noraly. My thoughts and prayers are with you 🙏🏼 Sending much love from Texas ❤
Hear, hear! I think I've learned more geology, geography and languages to say hello and thank you than all my years of schooling offered. Because of Noraly's videos, I can now correctly point out almost all of the countries in both Africa and South/Central America, as well as have a picture in my mind of how the country and the people are. I sure could not do that before!
Hi Noraly, so good to see you’re safe and sound again in The Netherlands. Whatever happens you always push through with a smile,e on your face! Thanks for all the episodes showing us your journey through Africa. I will miss the regular updates! Can’t wait for the next season, but in the mean time I wish you a speedy recovery.
Absolutely agree! We look forward to each and every episode!
You act like she is the first person to travel through africa and document the journey. No mention of motorcycling, or any reflection on the seriousness of her injuries she has incurred over the last few years. I find this very odd, and other worldly...."crashing a motorcycle is part of the adventure"?...or is it?
Curati e riposati per bene....poi se avrai intenzione di fare altro....qualsiasi cosa ti verrà in mente sarà emozionante
Ciaooooo
Bless you, Noraly. And bless those kind souls who came to your rescue. How ironic, that you flew back to the Netherlands for surgery, only to have the surgeon and the radiologist
screw it up, damage your lung, and not notice what they'd done. You might have been better off if you'd had the surgery in Tanzania. But that's water under the bridge. Heal up, rest,
and take care of yourself. I look forward to season 8, to an English translation of your book,
and to whatever new adventures you have planned. How terribly unfortunate, that all this
hardship came crashing down on you.
ironically, Tanzania Doctors may have done a better job
@@deusdedittusubira315 I'm pretty sure of that, unfortunately what the so called "third world" is capable of doing, it will always be looked down on by most developed countries. So sad!
Get well from a 73 year old who has broken a third of the bones in his body over a 55 year love affair with dirt bikes , and still rides Hare Scrambles in a class for men over 70. Fortunately never had to have anything more than a total knee replacement . I love following your adventures around the world , but I do believe there are some place worth circumventing. Get well 🌻.
Have been a silent viewer for over 5 years and have travelled the world with you Noraly!
Heal up and take your time. You have lifelong admirers all over the world.
this are as well my thoughts; get well soon Norely; also a warm but gently hug 🤗
These people where so helpful! Imagine aborting your plans for the day and driving a stranger for 5 hours to get them help. And the guy who drove Alaska, that's so kind. Even in this pain there is love.
Humanity ❤ there are beautiful people on this earth, thanks to Noraly for showing them and restoring our faith in humanity. Thanks to all the amazing African people for their kindness and care!
Let us hope for her speedy recovery. I live in US. Here they will not transport me anywhere unless I guarantee payment with a credit card. The doctor will not see me without paying him first. If I have trouble paying, the bills, the collecting agencies will come after me and my credit will be ruined. It will take decades to regain financial ground. It is a living hell for accidental health emergencies in US. People say Africa is third world, it is not! Only sad thing is Africans, Asians, and others are copying the American ways...
Noraly, your channel is the perfect antidote to the news we get every day, showing that there are people everywhere who are good, kind people full of love and ready to do anything for someone who needs their help. We should always remember that governments are not their countries, and that so often the ordinary people live their lives in spite of what their governments do or don't do.
Bless you for being a ray of sunshine in the lives of all you meet, and in ours ❤
"she's been riding this motorcycle for a long time, and she just fell and broke her collarbone, despite being in full MX gear. I'll drive it for her, for 5 hours, in the wrong direction, into a storm, in a t-shirt". The only explanation is that she met Tanzanian Chuck Norris.
Norally, you are an amazing human being. In pain and disappointment, your character still shines. You make that incident so light when it was really serious. You calm spirit radiates through your videos.
God, it is crazy how vulnerable you were on the ground there. Thank God you got good people
On a motorcycle trip to Alaska in 2008 I blew up the engine just south of the Yukon Territory line. A really nice couple stopped and gave me a ride (about 10 miles) to the nearest truck stop. From there 3 truckers helped me go back to get the motorcycle, bring it back to the truck stop. There it got loaded on the back of one driver’s Kenworth and hauled me and the bike to Anchorage (1,000 miles?). I got dropped off there and 3 days later the same trucker (who had made a run to Fairbanks) picked me up and decided he would give me a ride back to Great Falls, MT (where my trip started). 2,495 miles back. THERE ARE SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE OUT THERE.
Yes and Noraly has shown countless times most friendly helpful people are found away from big cities out in rural areas, no matter what country!
In 2008 yes.
In 2024, ppl aint so nice anymore. (In the west)
Ps…. You know you’re loved when over 80,000 people have watched this video in only the first two hours❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well, what about 275,000 views in 5 hours? That is pretty impressive as well.
And it would be so many more if the whole world was awake when the video was posted.

