  • Just a side by side comparison of a Honda Ruckus and a Chinese 150cc Chinese ruckus knockoff clone. 150cc with a gy06 motor. Wish we had a Yamaha zuma to compare too.

      They are . I've had motorcycles , well dirt bikes. The ruckus is just as fun or more fun . Like for instance I had to go easy on the throttle of my yz450 , less easy on my rmz250 and full throttle all the damm time on the ruckus which is so much fun

    As a former owner of a Chinese 150 cc scoot, it was reliable until the headlight bulb burned out the 2nd week of ownership. Dealer could not get bulb but found a german bulb that fit...it was good for the 3 years I owned it. At a year into it, it started eating belts, at $45 each, and had to wait for it to be shipped from China. After the 2nd belt went, I installed the third and sold it. The biggest problem with Chinese scoots is you need to be a mechanic so you can keep them up and running. When I bought mine, there was a repair shop in my town and one 80 miles away. When I sold it there was no shop in my state that serviced them!

      Cristian Guzman Just have to look around a lot on the Internet there may be a company that offers it and then again you may have to find someone that can fabricate it for you custom,,, I’m going to buy a standard seat rack frame actually two of them and have it chopped and extended and re-welded so I can have a longer thicker and more comfortable seat I can’t stand my seat on a long trip,,, ironic we’re talking about the ruckus I just changed my battery today I got it through Walmart.com and I have to admit they are a pain to change easy to get to but very tedious to bolt them up I’m getting ready to go outside after I rest a little bit and do my first oil change I bought it brand new it’s a 2017 and I’ve only got 199 miles on it I probably should’ve did the oil change at 100 miles however I think it will be fine,,, i’m just going to run full synthetic 10W-30 motor oil in it and I’m going to take the oil screen off and clean it as well,,, I had to check the tires too the front tires at 14 psi the back tire might be at 10 that’s not good at all,,,I’m going to put 20 pounds like Honda says to however other folks say put 30 psi in them,,,I may put 25psi to play it safe,,,they are lotta fun very enjoyable however I just don’t seem to have the time to play with it like I thought I would I’m either at work or asleep,,, lol,,,that being said I try to enjoy it as much as I can,,, I figured when I bought it if gas ever goes to high and no one can afford to buy it I can still get around on that ruckus because they’re so cheap on gas and they are a lot of fun everyone wants to know what it is where I got it ask me all kinds of stuff about it they wanna know all about it lotta fun

    Harbor Freight aroma? As I remember it: Pressed cardboard with a bit of gear oil shaded with a metallic tang along with overtones of print ink and heated plastic and an after smell? of that electrical smell of ozone..... Something like that. Though some may be more attuned to the ink, cardboard and plastic that smells like it is not done turning into more of a solid. Or the heated plastic and ozone smell like a burned out vacuum cleaner motor with a squirt of 3 in One oil in an old dusty cardboard box. Yeah... something like that.... Weird.. like describing the floral, fruity and bitterness of wine. But it depends on where you are standing at the HF store. Over by the wheels for carts & wheel barrows and such, the smell of rubber is definitely there but it is like there is something off and not quite right about it that I can't quite put my finger on. OK maybe that was not so helpful.

      Harbor Freight smells like rubber. I think if is due to the smell of new rubber, . I brought a new trailer from Lowes a few months ago and even though I keep it outside , I can still smell the new rubber smell from the tires on it when I get close to the trailer.
      The video guy was trying to disrespect Harbor Freight for its made in China stuff, Next time you by a 49.00 dollar pair of 5 inch pliers from Home Depot, look at the label and see where it was made at. Yes China.
      Harbor freight sells the same thing for 3.99.

      HEHALOL I know this is an old behind message, but obviously the 150 Outperform 110 cc Scooter I know they say if you put an 80 kit 150 it will out run the 150 Lol because obviously different because that’s a 50 it’s much lighter than both of the bikes because they’re bigger like 110 Might use the same fork as the 50 but it’s a much more bigger bike same as the other one so since it’s lighter in their Beaufort strokes and they both have heavy engines most likely Whale out beat the 110 because I believe the 150 goes about 60 or 70 especially if it’s a light Ryder The other one unfortunately most likely will go 45 or 43 in speed and most likely slower than that if you’re a heavy person the 50 will go 35 to 25 but like I said if you put a lot of performance in the engine like I’m doing to my bike it should reach about 90 or 100 mph people say it’s impossible and people with four strokes like to exaggerate but it’s not an exaggeration if you put really expensive quality parts in your bike light in the fly wheel by the final gear drive for your bike do everything you have to do to upgrade the engine it will reach those speed especially if you are a light rider to begin with it’s all about making a bike as light as possible and making the engine as powerful as possible it will reach those beadsl if you put really expensive quality parts in your bike light in the fly wheel by the final gear drive for your bike do everything you have to do to upgrade the engine it will reach those speed especially if you are a light rider to begin with it’s all about making a bike as light as possible and making the engine as powerful as possible it will reach those These Chinese scooters all they do is put the big bore kit in the bike and that’s it they don’t do the final gear drive they don’t change the crankshaft they don’t do all of that to increase the speed of their bike to reach ridiculous speed unfortunately do you think it’s Chinese made by so you don’t want to do that which I understand completely understandable ,;(

      It isn't worth it, if you want a ruckus but can't afford a new one get a used one. It is made by Honda so unless the previous user beat it with a baseball bat it will probably be okay (obviously don't just buy anything that was exaggerated) You can buy a used Ruckus for just over a thousand dollars, the clone will probably be about the same if not cheaper.

    I doubt there's such a thing as Chinese Ruckus. Those type of Chinese scooters have been around since 2004. It's Honda that copied it except they use high quality parts.

    The Chinese ruckus is a ruckus that can't get registered or tagged. You can swap a gy6 engine in a ruckus and that thing will be crazy fast.

    • @TrollsExposed351
      @TrollsExposed351 Před rokem +1

      Yeah but you might can buy a Honda ruckus on craigslist or Facebook market for about 500 bucks the original Honda or 1000 but it’s gonna take a lot of work to conversion to change it to the Chinese in June I’d rather just buy a Chinese bike by all the original Rockies parts for it because practically they’re the same exact bike like it’s way more cheaper to do that in my humble opinion because like you said you can buy a real ruckus for like fucking the fraction of the price I’d rather just buy a cheap Honda knock off for 300 or 200 bucks Then buy the original and spend about 1000 bucks on both of them in Irvine mechanically inclined and if I’m mechanically inclined just manipulate all the parts on the knock off paint the bike the same color as the original in there you go

    The smell is the oil they put on the parts before shipping so the salt water doesn't tear it up.... Honda has the money to take care of that smell before selling product.... I work at hft, I know what you're talking about.
