I'm not really the type to make celebration videos, so I just wanted to leave a comment here acknowledging the insanity of this channel reaching 1 million subscribers since the last video. As an anxious person who feels pretty undeserving of even a fraction of that, I don't really know what to say. I really appreciate everyone who's watched my videos and subscribed over the years, and I hope I can keep making things that are entertaining or worth your time.
congrats!

I love how being a Pacifist, you can't hurt anyone, but your morality doesn't stop you from raising entire armies to do it for you.
ye I think it would have been more accurate to call it a "do no damage to the mobs" run, not very pacifist to push someone off a cliff lol
@@HappysFunPalace conclusion, you can’t be a pacifist in a fromsoft game.

Fun tip on using demi-humans. Use the site of grace and wait until night THEN summon them. They'll have glowing red eyes, become more aggressive, and are much stronger.

I love how you approach challenge runs as unique puzzles to solve rather than a brick wall to slam your head against. It makes for a much more interesting video than some other challenge runs I've seen.
I am pretty sure he had his fair share of brick wall slamming. You kind of have to etleast until you accumulate the knowledge of what stuff does and how they interact with the world and enemies. He may as well be cutting some of those parts of the video
Fr he seems intrigued by every new challenge
I find it quite funny how he dismissed Alexander for the fire giant fight, despite the fact that he can easily do over 1000 damage in a single attack.
And Great Horned Traggoth for the Dragonic Tree Sentinel.
@@brokenlord3218 Millicent as well and Dung Eater for Morgott
I don't have a ton of ER knowledge, but he said in the video that summoning Alexander means no Torrent for the player. is that true? if so, prioritizing your own mobility as a support or healer makes complete sense to me.
@@sethescope That might be the case but don't forget that since his summon sign is In the arena you can wait and summon him for phase two and he doesn't increase the bosses health unlike other npc summons.
@@brokenlord3218 it's been a long day so I'm sorry if this seems dumb - but I'm not sure how that connects to what I was trying to say. maybe I didn't do a good job articulating what I was trying to say (very possible lol). I interpreted OP's comment as saying "he should have summoned Alexander because Alexander does a lot of damage" so I was trying to say, "He didn't summon Alexander because he wanted to be able to use Torrent, and prioritizing Torrent makes a lot of sense to me when you're playing a support-role character."
are you saying "yes mobility makes sense but the other aspects of summoning Alexander (such as how he doesn't increase the boss' health) are really good so summoning Alexander is a good option even at the cost of losing Torrent's mobility"? I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying
a pacifist that fights with a mimic is the most genius thing ive ever seen, imagine you meet this guy clearly equipped for a really bloody fight, and he says hes a pacifist, youd never believe it
"wait, weren't you a pacifist??? someone help me!"
"yeah, I am. my mimic, however..."
Its a super impressive run but it feels more like an overlord run. Like pfft your too weak for me to bother lifting my own sword. Ill only lift a finger for these spells or incantation and theyll do my bidding. Its the ultimate flex
@@badtrips Incorrect. There's two dead maidens in the game world you can use the blood of. One is back behind the grafted scion, and the other is in the north of Liurina, near the frenzy-flame village
a person intending a fight and let others do the deed is NOT a pacifist... the poster should not use it like that when he intends to kill many foes
...still it's a fun video
That sounds like a anime premise right there.
"Enemy felled" when a boss falls to its death never fails to crack me up
Yeah lmao

ENEMY FELLED DOWNED BAHAHA
Pacifist run? More like Disney run. Beware precarious ledges.
Fun tip on mimic tear. Use two butcher knives as they are great axes that do 1 percent health back per hit each, and put prayerful strike on it, it does percentage based healing and will keep your mimic alive easily.
Thanks ❤

One of my absolute favorite experiences in my gaming career (for lack of a better term) was basically doing this in a run of Fallout New Vegas, but with having a companion that could attack for me in place of spirit summons. I grabbed Cass as early as I could and just hauled her around with me everywhere, since she was a pretty high damage companion with her shotgun. It was crazy, and I had to get pretty creative with how I could handle situations where talking couldn't get you through the situation.
man I have to replay Fallout NV at some point. Its such an amazing game
Nice ! On what difficulty level ? Did you finish it ?
Why Cass ? She's the most annoying companion to get and does the least damage lol. Boone is the way.

Btw, in Raya Lucaria, you also get Azur’s Staff. When you hold the staff in the hand opposite your sacred seal, it functions like the Saint’s Tree Bellvine from DS3 and greatly increases casting speed. When you combine it with the Radagon’s Icon, you achieve the maximum possible casting speed.
NICE. Didnt know this. Thanks
Well, dex plays a role too. But ur right, u preety much covered all items that speed up magic.
@@lukashagen4776 the way that both Azur's staff and Radagon's icon work is they add virtual dex to your casting speed, 40 levels for the staff and 30 for the icon iirc, and the dex bonus to casting speed caps at level 70, making a combination of both actually slightly overkill as you'll still have some actual dex on your build regardless of starting class, pushing you over the hardcap for casting speed.

What a legend. I remember there being a heavy hitting singular summon badass knight that attacks with heavy strikes spinning around in a whirlwind and dealing crazy damage. A fun little tidbit about the mimic tear summon. It uses your equipped consumables too, so you could technically have thrown those throwing pots on your mimc as another loophole to use the things you couldn't

There's a sorcery/incantation called 'Tibia's Summons' where you can spawn skeletons. I assume you could stack this with your spirits and also use them where you cannot normally summon. Would've been handy in some parts!
It's not actually a summon it's a projectile in the shape of angry skeletons. I looked at this for my own purposes. I also tried to see if Torrent can deal damage with dropping on things since he is not I, but alas he cannot.

The Bewitching Branch only does dmg if youre too close and actually hit the enemy with it , but for the branch to work you dont actually need to hit the target , the target only needs to be in the cloud that spawns from the branch. So pretty similar to that Pot you have been avoiding. Also Sleep Pots work the same , maybe everything that casts a cloud works this way.
Shoves you down a cliff while my ghost army ravages that which is before me.
"I'm a pacifist. "
God heals me.
God your music choice is amazing
7:00 - Note: You can shoot near the bird twice, once will stop it's movement as it has been alerted, the second shot will "reveal" you as an enemy to it and it will still yeet itself off the edge. Missing it intentionally twice (but coming close) is arguably harder than hitting it once, however.
It would still be an „attack“ and thus not fit for a true pacifist
…not like summoning a ghost-dog that gives your enemies mega-cancer is very pacifist either but who am I to judge
@@artival22 but he did say he was okay throwing pots near enemies that deal 1 damage
@@Ethan23544 They only deal damage if you hit them though.
@@KyleAPemberton Same argument could be applied to arrows
@@Ethan23544 no he didnt

ranni: "beautifully fought"
i love the idea of you and the mimic both naked and just slapping each other until one passes out
Observing this gameplay is akin to attempting to instruct my mom in computer usage - amusingly implausible