🤔
In a hotel room in Tanzania: "I don't want do to surgery here.... I'm going to fly back to the Netherlands and do surgery there"
In a hospital bed in the Netherlands: "they punctured my lung .... they just gave me a lot of pain killers and sent me home .... they also cut my nerves so I don't have any feeling here any more".
Note to self: If you ever get hurt in the Netherlands, fly to Tanzania for surgery!
Great to hear you are on the mend Noraly and look forward to your continuing adventures. Rest up. Mend.
Thanks for all that you do for us, that we are unable to do ourselves.
Now this is funny comment as well as a reality check

Noraly, so sorry about your injuries. I have first hand experience (too many!) of broken bones, so I understand how painful it can be. How you managed to make content while lying in the mud, fly halfway across the world and even after your surgical complications is an inspiration. Your strength and courage are simply remarkable. Take as much time as you need to recover physically and, even more importantly, mentally. Your fans adore you and we'll be patient until you are ready for Season 8. Love and Peace.
They punctured her lung , and some days later she is telling us all about it, this woman is a living legend🥺
maybe she Tanzanian surgeons would of done a better job. 2 weeks on pain killers before surgery ...says a lot about the state of Dutch health care system. @TequilaMotorsandTravel Are they really? lol. No. The Netherlands ranks above the USA is every healthcare index rating but I guess if you are rich enough in the US you can buy the best of anything. If not then bad luck about that.
That’s crazy. I expected that they would’ve taken her right away for surgery. I expected more from her own country and yet they let her down.
Noraly, you are truely an inspiration to myself and countless others. Your tenacity and kindness are evident in every one of the 650 episodes you've released. You're a shining example of dedication to chase your dreams. You inspire me to be kinder and help those in need. You inspire us more than you know. 💛
WOW, thank you for shareing. Thank God for careing people and that hopefully your body will recover. Miracles happen and you have a angel on your shoulder. What goes around comes around. God Bless Norally my dear.
Wow, what a strong lady! Despite all the damage, she is still smiling and committed to what she is doing. At the end of the video, when she said, "I will be back and back stronger," it brought tears to my eyes. God bless you, give you health, and a quick recovery!♥

