No way! Kingdom Come was so popular that they made Henry in real life!

“We can build him, we have the technology.”
they even built places like rattay too!
Hahaha
Now this is going to be something special
You are right good sir in my heart it will be game of the year
So when is "kingdome come deliverance is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits" gonna drop?
Please don't break this one too much ^^ (i am ready to bribe you with tea)
Especially exploitable I hope.
Something perfectly balanced
This is my Elder Scrolls 6
Definitely gonna be more engaging, immersive, fun, and full of life than ES6 if BGS’ recent track record is anything to go by
Wasn't expecting the director to just casually drop that the game was releasing by the end of the year. Thanks Warhorse

Hopefully no delays!
Wait hold up this year?
Pardon me I’m raising a flagpole.
That was really epic indeed!

Bohemia - Czech lol. 😂 Awesome!
Dad made for Dad lmao that gave me a good chuckle.

Also doggos, you can pet a dog.
From Googling, pistala seems to be the Czech word for a whistle? Is it also used to refer to the hand cannon?

@@djinnxx7050 No, first map is Kuttenberg, and the second map is Bohemia Paradise around "Trosky" Castle, both in Czechia.
The first game didn't get enough recognition, but this one will get what it deserves. We have a Game of the Year contender here.
Jesus! This year will go down in history as one of the best years of gaming. Quality gaming that isn't just being paddled by marketing and hype. Palworld, Helldivers 2 and now this. And many more I hope.
I really hope Warhorse announced this after ironing out performance issues unlike the first game.
@@khonjel_singhExactly! I haven't seen a nice year for gaming in ages, and this is a pretty good one. So many great non AAA titles coming out, whilst the big companies are eating dust.

I get it you are hyped for KCD2, don't worry so am I.
This is EXACTLY what every publishers should do. Wait for the game to be 100% ready for launch, and THEN announce it. Props to you guys !

To be honest they didn't even needed to improve the graphics because the old didnt even run in modern systems, i am glad they are working on gameplay and not the graphical aspect like other companies are doing......Lets hope this time we wont need a supercomputer to play this and there will be larger battles which was lacking in the previous game.....
We don't need bigger world size
@@bmqww223 Yes, instead of graphics, they've concentrated on more important things this time, like being able to pet dogs and hear NPCs make comments when you go streaking naked through town. 👍

Baldurs Gate 3 was a breath of fresh air, but not quite immersive the way KCD is.
I love how they didn’t get anyone’s hopes up and release a 20 second teaser. they prepared and released a 14 minute full game reveal.
classic Warhorse banger
Except they did do that...
This was the best reveal I've ever seen
The thing here is, is that you actually get the impression that this game was made by real people who want to make games about characters they love, instead whatever flavour-of-the-month live service game-type looks the most profitable.

I'm in the same boat man, got it less than a week ago during the steam sale and I got 35 hours clocked in 😭 this game is doing things to me
I'm a victim as well, I played a lot of games that were considered top tier (eg. witcher, rdr2, etc.), yet this one takes the number 1 spot for me.

This has to be one of the best announcement video of a game ever made
It's beautifully shot. The presentation is incredibly stunning.
Yes, and this game has potential to be GOTY. The first one was really good, but just way too hard and realistic. Hopefully they get rid of that in this game
@@Soradakanizat Absolutely not, that's part of the appeal
@@behemothfan1990 it’s really not, and a lot of people quit the game (me included) because of it. Unnecessary hard lockpicking minigames and missing quests when you’re in jail are really not part of any appeal tbh
@@Soradakanizat I agree with you that the lockpicking was bollocks, and to be fair there are only a few timed quests in the game but it should have been made more clear when you were on a timer.

Everyone is thinking gaming is dying but I'm over here admiring one of the most passionate game developers of gaming, period.
"Gaming" isn't dying, souless corporations that don't care about their customers are dying
We must not look to the game developers of the big companys anymore , we must look for those small game develop companys

Let me take you on a journey: Imagine that you're a bunch of guys wanting to create a medieval RPG, that's the most historical accurate RPG to be ever created. You have an idea, you have a VISION, but you don't have either the manpower nor the funds to make it happen. What do you do? You take all your willpower, your effort and your passion to the next level and create a PREQUEL game, which isn't polished, isn't free from bugs and isn't optimised to all receiving platforms, and you publish it ANYWAY, because you want the world to see it.
And then... IT HITS LIKE A BOMB ANYWAY, because people believe in you.
And then, after reaching the levels of manpower and funds you really need, you disappear for years, crafting the very gem you wanted to craft from the very start and in the middle of nowhere, you drop another bomb, but this time, you actually ment it. Warhorse, you are so great, I love you with every part of my soul. You did it, be proud of yourselves!

