Trouble with the pedal-up-and-push is that I naturally push with my bike on my left! Good hint about having the saddle pointed slightly to the side. Oddly I would push it like you do with it on my right in that situation. I watched your other video about the easy wheels, and that one was partly instrumental in me ordering some - can't wait to get them!
I thought I knew all the ways to push/pull/carry my Brompton and that I'd watch this thru anyway just because I love Chris and her videos ❤️... but I DID learn a new one -- the shoulder carry! I'm constantly up & down escalators on the subway here so that should prove very helpful. Thx again as always Chris^^

The Seadle tip I use for all my bikes, the good thing about it is that the weight of the bike is in your shoulders and not in your arms.

What kind of saddle do you use on your Brompton?
Looks like a Brooks B17 but not made out of leather. Maybe that Cambium version out of natural rubber?

I use the C17 carve. It is fabulous, My favorite one. If it was lighter I would use it on my racing bike.

Chris, i feel my gear shift is acting up. When i shift to gear 2, it feels like i am riding on gear 1. But sometimes it feels ok. What i do is to shift to hear 1, then 2 and then 3rd. Back to my usual 2. And it feels right.
Can you do a video to show how we can adjust or fine tune the gear shift so shiftng gear is smoother and more correct. Thanks in advance. From Denise

Is the Q-Rack suitable for carrying things or only serve to hold the wheels ? If so what kind of luggage can go there ?

I've never use the rack to carry anything. When I travel, Brompton touring , I use a T-Bag + a seadle bag. I like to have the possibility of folding the Brompton when fully loaded.

The design looks like it would be able to handle carrying weight with no problem. The Amazon link in the video description says that it’s for carrying heavy loads, but I don’t see a weight limit.

It is able to carry objects, but because its triangular shape it is not possible to attach a rack bag.
I like it because it is lighter and helps a lot on pushing/pulling the Brompton.

@@ChrisbyBike "Wheelguards" is the name for it, sorry! And I have just changed my (too) small, original single wheel with a double golden wheel, and I found out that the metal parts holding the titanium struts, and the wheel, actually weighed a lot, so I ordered a set of carbon parts for the purpose, from China, with the nuts inside! It is a Hell to replace the bolts and nuts, and most time you will need to remove the wheels, to do it.

Some times Aluminium is lighter them Titanium, and it is a lot stronger them carbon. For this reason I've chosen the Aluminium rack instead the Titaniun.

From your description I can't understand what's happening. But check the H Hook, see if is bend and making the wheel closer than it should be.

Ok. Got it
The reason it makes noise is because your front wheel is touching the ground.
Replace the original easy whells for bigger ones. This way your front wheel won't touch the ground and it will not move.
My main reason for using a triangle rack is to make it easy to push or pull my Brompton.
With the rack the Brompton is on top of 4 EasyWheels and very easy to transpor it.

@@ChrisbyBike You avoid scratching things around - putting it in a car, that way! The padded pouch, I think I bought it from Thailand, was very/extremely expensive but it may last my time, as now 73 😉? It is made specially for Brompton and other folding pedals, as it is possible to put round the pedal-arm also, but Bromton folds very efficient that way. I don't know with ordinary folding systems?

Chris,Now I see why you want to replace your seat post. Yours looks abit nasty. Sometimes the rusty bits can be removed. Whatever you do, NEVER try to lubricate it with ANY product. If you do, you will never get the tube from sliding down when you ride. Please send me the info on the easy wheels and rack that you installed.