As a physician I cannot help but comment your medical care is a new level of incompetence.
Exactly. Seems like anytime people are futzing around with sharp stuff near the apices, that a good look at the xray might be in order. Apparently not.
You lie. You are not a physician.
@@Charlie1776_ tell me how you know Robert is not a physician.
Exactly, but she's too kind to even mention that. They might have done a better job in Tanzania.
@@Charlie1776_ I really hope that in making your well qualified assertion, you now feel elevated and empowered. Dr Dillard has nothing to prove to you or any of us. What he said was spot on. Best get on with your homework laddie.
WOW-WOW-WOW.... absolutely WONDERFUL People!!!!Thank you to ALL your Helpers!!!🙏🇦🇺
Endured the ORIF surgery on my left collar bone over a year ago after a mountain bike endo in an urban setting. At the age of 55, I love motorbikes, but may limit my activities on them from now on. May you recover fully in time!
Australia here Noraly. You have no reason to explain your choices. We will miss you so much you have brightened so many lives. It is now time for you to take care of yourself. Please keep us updated on your new book (English version release). Take care you are an inspiration to us all.
Australia next stop?????
@@CarpetCrawlerNumber7ohhhh i hope so...🤞
I'm glad you are recovering steadily. Thank you for the great adventure and experiences you shared with us. Much love from Zambia - Africa
The difference between Europe and Africa: i crashed in the middle of the night in Belgium and got stuck under my bike for half an hour. Three cars passed, nobody stopped or called for help. Finally i had to force my broken hand under the bike into my pocket to get my phone and call the police (they were there in about just five minutes!). People in Europe will let you die on the side of the road. In Africa they will cancel their whole day to help you. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery! :)
I crashed on my bicycle in Toronto, Canada on an icy road. While I was lying on the road three cars just drove around me...but I was OK.
I also crashed in Belgium ended in a road side ditch. no injury but maybe vehicle number 15 stopped to help me.
I live in Thailand and vehicle number 1 will stop for sure to help.
I agree it's less likely to get help from ordinary people in Europe. Hard to imagine doctors that will leave their itinerary to take care of a foreigner. But then there are systems in place like ambulance to call in Europe
Yes. Africans are CIVILIZED in the true sense of that word. Cannot say the same for Europeans.
I totally agree to that. Spent 3 years in South Africa and the people will do everything to help you doesn’t matter what the plan for the day was. Had an accident on the bike in Germany and the one who passed just complained that I block the lane. It’s insane!!!
Get well soon my love …world needs people like you to provide courage and hope .❤❤
So sorry you took such a bad spill! I agree with others who say just take this time to rest and recuperate. Sometimes, it takes a huge slap in the face to realize we need to slow down a little. I hope your injuries heal well and that you feel much better soon! I look forward to reading your book. You are an awesome person and an inspiration to us all.
The most amazing thing about Noraly is her attitude. She is always finding the bright spot in the clouds and moving toward it. Godspeed with your recovery!
You're one tough lady. No panic after the crash, no crying, no complaining, all business. Prayers for fast and complete healing.
Bless you Ma’am, I for one am glad you are now safe and healing.
I send you all my best wishes for your fast recovery! I hope to see you with the power and the happiness that characterices you very soon! A big big hug from Spain!
As a doctor, i just kept developing goosebumps as the story progressed. The bumpy ride in pain, the punctured lung. Wishing you a speedy recovery with no more complications. You make us women proud by showing how brave and resilient we can be. Stay strong!!!. My Wednesday and Sunday evenings will be very dull now. But you need the time to heal and we are praying for you. Take care!!! Love, a Nigerian who has been watching you in Saudi Arabia.
I am so grateful to all of the doctors and health workers out there. Also, the people who have developed the incredible technology that makes it possible to recover after these types of injuries.
Dr Amina, your comments are my thoughts exactly. Wishing our amazing sister only the best and good rest
No one, absolutely no one has ever before shown what so much of the world is like at ground level! Thank you, Noraly.
"At ground level". Excellent way of putting it.
Perfectly worded.
As I struggled to come up with a proper comment.
Ik hoop dat je snel hersteld! Je reis is fantastisch en je bent wel een doorzetter! I hope you will recover soon and see you back on CZcams! Many greetings from The Netherlands and a big hug!
Congratulations with your book! You're a true adventurer and a great inspiration. It's well deserved to take a time-out. Take care.
I'm happy to see you made it to the hospital. Thanks to the three lovely people that helped you. I love all people of the world.
second that!
all the people that helped really
Same! Love to one and all!❤❤
I bet she would get a better surgery over there than in the Netherlands.
@@german_novotiable
I second that, no doubt about it.
Also, waiting 2weeks for the surgery was so wrong...
Props to my fellow Africans for going the extra mile helping you. The Motherland is taking care of our visitors! I follow your channel over the last 2 years. My Dear - please take your time; I hope the recovery process will pass smoothly and long enough; God Bless! You are so very inspiring!
She might have been better off having surgery in Africa. Having lived in both Southern Germany and the Southern US (Texas) this is what so many Americans with the "grass is always greener" complex just refuse to accept, that the healthcare in much of Europe is absolutely abysmal. I was neglected in a Germany hospital with four people per room separated by a curtain, nurses would take an hour to come after alerted and then apologize they are understaffed, and the amount of mistakes and lack of funding are so apparent. Then I was in Texas which I had heard was horrible for healthcare and I was treated like a queen in the most amazing facilities and staff and with my own private room that was so clean and modern.
@@BoopSnootSouth Africa has one of the best healthcare sectors in the world, so yeah I agree with you… I’d feel far safer going to a Tanzanian hospital than a Dutch one personally, but that’s just me.
@@BoopSnoot i can tell you that European healthcare if its public hospitals then its very bad.
I have experience from 2 countries, Slovenia and Denmark.
In Denmark we have free healthcare but its worse than you would expect, and they dont care about you, many people have died for this reason, sending people home without proper evaluation. I can write a book about it. Its so sad.
Hope you have a speedy recovery. Take time out for yourself, and I look forward to looking at your new CZcams videos when your fully rested. Best wishes from Ireland.

Doctors come by in the middle of nowhere and take you to the hospital. God has your back, and you are certainly keeping your guardian angel busy. We're sending up prayers for your recovery. Thank you for all the adventures you share with us❤.
Guardian Angel (Singular?) IDK, but it wouldn't surprise me if she had a whole army of them!
I don't know if the doctors came for rescue because Noraly did have Garmin InReach rescue service as shown in her video of the accident where she did mange to send a SOS

I wish you all the best, a fast recovery and looking forward to your new adventures. Greetings from Greece.
I AM TOTALLY SPEECHLESS !!! YOU ARE A INSPIRATION 🎉❤
Noraly is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise negative world. Most of her followers are incapable of modeling her adventures but continue to live vicariously thru her. Her attitude, discipline, and sense of adventure create a safe space for us twice a week. I will miss her immensely until October and wish her a rapid and complete recovery.
Perfectly said, thank you!
Absolutely!
She is a kind of modern day saint or angel! Lots of peiple experiencing this!
I’m shocked. I’m 77. I have been riding 60 years. I have followed you from the beginning. I started crying when I started watching this. Get well soon
Same here. 76 and still riding too.
Did you REALLY start crying? REALLY?
Me too, I had tears in my eyes !!
Only 70 here and riding (quads) for 20 years. I bow to you sir. I've been watching from almost the beginning. I have a daughter 19 months older than Noraly and it as if she was filming this episode. My heart too is broken by Noraly's suffering.
Crying? Man up old lad
Best wishes for your recovery. I’ve lived vicariously through your exploits, and am an unconditional fan.
