      I truly believe both Charles and Diana were damaged individuals. Neither of them had a normal family life and that is so important....they had no coping skills this together they were a disaster.diana was in a much better place than Charles because she at least had a loving father while Charles had no one but nannies..to make matters worse he was not allowed to marry the woman he loved ....so they were both victims.it is such a tragic story for everyone involved but simply because Charles was older than Diana means nothing because she was far more mature. The bottom line is they didn't have a chance.it is a miracle that the boys have turned out as well as they have. I for one hope they have all found peace...what else is there to do but move forward? I am 67 years of age, and this account of Princess Diana's life and tragedy had me often in tears. How could anyone have betrayed such a lovely, fresh, unspoiled young woman. How could her future husband not only callously sleep with his mistress the very night before his wedding to Diana, but how could he, at that very wedding, take a vow promising his fidelity to her until death would part them? Unfathomable. Prince Philip's blunt reaction - how could Charles leave someone as beautiful (and as loving as Diana) for Camilla Shand? - echoes what most must feel about this terrible loss to her two boys, to England and to the world. Poor, poor sweet girl. She deserved so much better.

      Sorry, but Diana was an actress and completely false. The face she gave to the world was a façade. Balmoral doesn’t have a swimming pool and members of the Royal Family use a nearby local pool. They arrive unannounced, pay their admission and then swim with the local people. But not Diana! She would call ahead to say she was on her way and ask for the pool to be cleared of people so she had the place to herself, and on arrival she just walked in without paying. This annoyed the locals and eventually they decided they had had enough. The manager came in one day to say that Diana was on her way and asked everyone to leave, but this time they refused. The said that it was unfair they were paying to use the pool but were expected to vacate it when Diana, who never paid, wanted to use it. They also pointed out that other members of the Royal family had no problem sharing the pool with the locals. When Diana arrived the manager told her that the customers had refused to leave and she told the manager to “order them to leave” which he refused to do adding that other royals didn’t ask for the pool to be cleared. She stormed off in a huff and never returned. Apparently the “people’s Princess” didn’t actually like the people enough to mix with them.

      Yep that comment reeked of covert jealousy. Noticed how she said that usually beautiful women, in general, are not great in bed (whatever that's supposed to mean) _ that seriously reeked of jealousy and personal frustration directed at women whom she/society deems beautiful. For the record, and loudly at that, so the people at the back can hear it too: for once and for all world, there is no such a thing as one being ''good'' or ''bad'' in bed, there is only chemistry and connection; either two people have it or they don't. Charles obviously had it with Camilla, and Diana obviously had it with men like Hewitt. Inexperience or experience doesn't even factor either, that's another stupid myth. Once the basic primal instinct kicks in everybody knows exactly what to do, and how they like it best; they just have to be doing it with the right person, someone one has chemistry with. But this woman's generation is used to blaming women for the short comings of men, she was raised to do that. Other than the jealousy factor there's also the fact that she was brainwashed to think like that. The issue here is that hers is a generation of pompous, ignorant, evil, poisonous aristocratic clouds. That's what the problem of the UK is, and has always been, these people, her kind, exactly. They represent the old which this world is in serious need to purge.

    After many many years of her being gone, i still cried towards the end of this. Diana was magic. She was a special person whose worth ironically, Charles didnt see and appreciate. She was so loved by so many, yet she wasnt able to truly enjoy real love. I believe her life, her destiny were written in the stars. It was how it shld have been. She was meant to be snatched by heaven, because she wld have been better loved there. Continue to rest in God's love, our Princees, our Queen.❤️❤️❤️

      No wonder he finally turned away.
      Did you notice in the thumbnail to this video, Charles has his arm around Diana.
      In early photos Charles often has his arm around Diana or gently touching her back. Supportive gestures. He was quite attentive to her. But some people are so demanding that nothing is ever enough. Diana was one of those people.
      At the time Charles re-established his relationship with Camilla he was on the brink of a total breakdown.

It's as if they are trying to make her seem like some sort of Jezebelian homewrecker when she seemed to simply be a naive young lady thrown into a den of wolves. Of course her personality clashed with these people. From all of the historical accounts of their ancestral lines you had a string of rigid sociopaths and she was an empathetic individual. She was glamorous, sophisticated and the people loved her. Of course that would make her intimidating. I am not surprised if she went out and cheated, after all of the blatant disrespect that she had to endure. Charles was not having an affair when they were first married, up until the children were born, they stay together Diana and Charles, then when it started to fall apart he told all his troubles to Camilla. Nobody can know what went on save the two of them, Diana was very jealous of Camilla, and did very silly things like throwing herself down stairs for attention, and all the Bulmia that Charles couldn’t cope with, as much as I love Diana to bits, they we’re definitely not compatible at all.

I’d rather get all the information from multiple sources and then decide what I believe!!! Not some contrived story that is obviously untrue!!

    • @lucretciaseven4873
      @lucretciaseven4873 Před 4 lety +6

      @MrAeronuk1 MrAeronuk1 Yet judging from all your comments you excuse Charles at every turn while extending none of the same liberality to Diana; it must go both ways to be any kind of adequate defense. Distilled down to the bare essentials: they were both human and they both made disastrous choices and mistakes. However, the one mitigating factor that cannot be overlooked is: Charles was a 33 year old man who entered into a marriage with a sheltered unworldly 19 year old girl fully expecting to in effect have his cake and eat it too.
      While I do not overlook or approve of Diana's behavior in the slightest I cannot fathom how anyone can condone knowingly relegating someone so young to a lifetime in a loveless marriage as a mere 'oops my bad, they pushed me into it."

    • @lucretciaseven4873
      @lucretciaseven4873 Před 4 lety +5

      @MrAeronuk1 I'm well over it, it is you that seems to feel the need to play Prince Charles apologist so vigorously all over the board here. You seem quite aggressively pro Charles, making convenient excuses for him at every post you feel implies criticism pf him which render your arguments hard to take seriously.

    • @lucretciaseven4873
      @lucretciaseven4873 Před 4 lety +6

      @MrAeronuk1 Then acknowledge your opinions as heavily biased in that you will excuse the flaws in one that you will not in the other. Charles also had affairs with married women and didn't seem to care about the effects of it either, not even when it came to his own wife and children.
      He was also manipulative and devious in that he had his set of older well established friends spread gossip about Diana's instability, lack of intelligence and so forth well before her first affair ever came about. And lastly he thought nothing about constantly throwing Diana and Camilla together in the beginning ( even at their wedding) and didn't care a jot if it hurt her or not.
      There is plenty of sauce here for both goose and gander, I am just able to see it without blinkers , when you can then further dialogue might mean something.

  • @dissodatore
    @dissodatore Před 4 lety +70

    Diana's marriage was doomed from the start. Charles only seemed to marry her to tick a box, and kept the one he loved on the side, he didn't seem to want to make it a true marriage.

    • @kelsosunshine3400

      That's normal for the royal family. His mother and grandfather are actually quite rare being monarchs who have (to public knowledge) never had extramarital affairs. It's an archaic institution and I don't think Charles can bare the blame for how out of touch they all really are.
