Tuckerman Ravine - Left Gully to Pinkham

- Early season tour up to the bowl to suss out the conditions. Poked around left gully to assess the snow pack. Wind-loaded but felt confident of the stability. Made a couple small laps before skiing a top to bottom run.

The speed you carry on that narrow section from the ravine to the cabin is so insane. gets my heart racing.
Narrower skis need to run faster to stay on top of light snow. That was some dry looking snow, maybe not champagne, perhaps sparkling powder.
@@stevedoe1630 No matter the snow conditions, that section of trail is narrow, rocky, and treelined, and he booked it. Hats off to a good skier.
Great skiing, but that part looked sped up. He makes slalom turn like I dream about. Love the dog!

I climbed Washington today and I noticed a really cool truck topper on one of the trucks in the parking lot. I just happened to watch this video tonight and realized it was your truck. Ha, small world I guess. Nice topper man! And great vid too!

Early bird. Nice looking conditions up top and slidable (barely) to the lot! I can't ski the trail like that because if I encountered someone I would be too afraid of wrecking myself.
Definitely a slow day up there. Only the Rangers had been up to the bowl so we were fairly confident that we wouldn't encounter anyone on the trail. It's clear why skiing is prohibited on the TRT!
I'm waiting for someone to do a video review on the Travers Carbon boots. If you have a minute it would be sweet to hear your thoughts.
