- Part two of the Northern Presidential tour from Feb 21, 2017. Traversed over to the summit of Mount Jefferson from Adams eastern snowfields and skied down to the base of Jefferson Ravine via Stealth Gully. Followed up with a run down the Jefferson Headwall (Zig-Zag), back up Stealth and over to "Hamstring Chute" which slid recently (Irene 2011?). Jefferson reliably has good snow late into spring so it's worth a tour even into May.
Just catching this in 2020. Your skiing through Hamstring Chute was impeccable my guy. Real tight line, sick though. Cheers
SO MUCH STOKE!! The snow looks like it was great for the most part❤️❤️
Wow. You are an excellent skier dude!
I would be too afraid of loosing a ski or kicking off an avalanche to do that.
Great video! Thanks for posting.

Love it man! I will have to check that stuff out next winter.
Great video, thanks!
Love the Bluebird skies !
Want to hit this next weekend looks awesome
Savage as dude
sick dude
Conditions looks minty.
Nice ! How were the wind slabs?
passeporturbain solid. I was cautious on Hamstring because of the big crown but it was fairly old. Plenty of debris at the bottom though. This was at the tail end of our 3 week run of amazing skiing in Feb - this day hit 38°F on the summit and was t-shirt weather below treeline.
Nice ...where's the trailhead for that!
Mark Murphy hmm, dealers choice. That day I took the valley way trail.
You lost one of your Ultimate Direction water thingys around 2:51.
Really good edit!
Taigadog03 yup, had to stop and get it - luckily it stopped in sight.
What length Hannibals are you skiing on?
These were 176. I've been skiing 183s since last spring.
Do you think there is gonna be enough snow in tukerman sunday ?
bat vcam definitely. I'll be up there.
It's gonna be my first time snowboarding that moutain, how much time it takes noramly to get on top of the tukerman ravine ?
2-3 hours to Hermit Lake. Another 1.5-2 hours to the top of the bowl depending on the line you choose.
Check out Time for Tuckerman for a good hiking and descent guide. Best go with a buddy if its your first time.