You'll love the Trosky region. It is beautiful and the sandstone rocks fprm little caves and ravenes in the most unexpected places. It is also quite easy to orient yourself just by looking at Trosky (each of the towers is a different shape and height so the silhouette looks different from every angle)

If it was around when this game was there’s a good chance it will be.
@@thunderstruck6647 it was there for like 3 centuries before the storyline.
@@matyassiegel1732 That would be so cool to experience
This feels like the good old days wating for the next Zelda game.. And for me, thats huge!
Also, two surprises :
didn't expect the main actor to be british (I remember a comment sayin he looks like every guy in Czechia) ,
didn't expect that that would be his acctual voice.
You can't wait here without a torch!

Also don't skip time without one
“ Only footpads creep around without a light”
Watch your step! Im in the services of the lord of Rattay!
It was very selfless of Henry to not mention how hungry he was feeling during the recording
Very over used joke at this point
@@skankhunt4220 If you say so boss, I'll keep laughing at it anyway if that's okay.
@@Joe-lu4tw wasn’t hating mate you go ahead lad
He's starting to watch his metabolism in preparation for his upcoming rematch with Kunesh titled 'Debt Collection: Increased Interest Match'.
The fact that this project is so true to history, has beautiful music and everything - it's a true work of art. It's like something I could display, being proud of owning it!
I like how they make Henry looks more battle worn/gritty since he became a noble rather than the gullible son of a blacksmith in the first game
Kingdom Come Deliverance wasn't just a game for me - it was an experience. I loved it so much that I vacationed in the Czech Republic right after playing it and I felt like a child coming to Disney World for the first time. I am screaming with hype for this sequel!!!
Ooooh that is cool.... My wife wants to take me to Eastern Europe (I've never been, she has) and it would be pretty sweet to play this first.
It was the same for me!! I am beyond hyped! This is gonna be AWESOME!!!
@@JacopoSkydweller You won't find the Czech Republic in Eastern Europe
Why the Disney comparison? Czechia is so much more profound and rich. Glad you enjoyed your trip though.
@@FilipMoncriefRight! It's sitting right there sharing a border with Germany. I feel like people got confused by Germany being split.
I'm not going to lie this announcement and how it was done from the start to the trailer to The Little deep dive afterwards is probably the best I have ever seen an announcement of a game. Got me so hype
No joke ❤
That's so true bro
Yes they did a fantastic job!!
SO true. Emotional wildride in a postivie sence!
The orchestra scene is bombastic
Absolutely mouthwatering! From graphics to music and, of course, the beloved characters.
Daniel Vávra, deepest respect - been a huge fan since Mafia I.
I am so excited!!!! This is the only gave I have ever played where I really felt like I was taken back in time. I loved the attention to detail with the locations, armor, fighting moves, etc. Absolutely fantastic job on the first one and I cannot wait for part 2!!!
I lost my uncle a while ago. We both loved kcd1, He would have loved this. I'll pick some flowers like he used too. Rest In Peace Tor.
I don't believe you. I think your uncle is still alive.

