- You can record your screen using PowerPoint. This powerful feature lets you record your screen and export it to an MP4 video for use anywhere. No need to purchase screen recording software or learn a complex application when you can do it all with PowerPoint.

Great My Test
Thank you sir, this will help me immensely in my university presentations. ❤
Great!
I also like to use the record presentatoin feature. Then converting (saving as) the file to MP4 one can even upload it into a youtube channel.
Great tutorial!! Is it possible to chose the sound source(s)? I have a PC webcam with microphone and a USB microphone. I want to use the USB and the PC soubd at the same time. Thanks again
PowerPoint uses the default sound source as input so you have to set the one you want as default in the Windows Sound settings.
1st viewer
Good luck
Well done
Can I record a webinar that I watch on my computer?
Yes, it will record anything shown on the screen.
Hi Sele,
I enjoyed your power point recording. I am a swim coach and sometimes I need to show a swimmers video clip with my feedback. How do I import the video from hard drive and as it is recording to power point record my feedback at the same time.
I tried to see if I have an option to play the video from hard drive and put the voice feedback I could not figure it out.
Your help as always with your CZcams presentation is much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Khosro
You can insert a video into a slide in PowerPoint. Go to Insert-Video-This Device. Then go to Recording-Audio-Record Sound to record your voiceover. Then you can place both together on the same slide. Then go to Playback to set the options for automatic playback or looping.
@@SeleTraining amazing respond
I tried to record a webinar and did not have the sound (only ambiant sound through my laptop microphone). What should I do to record the sound of the webinar?
PowerPoint uses the Windows default recording device as input when you record your screen. In the sound settings on your PC make sure to set the output channel as your recording device.
I just upgraded to the premium online version of Microsoft 365 hoping it would enable the "Export to video" option in my File choices. That didn't work. Also cannot customize the "Review" tab. Are these functions not available on this platform? How do I get my $6.99 back? :-)
I also tried to download my presentation from the cloud to my old computer where I have the full version of Powerpoint and I have exported as videos before. The file is totally corrupt. It will open but with no discernable content. Do I have to go back and start this whole thing over again on my desktop version of PPT?
The online version does not have all of the same options. If you have the right version of Microsoft 365 you can go to your login at office.com and you will see an option to "Install Office" at the top. That will install the applications locally to your computer and you'll get those extra features. Even the basic paid versions of Microsoft 365 will allow the local install. You can actually get the online only version for free. Your old computer may be an older version of PowerPoint that cannot read the newer file.
@@SeleTraining Thank you, thank you, thank you! Just the answer I was looking for to save me hours of time redoing that puppy. You earned your paycheck today. :-)
How to brush up any in powerpoint??
Check out my playlist of PowerPoint videos: czcams.com/play/PLLXmgYx8DeQzXmcoL7rhLK8PG6VT7tET1.html

Please write all points in description
Not much to add for this video. It's just one main topic.
Powerpoint screen recording can capture both your voice and screen presentation right?
Yes, but it uses the default sound setting. It does not give you an option to select the input. You'll need to set your Windows sound default to one you want to use.
@@SeleTraining you mean the Windows 10 default settings?
@@upvendgroup Yes
@@SeleTraining Thank you so much for the help Sele ! ;)
