In this VA claims academy video we discuss the near unlimited amount of toxic exposure TERA VA disability claims that can be filed based on backed evidence and acknowledgement from the VA for military occupational hazards and exposures. if you were on the fence with filing your via disability claim because you were not specifically listed and covered under the PACT Act, this video aims to illustrate that your story should still be told and it is possible to set the record straight even without additional legislation.

My first thought was all the old WW II barracks that most older vets have lived and worked in, Fort Polk, Fort Chaffee, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort MacArthur, and I still remember the asbestos covered furnaces that gave us all hot water at Fort McCoy. Asbestos all around.

Sucks you have cancer, sorry to hear. Seems it takes HLR’s to fix denials these days.
I had to do an HLR recently and they reversed the denial also.
Seems you can have a mountain of evidence, filling all the squares, yet they deny.
I have come to the conclusion it all stems in the initial reviewer.
I had quite a few they put into the TERA box when I wasn’t claiming it for exposure, but that DTA kicked in. Of course they don’t tell you that when you attend the C&P exam.

Sand and tabasco are what we used for seasoning our MREs in Afghanistan and Iraq. Burn pit smoke and radioactive bottled water was for dessert. I signed up for the burn pit registry years ago but have never filed any claims. I'm sitting at 60% and plan on filing for back issues and anything that's burn-pit or sand-related. It's so hard to find the right VSO to help you though. The last law firm I contacted straight up told me they couldn't represent me, and gave no explanation. Where do I even begin?

Although, interestingly enough, the ship I was on at the time, chased Hurricane Katrina and moored in Louisiana within hours of Katrina having landed. There was enormous amounts of debris and dirt all around. I did have to leave the ship to work in that environment. Our ship became a hotel for those that needed it. We were there for about 2 months.

I have been having headaches for the longest time. I have tinnitus but always felt more. I have also had increase in sinus infections that would last over a couple of months. did not think much of it. fast forward, VA set me up with getting MRI for headaches and from the MRI found this: Inflammation in the nasal passages, Presence of nasal polyps, Potential structural abnormalities contributing to sinusitis
I believe I am the culprit of the 2003 Iraqi burns pits and more of the micro dust that got into everything.
