    have this same bike. Theres a 17 page thread on mine on advrider in the scooter section. Google search "my big chinese ruckus clone thread" 50mph is all you'll gte out of this thing and not have it wrung out. It's a big scooter. Big as some motorcycles. Have over 10k miles on mine so far. Only major issue was a blown plug that caused the head to be replaced under warranty. Since then it's been pretty much trouble free. Mine is ridden year round.

    Hi James Ibardolaza!
    You are correct that there is not a whole lot of storage space on the SSR Rowdy 150cc scooter.
    Many of our customers bungie cord items to the front frame and on the rear they get creative with a slew of items such as saddlebags, milk crates, etc.
    We even had one customer that bolted a briefcase to the back of his!

    I'd find a sticker with Rowdy Roddy on it and stick it on the bike. "I came to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum".

    I was in with my wife and kid this weekend to look at the black one. I sat on it and instantly fell in love with it. Hopefully I can get back next month to purchase it.(cash) I will especially love the ride back to Los Angeles on the surface streets! My Daily commute is only 9 miles so this bike will save me loads of cash.

    Im was considering of buying one but I really need the storage space though which this really nice scooter lacks...I go to work 5/7 about 15miles to and from...I really like this scooter but I may have to pass it for utility and space sadly. I really like the rugged look and all metal and color finish and specially having front and rear disc brakes.

    I would like a scooter with some spring on it . Some of the roads here get petty rough a lot of pot holes. what do you recommend ? A 150 - 200cc would be great.

    I think the emergency brake is actually a parking brake. That is what another youtuber said.

      Hi, +Su Le !
      Emergency brake and parking brake are usually synonymous in regard to 2 and four wheel vehicles.

    Why should you not use the kill switch when stopping the engine?

    • @HighStyleMotoring1
      @HighStyleMotoring1  Před 9 lety +2

      What we don't want people to start getting used to is just using the kill switch and forgetting to remove the key. Then you still have power working and your battery dies. This way if you just use the key, you don't come across that. Also novice riders use the kill switch and next time they go to turn it on, they forget the kill switch is on and the bike will not start.

      +sakuraknight9274 - I was wondering about that kill switch also. I always turn mine bike off with it. So I guess it won't hurt it either way . I got it.

    do you need insurance for this scooter

    • @HighStyleMotoring1
      @HighStyleMotoring1  Před 9 lety +1

      That really depends on what state you are in. Here in CA where we are, this requires a motorcycle license and insurance. Check with your local DMV for any vehicle requirements.
