Jahmair Stewart Neymar today got plenty of chances to both create and score. He created some but at many occasions he could've passed it to mbappe or cavani to score. He had some scoring opportunities too. Coming back to messi, in Argentina's finals Messi was clearly the best out of argentina squad. Didn't he drag his squad to the finals. And you have already seen how bad Argentina is without Messi in the WC qualifiers. After all football is a team game.

Neymar is incredibly skilled but he would rather fall to get a foul instead of regain his balance and make a run for goal. I get that he's a target for defenders, but he has to man up and stop hitting the grass if he wants to score goals. He will get much more respect for scoring goals than for dribbling. Real never should've won this. The ref was incredibly biased towards real madrid. Kroos should've been sent of in the first half as he dived twice. According to the rules, dives should be penalized with a yellow. His first dive was blatant, there was no contact but he got the foul. The second dive, which led to the penalty, as soon as he feels an arm, you can see him holding his left leg back to not make the next step. Nothing was preventing him from continuing his run as the defender immediately pulled his arm back. Second yellow for diving and no pen. Neymar also should've gotten a second yellow for his dive. PSG also were disallowed a penalty for a blatant handball by Ramos. On the other end , the ref was calling dives against psg correctly all night but not against real. The second also shouldn't have counted because before that Kimbempe was clearly fouled but nothing was called and led to the goal. The ref was inconsistent and biased with his calls. He destroyed this game.
Neymar was also head and shoulders above Ronaldo who played very poorly. He missed a sitter and great chance with his left and did NOTHING else during the game. He literally didn't initiate a single attack and didn't dribble past anyone. He was gifted a penalty and he didn't even score his second on purpose. He was lucky he was there, again as he is so many times, and that the keeper parried the ball against his knee. Literally anyone could've scored that. The best player for Real was Marcelo. Without him, their attack would be even worse than it is now.
