    Remember don't donate to any global humanitarian companies such as red cross, amnesty international and whatnot.
    They take a huge share of donations for their own needs and there are even times that no money makes it to the cause.
    The actual first place to go is u24.gov.ua/ this is United24
    It is a platform presented by president Zelensky.
    Secondly you might choose some volunteers that are helping Ukraine in various areas.

AEGIS and Patriot systems in Poland, Romania and Czech Republic since mid-2000s. Thousands of US troops on Poland and Romania since 2007-2008. US warships docked on US bases on Romania and Bulgaria. And more stuff. All these aren't provocations? How would the US react If the opposite had happened to them?

    Georgie makes a good point about more weapons manufactured for the same money when Ukraine produces them. There's incentive to find efficiencies and do it cheaper, versus retail priced weapons made elsewhere. And it stimulates UKR economy. Win-win.

      the US has experience in designing systems and exporting their manufacture --- while Ukrainians have more engineering talent available than can be trained up new in the US --- agreed that the Ukrainian arms industry can evolve rapidly.
      one russian bot mocks that plants and capabilities can't be built in a couple of months and by that time "it will be over" ..... i disagree. Kits and pre-assembled components can be sent in using logistics/scheduling --- the plants can be spun up. And Ukraine will produce munitions and will win.

    I have this idea for the rebuilding. I know about tree planting and there will be a need for a huge reforestation program after this is over ( after them mines and unexploded munitions are cleared). Here in Canada we have this process down to a fine art, and especially so here in British Columbia. I think I could actually do something productive and helpful when this war is over....hell, I could go now; the Ukrainian kids planting trees this spring aren't afraid...

    I contacted my Congressman who voted no on the vote for aid to Ukraine. He claimed he voted no because there was no provision for tracking how the money is spent. I told him that it is widely known that 80% of the money will be spent in the US upgrading weapons to replace older ones sent to Ukraine--a win win, and thus his rationale was irrational ass covering. I told him he and his colleagues who voted no have blood on their hands and although I voted for him twice before, that that won't happen again because of this vote.

      This is the way! All who voted no have fallen for either Russian, HAMAS or Chinese black-propaganda (3 arms of the same beast). That's ignorance coupled with weak minds and social/online echochambers, even Bernie fell for it. Also, Ukraine's aid/military spending is reportedly the most transparent in history, to the point it's giving opsec away to Russia.

    • @CellGames2006
      @CellGames2006 Před 19 dny

      Right, so that's a fair concern. Just like you didn't track where the spending to Afghanistan went and $2 trillion of it went to the Taliban in bribe money during 20 years... But that's more like a U.S. military general method of operation thing, not a Ukraine specific thing.

If we still have a MAGA influence in the Senate or House I’m afraid they will once again be a thorn in the side of future Ukraine aid. It seems they are telegraphing that our geopolitical focus will be on China and Iran if they still have influence after the elections.
    I’m so glad that Europe is stepping it up because Europe may be the leading force of Ukraine aid in the future.

    Look. I was one of those reaching out to congress. What I understand is for several weeks 1 billion $ in needed stuff will be sent right away. Yes, more and more will need to flow. But we forget, as these packages go in, we are sending specialists to work with the military to aim and fire. Our military secrets /satellites are constantly working. And in case you missed it, Joe said this package will help Ukraine 'win'. We are struggling here and as a liberal Democrat I'm passed off that Russian disinformation and the lack of history /stupidity has caused so much shit. There are more of us than them, now we must get out the vote. So tired of attitudes re America is blah blah blah. We are literally in crisis mode. We can't afford to be tired, but Christ, we are. Do whatever YOU can do to help the silent MAJORITY in my country. Everything, including our no longer supreme court are failing us. Christian nationalism is dangerous bull shit. And as you MUSTsee, every autocratic country is pushing our buttons. What would you do, or have us do? Glad to see europe finally understand a few things. Unity is the only way

      I see it from Europe for more than just these two years. This infowar started on large scale roughly with invasion of Georgia in 2008.
      You missed being under attack, but majority of Americans have kept enough sanity to tell right from wrong and friends from foes. Now you've done the right thing, only because there were educated people standing against the lies. What you can and should do as a divided society and nation first now is: educate. Trash the ignorance leading to feeble-minded poisoned with these black-propaganda campaigns coming from all Autocratic powers. Autocratic leaders turned enough of their own citizens into zombies to do whatever they want both home and abroad, so now all their attacks are aimed at those susceptible to them. This means all who doesn't learn how their contagious propaganda works and doesn't learn what and why is happening (wether in Russia, Ukraine, internationally or locally) are at risk of becoming same kind of zombies as Z-patriots, weaponised against their own countries. This is the strongest weapon of Russia and entire Autocratic-axis, so take this threat seriously. Educate and crush the ignorance. Than not only the international, but US domestic crisis will be much easier to see for what it is and solved in the right ways.

    I mostly agree. And I am proud to be Danish and I think we did the right thing. The only thing worse than paying a lot for a self defense course is paying a lot to the dentist for not going to the self defense course. But you do know that today used to be a national holiday in Denmark, and to fund military and military aid the holiday (greater praying day or common or collected praying day or whatever would be the term in English) was canceled. And not just for this year but indefinitely. When RuZZia have been defeated and perhaps the middle east as well? and we again will start with peace dividend I suppose the day would be forgotten - or the politicians would have a lot of other holes to fill up anyway.

    • @RichardTaylor1630

      The trolls's script says that since Ukraine supposedly burned through $100 billion in US aid without accomplishing anything, Ukraine won't achieve anything with the new "61 billion" is the supplemental aid bill. But the truth is that without prior US aid (which was a total of $71 billion, not any "$100 billion"), Ukraine would have been overrun by ruzzia already. But with the aid from the US and other Allies, Ukraine has pushed ruzzia out of thousands of square miles of territory that ruzzia seized by surprise at the start of the full scale invasion.

      @agent19kentuckypotbaron15 Před 19 dny

      I am sorry but this aid is not enough. Russia is building a massive military as we speak. The only way to counter this threat is to match it which means Europe building a massive military. The political will is not there to do this. Russia will carry on taking ukraine. Once ukraine falls they will move on europe. We need conscription and re arming now before we sleepwalk into losing more than Ukraine

    Yes, I agree that at least some Western weapons are overly reliant on advanced tech rather than more simple weapons in large quantities. Britain's future tank force plans are a great example of this when more a simple tank design in larger quantities would be more effective than a few super advanced tanks that aren't easy to replace or mass produce. Over reliance on advanced technologies as good as they are is a mistake and a weakness, in my opinion

    Some of your best talking points year to date. As a manufacturing sector foreman, its true about European ability to decimate Russia pound for pound in production. Not only that. I prefer German and other Northern European machines parts over any other import region. Reliable presses. Fretz Werner comes to mind. But point is, Europe is just like the US. They can manufacture and hold the key part, Quality! Russia produces shite

    Spot on that the upside of the hiatus in US support is that the EU saw that they had to increase their support. I’m American and have pointed out repeatedly that I’ve watched the US fail to push through to a clear victory since Korea. You can see even with the current administration they can’t stop themselves from trying to rein in Ukraine by limiting US weapons from use on Russian territory or even using Ukrainian weapons effectively against Russian refineries. And YES the industrial might of the West, even if bogged down, already has the Russians working 3 shifts and using 14 year old workers. I know what that feels like - I grew up on a farm in the. 50s and was doing a man’s work at 14.
