  • www.autobytel.com/hyundai/sant... Crossovers are one of the quickest growing segments and Hyundai offers a couple of vehicles including the Santa Fe. In 2013 the Hyundai Santa Fe was redesigned and spit into 2 models; the 7 passenger Santa Fe and the 5 passenger Santa Fe Sport as seen here. The 2016 model has a base price of $24,950.
    The base is saddled with a 2.4 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic which helps the Santa Fe Sport net 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.

    Haven't you noticed the back seat? What about the roominess? Thank you for choosing the base model unlike all other car reviewers.

    The reviews this guys does feel genuine and more consumer oriented, I like cloth seats and prefer them over leather :)

      +Dan Ricciardo : I always thought people who couldn't afford leather, say that....lol. "I much prefer manual roll-up windows instead of power windows also".

      +J High leather looks like crap real soon. Can't take on the heat. Unless you're going to constantly keep changing cars sure why not.

    • @ivanlowjones
      @ivanlowjones Před 8 lety

      Ceaser B: Pleather, leatherette, or any other type of faux leather may wear and fade over time, but real leather is quite durable. Obviously cleaning it was the proper treatment products will extend its appearance even longer. Perhaps you should upgrade to higher trim levels that offer real Nappa or a similar plush leather interior. Who knows, perhaps vinyl seats will make a comeback in the auto industry for guys like you.

      +ShxdowsGaming : He has bounced around the CZcams car reviewer circuit. The "Hooniverse"...what was that all about? I enjoyed him on Autobytel when I first started watching these car video's about 5 years ago.

      +J High I've owned Hooniverse since 2009. It's still very much my "home" on the Internet. I freelance for other outlets though.

    If you are going to keep your car. turbos don't last and put excessive pressure on the engine. Get the base.

    I got a normal Santa Fe, and still have buyers regret, it's seriously way smaller than I imagined, even after the test drive! These vehicles are definitely made for smaller people.

      Geez... tht's my biggest concern. I'm thinking of buying one and I am 203cm and not the slimmest man around with my 120kg of weight ( don't know if you're in metric, but that's like 6ft8 and 264lbs )...would you see me in one of these? Many thanks

      6ft8, this clearly is not your vehicle!!! Not sure if you live in the us, but if you do, I would go with a truck-based suv, you know like a chevy tahoe or ford expedition. If you don't live in the us, then I would probably go with the a toyota suv like a sequoia, or nissan patrol. If you have the money, definitely consider the audi q7 or mercedes gl-class, they have plenty of room!!! I know where you're coming from, I myself am 6ft5 and 235 lbs and the santa fe does not have adequate space for us bigger guys! Best of luck!!

      @ALCOR_46 Před 7 lety +1

      Thanks man!! Glad to talk to someone who knows :) I live in Europe so a little bit tricky to come across a truck based SUV, however your idea got me thinkin'... we'll see. Money will definitely be the boss in this decision :) Wish you all the best!