Rest in peace Tor, I hope your memory can be savoured well when your nephew plays KCD2!
I've never been more ready for something in all my days
Great to see you here. Love your AC videos 🙂
Never knew you liked KCD, have you made a video about it?
Right after liberating Europe from "immigrants". In real life.
AC used to be historically accurate but obviously they don't care about that anymore. At least with KCD we know it'll be 100% faithful to history (even if they take a few liberties).
@@therandom.cowboy5526 Not yet, but I plan to before this new game is out, hopefully.
It's time to finish the first part of Kingdom Come Deliverance.
I still play the original game and try to learn new things i may have missed. even so much as to research the places, people and historical events of the time period its world is intriguing. I wondered the past couple years if a sequel was in the works and am happy to see how far along and impressive the world looks. The music was terrific in the first one as well glad to see the original composer back as well. All around I hope the team got to finally make the game they wanted.
Manor Lords is coming out this month and KCD2 this year. History buffs are eating good this year. Oh and one more thing, TAKE YOUR TIME!
What's even better is how much the AAA industry is eating ass. Trillion dollar market caps can't touch the studios who actually care about their craft.
We're heading for an industry crash unlike seen since the 80's and I'm all in for it when I have these sorts of games to play.
The world is healing.
@@andypae Hope this proves that throwing money at stuff doesn't automatically make it better. I love the passion projects smaller devs release.
@@andypae Amen, brother.
They don’t need to, they’ve made the game and giving themselves the rest of the year to finish it up 😂
@@andypae Lol what are you talking about, BG3 is receiving rave reviews and massive sales and Larian is bigger than Bethesda is and dropped enough money on BG3 to make it like top 10 most expensive games, It's a AAA studio and a AAA game by literally any definition. Not to mention Elden Ring Other AAA studios are eating big on microtransactions and cash shop purchases. Warhorse itself is scarely a cute little indie studio either. It's naive af to think that just because a studio is small they "care" and because they're big they can't, that's how you get taken for a ride. There will be no crash, nothing has changed. Games fail, games succeed, just don't fool yourself into thinking your defending a little mom and pop shop lmao
There is no language on the earth that can express the kind of happiness this reveal brought to me.
Same, made me tear up at the end
There is actually
Bohemian 😎
I'm sitting here trying to think of a comment and this is all I can think. I'm so pleasantly surprised, especially because the wait is not long.
Same man. I loved KCD. A bunch of my normie cod loving friends HATED this game, but it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time
This has to be the greatest game reveal ever
The presentation is stunning, 10/10
Devs passion and dedication is golden standard, 10/10
Immersion into history and culture is unbelievable, 10/10
Release announcement 100/10
This wasn't just a trailer, this was an event. Haven't been excited for a game in a long time, this has definitely changed that. Loved KCD, so I can't wait.
Such a lovely crafted video. So much passion.
I couldn't agree more.
Well with "limited ressources" for the first game, as the creative director says in the video, they managed to create my favourite open world RPG of all time. A game which is a good middle ground between complex and fun mechanics, full of good gameplay ideas a big studio wouldn't have the balls to try out of fear of not touching a wide enough public, a game which actually trusts the player to be clever enough to solve things out on his own, I haven't had this feeling of unexpected and actually going on an adventure in another open world RPG since 2018.
Really happy for these guys, especially since they can show the world their country's history, which is not widely known. As a french guy, I'm happy to learn more about Bohemia and I trust this game will be excellent.
Well said I agree ❤
Yeah honestly it’s good too hear some developers can be realistic with their limitations AND be right that the proof of concept worked. Really looking forward to seeing what they’ve done!
@@GoldGune Exactly, while the technical side had some (understandable) issues considering the small team working on it, the game design/artistic direction/writing were mostly spot on for me, and those don't require huge teams, just good ideas.
calm down
It’s my favorite rpg as well. The attention to detail and realism are unparalleled. Skyrim has more replayability but KCD makes you appreciate every step of the journey much more
I spent most of my time just walking in the woods in KCD1 and had a blast! Such attention to detail. I felt the same wonder of exploring a real forest. I really hope, and suspect they have the same thing going in the second! :D
The greatest video game ever made! Can not thank you enough.
This is what game developing should be about. Creating a simulation of reality. To teach to inspire to honour and immerse feelings.
What more beautiful than our past.
I love the part where Henry said: "I feel quite hungreh" as someone who didn't have lunch yet, he really speaks to me
unironically the most relatable thing even back then 😂
I'm so glad they made the creative decision to not make medieval Europe gloomy, depressing, and barren like a lot of Hollywood shows and movies like to do. Warhorse chooses instead to show us how beautiful their homes looked to medieval Europeans themselves, and I'm here for it.
Between all the flops this last year, and just this week hearing about the massive layoffs at Take Two while they gave their CEO and president both huge bonuses last year. It's nice to see games like KCD 2 and Manor Lords coming out to show us gaming hasn't gone off the rails entirely.
I cannot wait for this game. I've been excited for six years to continue Henry's story and I cannot wait to see what KCD 2 brings us.
I mean there weren't always wars etc. I think this is kind of realistic. I hope the game isn't rushed
Hundreds of Castles in Europe, lots of art and not to forget the Eastern Roman Empire was very rich during the Middle Ages.
The last year or two have actually had really good releases. Maybe my tastes have changed enough that I've avoided the flops.
@@alexanderh2715 I think they will rush it especially in sieges because normal sieges takes even months so siege of kuttenberg or some keeps will be rushed for game purposes
You really think the world looked like you describe it??? Jesus! First fifty years of 15th Century in Bohemia was dark and brutal. Suprisingly even Hollywood is accurate in describing/showing it in their films. I'm a bit worried how the storyline in KCD II will look like. So far not much revealed...
I kept hope all these years that there will be a KCD 2 and here we are! So happy right now!!
Dude, what was that game reveal. It's prolly the best game reveal I've witnessed
I was thinking the same thing! I'm so hyped for this!!
