Thank you so much for watching, it makes all the effort and struggle worth it. I had a lot of trouble with this video when it came to which idea to make into a video.
Funny story: EPILEPSY WARNING!!! I didn't realize it while making the video, oops.
Funny story #1: My pc actually decided to cripple itself again and that's why beyond 6:45 there is a lot less editing. I was too embarrassed to say this in the video because it felt like a repetitive excuse. Although that was the case.
Funny story #2: To that one guy that was excited for the Dragonslayer video. I'll try my best to remake that idea into something instead of completely trashing it.
Funny story #3: Since I can't help but press heart to ALL the nice comments, I'll just be doing it for those that came in during the first two days of the video releasing. Just to keep it neat. I'll still be reading it all afterwards though!
What about a challenge where you can only do attacks that also damage you. Ex. Briars of sin and punishment

It's pretty cool that you didn't use OP weapons like moonveil or sword of night and flame (which both also use follow up attacks)
Oops. I think I forgot to mention the rule that I can't use somber weapons. It's a rule I set for challenges that can be beaten without, regardless very smart of you to notice those are counted.
challenge aside, i never found moonveil that good honestly, like if you have enough int to use moonveil with good damage you might as well just use sorcery, because even without comet azur sorceries are dn good, a single rock sling, comet and/or the delayed magic knives thing does the same damage with more range and a better delay not to mention them being parried have way less consequences
Some trivia: Square-off Heavy does the same stance-damage as Flame of the Redmanes (40 stance dmg), so in early game it's an absolute monster against most bosses since it staggers them so fast with little fp cost (opening up to critical hits).
So in other words, longsword w/ Square-off are really fucking good.

Magma sorceries only would be an interesting challenge since you can get Roiling Magma from a corpse on Mt. Gelmir and the rest from doing the Volcano Manor Questline. In addition, no one has done this challenge yet.
Anyway, great job on doing this challenge!
A bit of history. I did Gravity sorceries and it did well until I fought radagon. I couldn't beat the game because the wind up for the spell to actually come out takes 10 full hours.
I thought the same would happen with the Magma Sorcery after trying them out so I shelved the idea for later.
@@Playirime Okay. However, Radagon is weak to fire like Malenia so it should be at least a bit easier.
@@StanleyG23 Yep that's why I didn't completely cancel it. Just the hope that it would be enough damage to outdo the trade.

Same experience on my first play through. I forgot to mention it in this video because that video where I did this is still up.
@@Playirime it felt so fun/rewarding after trying to fight the wolf with a greatsword, yea I 4 shot him, but it took 15 minutes to land those 4 shots.

this is hilarious, amazing vid, also if you want a hard run, do only lava sorceries, it's horrifying.
There were a lot of things I tried before settling this video idea. Magma sorcery is one of them. I ended up cancelling that one because I found a harder one that I will slowly work on alongside videos that come out faster.

Lil tip for recording but it kinda sounds like you have your mic in your throat, which while I don’t know If it actually is, If it is, a 1-2 foot distance from your mic is recommended.

Something that would help your content is a sharper mic, it sounds like you have it in your mouth while you talk and are blowing it out, max0r has an easier time doing voice over edits because he has a good mic, to help this I'd recommend you either get a better mic or increase your voice over volume by ~15% comparative to the rest of the video, other than that this is some good shit, +funny edits
