I have a Brompton Borough roll top front bag that has bottle holders, which work well. However, I like the idea of using the frame bag when I'm travelling lighter. I'll definitely check one out. Thanks...from London.

The nice thing about the frame bag is that, when folding the Brompton the water bottle does not fall out. It fits perfectly inside the frame bag.

This bag is simple and very useful, and if you use a water bottle that only let the water out when you squeeze it, you can fold the Brompton with the bottle in it.
My great grandmother Maria Sophia Johanna Krönhberger (27.01.1845/Bayreuth, Bayern) was from Baviera.

🤔 it’s like everyone that got a Brompton get the same upgrades at some point. Easy wheels, Monkii cage, Quadlock etc … even if they change them later on. 😂

You may have a special pump which fit most back frames, except the one on my Lightweight! I doubt very much that the bike would have been any heavier from a piece of wire? Finn, Dane.

@@ChrisbyBike I don't think that Brompton are able to produce the titanium parts themselves, so they may buy them from the outside, and that may be why they have sawed the small piece of wire away? I have found a small, portable electrical pump from China, with a meter showing the pressure and being able to pump 110 Psi, and so more than needed at most. When I changed my (too) small easy-wheel on my mudguard to a double, golden wheel, I first tried to deflate my wheel, but found out it wasn't enough, so I removed the wheel from the frame. And then I of course had to pump it up again - and my new luxury pump functioned fine, doesn't fill must, and may be brought in an official type T bag (Bought from China), with pouches on the back along the stempost, and a rain cover, if needed. I also have a small bag with a cover for a folded brompton, if outside in a private yard. I hope to be able to bring it to Malta, in the Danish built and owned summerhouses there, in their closed yard.

These electric pumps are great to use. I have one, but mine makes a lots of noise, so I end up using a floor pump.
For me, the T-bag is the best, it fits everything and very easy to use.
I did not understand the part of Malta 🤔
@@ChrisbyBike My T bag is excellent, and I think with two small pockets also for a bottle? But I have just found and bought from England, a "Lezyne21" pump, which has two brackets for use on a thin frame-tube, also on ordinary bikes, which I may use on my bike without a holder for the pump. So I'm now waiting for it to arrive with an EU VAT tax on top and becoming twice as expensive that way.
And Malta is a small Island/State in the Mediterranian Sea, which is part of the EU, and on which my wife and I have had a lot of vacations, latest for 14 days in January (2022). But they ride in the wrong side on small and narrow roads (After the English time), so my wife won't allow me to bring my Brompton down there! ;-( I would be able to reach much on the Island on a bike.
